Gorgeous. Even better than our high expectations!

This house is awesome from the moment we saw it to the moment we left. The location was excellent, just one block from Lincoln and a few blocks from Collins - right where the South Beach action is. It was in great condition and very well equipped, and we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The garden and pool are great, as was the built in sound system. The maid came daily and kept it spotless. I would highly recommend it to any large group. We had 10 of us staying very comfortably. The manager Ana was helpful and maintenance came quickly when we had a very minor issue. I look forward to the next time I go on a group trip to Miami and would definitely book to stay here again.

Fantastic house and location

The house exceeded our expectations. Great location in many ways; close to restaurants and shopping at Lincoln Rd, short walk to the beach and 10-15 minute walk to "Whole Foods". Fantastic heated swimming pool, quite child friendly. Open spaced kitchen bound together with the living room. Owner was very friendly and helpful when we had questions.

Nice Home in SoBe as advertised

Villa is as advertised. Very nice, well maintained, close to most everything in south beach including Lincoln Rd mall. Had large group of 12 people and had just enough room for everybody. The owner of home met us at property upon arrival and went over everything. Owner stopped by once while we were there (not a problem for us, however if have something wanting to hide this is not the home for you). After reading other reviews expected this. Pool area is great, has small grill outside that we didn't use. Kitchen area is nice with full size refrigerator and freezer. Usually when we stay in Miami we eat out a lot, however having full use of large kitchen we ended up eating at the house much more than I would have ever thought. Parking is tight but easily fits two cars. Owner was very nice and willing to let you know about whatever you wanted, answer any questions whether they pertain to the house or SoBe. Cleaning lady is very nice as well and made the stay all the more enjoyable. As long as you understand owner or cleaning lady will be in house from time to time, you will really enjoy this place.

Great location, great pool and patio!

Location is great, walking distance to Lincoln for shopping and dining and to Ocean Drive. The house is big with plenty of room, we were a group of 7 guys and never felt cramped. The backyard patio and pool area really makes the house though. Very private with tall trees blocking out the neighbors and a nice Weber for grilling. Definitely great a great oasis away from the crowds.

What a place!

We stayed at the Beautiful Meridian Home for 5 days celebrating birthdays! The home was BEYOND our expectations with plenty of space, great amenities and gorgeous landscapes! I don't think we could have asked, wanted or needed anything more. 2 Blocks away from Lincoln Road with all the Restaurants and shopping you need, blocks from Collins and Ocean drive..and of course the beach! PERFECT Location! The Property Manager was very helpful. Cant wait to stay here again!

Beware… You can’t judge this book by its cover. This home is not what it appears and the owner does not return deposits. We rented this home for 8 days the last eek of January and part of February. The pictures and videos are beautiful. At first glance you think you are in the height of luxury, but it is wrought with problems. The home is actually 4 tiny apartments that have been remodeled into one home. The home advertises as 5 bedrooms, however they are so tiny you cannot move around in them. In fact one bedroom has a queen size bed going length wise against the wall taking up the whole room. The shared bathrooms are a nightmare. The biggest problem with the home is that there is nowhere to congregate or entertain other then the dining table or the outside pool area. The pool area is beautiful, but you are not allowed out there at night, which if you are in South Beach for business or a convention, that is when you want to be there. We found out about this when we entertained several guests one evening by the pool and because of all the barking dogs in surrounding apartments, code enforcement was called. The other problem is there are rats everywhere. The first night we were there, there was a rat running all over the house. One of the people in our party said the rat leaped three stairs at a time… kind of scary. Among other issues is the noise coming from surrounding apartments around the house including dogs that bark all night. Because the home has very old windows that do not close all the way, there is no shutting out the noise. Lastly we waited two weeks for our deposit to be returned and when we contacted the owner, he told us because code informant was called one night he was not going to return it. After a heated discussion he said I could have my lawyer contact him. Obviously he knows that it would cost more in legal fees then the deposit. Bad situation all around…..

Owner's Response: This is not the first time this guest stayed with us. The first time was 1 year prior, he and his daughter stayed and we had no issues.

In fact they were so good, when they sent a request to stay again this year 11 months in advance, we were happy to accommodate him. They come as a vendor for the Miami Beach Antique Show. Unfortunately this year was a total different situation. In addition to his daughter he brought his son and friends. Their stay started out okay, by Friday all the problems started. With a party of drunks, excessive noise, music and screaming into the late night. They were being completely disrespectful to the property and neighbors. They were not obeying the City Of Miami Beach Noise Ordinance that they agreed to follow, at check in. I personally heard all the noise and went over to the back gate, and told them to end the party and send everyone home. Unfortunately, they didn't, and as expected the City Code Compliance and possibly the police showed up and ended their party. In addition to the crazy party, they broke windows, blinds, and side table, and left open food, and snacks under beds and in drawers. All of this has been documented. The problems didn't end with them leaving. I then had to deal with him sobering up and finally realizing the consequences of their actions. Which began with a series of nasty threats and crazy talk.

This is a multimillion dollar property and is kept in perfect condition. Upon arrival the guest did a complete walk through of the property and signed our check in documents, which state “YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE PROPERTY AND AGREE EVERYTHING IS IN WORKING CONDITION AND THE PROPERTY IS HOW IT WAS EXPLAINED TO YOU AND HOW YOU EXPECTED IT TO BE”. For this client to say the property is anything different than what it is represented to be IS A COMPLETE LIE. As anyone can read the other amazing and happy reviews, no one would come to a place week after week if it was in the conditions as described by him. Even he would not come back. But he did and completely trashed the property. Fortunately for us we had a security deposit, which covers damages and destructive behavior.

This type of situation is never easy for either the property owner or the guest. Both have to deal with the after math. I will say this particular guest took me by surprise since his prior stay was so pleasant. But as usual booze and whatever else makes people totally different.
