This is a family-friendly condo with a king-sized bed in the master bedroom, sleeper sofa in the living room and full-sized yet space saving bunks in the hallway. Everything you could need to prepare your meals on vaction, or just warm leftovers from the hundreds of great restaurants in Galveston, is at your fingertips.
Seashell touches throughout the condo are present but not overpowering - visit the sandy beaches of Galveston to collect your own seashells and create your own memories. Take them home to remember your stay, and think about when you can come back again!
How long can you stay? The longer you stay the lower the rates - inquire about monthly, seasonal and annual rates. This condo provides a great alternative to student housing for UTMB or TAMUG students, instructors and researchers and your family can join you if you aren't studying solo!

My Galveston Getaway offers no-surprise pricing! When renting from us – all required City of Galveston and State of Texas occupancy taxes, linens, cleaning fee and (where required) one parking permit is included in your quoted rental price. We accept personal checks, VISA, MasterCard and Discover.
Some of our property owners allow one, four-legged canine family member to join you in their
property. No property allows any animal or breed potentially identified as dangerous or vicious (including Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, or any mixed breeds that include these) to be on property. Each of the properties offers a pet relief area and pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their own pets.
Each rental requires a $500.00 fully refundable security deposit or purchase of a deposit damage waiver in the amount of $45 for $1,500 or $69 for $3,000 of coverage. If the check payment option is elected, the check is held, not cashed or deposited. When the cleaning crew that arrives after your departure lets us know that all is well with the unit, the check will be returned to you if a self-addressed stamped envelope is provided, or shredded by our office staff. One-half of the rental price is due at the time of booking to take your dates “off the market” to other renters. The balance is due not less than seven days prior to your scheduled arrival date.

- The Maravilla Resort complex offers 3 pools including the largest on Galveston island with palm trees literally in an island in the center of the pool, a hot tub, and workout room. The pools at the complex are heated only by the environment. Free WiFi access is available in the lobby during the complex office hours of operation, and in the workout room at all other times. There is a pay per use service also available from each condo if you prefer privacy. Coin operated laundry facilities are located throughout the complex. The complex, while gulf-front, is not sand-beach front. There are stairs leading into the Gulf of Mexico and folks regularly enter at this spot to swim and fish, but sand beaches require travel of 1-3 miles in either direction from the complex. Galveston is growing! The Historic Pleasure Pier is being brought back with a carnival atmosphere, rides, games, etc. Look for this to be completed in late May. Also, directly to the west of the Maravilla on Seawall Boulevard, the Marriott Corporation is constructing new hotel options for future visitors. Construction hours are somewhere in the vicinity of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and there is heavy equipment and at times more noise than others. Please don’t let this stop you from coming as we have reduced our rates to accommodate for the inconvenience, even though the heaviest noise time is during the day when most of our guests are out sightseeing, at the beach, etc. The front building and some west side units at the Maravilla are undergoing a facelift with new siding and railings being installed. The units that we manage in these areas are closed during this time. There may be noise to some of the other units while this progress is being made. Some of the Maravilla units, likewise, are undergoing facelifts to their interiors and you may from time to time hear noise associated with that, but work hours end by early evening. Experience Galveston now, while our rates are lower! During the construction by Marriott corporation to our west, please ask us to give you a 10% discount off our published rates for our west-facing units!
