We had a great visit here. We love that we can see the train from the house, the fireplace and the hot tub! Thank you!

Great Home Base for Family Fun

  • 5 of 5
The WRR is a very well cared for home that had everyone one needs, proximity to town, the train station, and a short day trip distance to the South Rim of thenGrand Canyon. We had 3 adults and 2 kids (4 & 5 yo). We had ample room and the loft area was a particular treat for our boys. The owner and the property manager were very easy to reach and helpful when we had a few questions. The only thing we missed was a hair dryer and wine opener ( which we were able to pick up at the Dollar General and left behind for whoever comes next).

There are enough towels to go around, but no separate hot tub towels. The hot tub was great - a nice addition for the cool evenings. The children's playset and trampoline also got near daily use.

The patio was great to enjoy a morning coffee and book.

The trains just across the prairie were fun to watch and not a problem at night unless you are an early or light sleeper.

We did the train to he South rim which was great as its nearly 100 years old. They make it fun for everyone with entertainment on board and cabin stewards that provide a lot of info along the trip. We used our train tickets the next day to get into the Grand Canyon for free ($25 car entry fee waived) and explored deeper at our own leisure. Do not miss seeing the El Tovar hotel, the Desert View Watchtower, and taking a hike among the many available trails.

We also took in Bearizona (which we didn't know offers a discount to those who have taken the train ride) and the very dated Bedrock City.

We likened Williams to Radiator Springs - very quaint with very nice people.

Great cozy home for multi-family stay

  • 5 of 5
Our large family (including 7 grandchildren) stayed in this clean and cozy home in Williams AZ after our day trip to the Grand Canyon. This place is conveniently located 1 hr south of the Grand Canyon so it was super convenient as we were driving back to the Phoenix, AZ area.

Cameron was a pleasure to communicate with prior to our stay. During our stay, the adults had a great time BBQ-ing outdoors and relaxing in the jacuzzi while the kids played on the swing set and trampoline. Since it was end-of-October the weather was chilly, but the house heater worked well and everyone was toasty and comfortable. Return of the direct deposit was super fast too.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! Would definitely stay here again.

Nice, clean, but hottub down and had to shovel out

  • 3 of 5
Property was nice and clean and worked well for our two families (10 people) once the kids got over having to sleep more than one per room. Dinner table a little small for that many people, but saved a lot of money cooking ourselves. The location was convenient to the interstate to get to activities (as long as it is open as we experienced it being closed because of snow). We also had to dig ourselves out when it was time to leave (reportedly a function of the landlord being out of town when we were there). I would stay there again but would look elsewhere as well.

Great family time in Williams railway retreat!

  • 4 of 5
What a wonderful house, big enough for Grandpa and Grandma to bring the grandkids, which loved the trampelin in the yard. Was close to many side trips we took and dinner in town was nice. The house was clean, we did have a problem with the DVD player but we made the best of it with playing games with the kids. If in the area again we would stay here again.

Great Williams Getaway!

  • 5 of 5
We were a large group (3 families) spending the weekend in Williams to visit the Grand Canyon, Bearizona, etc. The home was well accommodating for the 15 of us (6 adults, 9 kids). The kids really enjoyed the loft bedroom and the trampoline. The adults enjoyed the clean, well-maintained and upgraded home and accommodations. We made most of our meals in the kitchen, with many of the amenities provided and available. The home was as represented, if more impressive in person than the photos.
Cameron was very responsive with all of my requests and questions, and I'd definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in Williams or visit the Grand Canyon! Don't miss Bearizona - also a unique experience!
