My family stayed in this cozy home when we went to VA Beach to attend my son's reenlistment ceremony for the Navy. This place is open, airy, clean and we felt like we were at home. The beach is just a short walk and has a nice boardwalk over the dunes. The beach is in a residential neighborhood, so if you like a more private beach, this place is for you. The property is well maintained. The 2 bedrooms are far away from each other and each has it's own bathroom. Great for privacy. I enjoyed the simplicity of the décor. It was easy to keep clean and that meant more time for the beach. The huge island in the kitchen was great to prep on and lay meals out on. The pictures do not do this little gem justice. I would highly recommend this to anyone not wanting to be in the crowded atmosphere of the boardwalk area. Although it is only a 15 min. drive to get there. Another benefit of the beach was seeing the dolphins daily right off shore. Both the owner and the real estate agent were concerned that everything was ok and that new were pleased. We were provided a cell phone number of the agent, Jan Willis, and were told to call her anytime. WE would definitely stay here again and recommend this home to anyone coming to this area. No complaints at all. I would recommend Captain Georges seafood buffet. Pricey, but amazing. Also, the USS Wisconsin museum. You can wander around on the battleship alone and also take tours if you like. A lot of history and a nice gift shop. We also went fishing on a charter boat just 15 minutes north of us. Mostly we just enjoyed the beach and the house with our family. Thank you, Jan!!!!!
