This home was completed in 2002 and became “our dream second home” on 28 March 2012. We have named it “Villa Caranday Palm” after a Floridian Palm Tree.
The home offers 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and will therefore comfortably accommodate 8 people, however, due to there being a queen sleeper in the main living room, the home will accommodate a further 2 people. There is also room for a baby / infant as we have thought of everything and there is a travel cot and high chair which can be used at any of the dining tables.
This home offers a beautiful lakeside view which can be seen from any part of the rear of the property. Guests can also see the lake and watch the wildlife while enjoying a relaxing sit down or sunbathe on the pool deck or even whilst taking a dip in the pool. Both the pool and pool deck are larger than the average rental home and measure a total area of 40 ft x 36 ft for the lanai area, with around a 28 ft x 16 ft private heated salt water pool which is south facing, therefore enjoying the sun from sunrise to sunset. Guests can also enjoy an evening dinner al-fresco under the covered lanai area measuring 28 ft x 10 ft which features a large table seating ten people comfortably. One added feature also of this home is that there are two outside ceiling fans both with lights therefore ensuring plenty of light for outside dining in the evening which is very rare for some rental homes.
The home has been completely remodelled to give it that “modern and contemporary” look, landscaped, painted inside and out and has all new window treatments / blinds on all windows / patio door.
The home features a brand new kitchen with new stainless steel appliances and granite countertops with tile backsplash, both bathrooms have been upgraded with new sinks / taps, granite countertops and lighting and the utility room has a new washer / dryer. The home also benefits from new flooring with wood flooring in the games and formal dining area and hallway leading to the master bedroom, carpet in all bedrooms and the original tile in the main living room, bathrooms and the hallway leading to the bedrooms and family bathroom. New ceiling fans complete with lights in the family room, all bedrooms and the lanai area.
The home comprises of a master bedroom with en-suite, queen bedroom and two twin bedrooms (one being a Disney theme bedroom for the children and the other a country style themed bedroom for either adults or children). The queen bedroom and two twin bedrooms all share the family bathroom. The home also features a games area, formal dining area, kitchen / breakfast nook, utility room and garage which will fit two cars. The property also features its own private pool and have been tastefully landscaped with black concrete curbing all around the home with white marble rock and a selection of shrubs and flowering plants. We also have a 6 foot UPVC fence in an L shape along the left hand side and rear of the home to offer additional privacy whilst swimming and around the pool / lanai area.
The home is fully air-conditioned and can be switched to heating if required. The home is fully equipped and features additional extras that not all rental properties benefit from. As a four bedroom with an additional queen sleeper it will easily accommodate two larger families making it an ideal home to share or is ideal for the smaller families too. We are sure our guests will not be disappointed with the standard of accommodation offered.
For added security around the pool there is a child safety barrier. A pool blanket is provided on a roller to help keep the heat in the pool, especially during the winter months and also when pool heating is specifically requested / paid for by our guests. The pool deck area also benefits from a screened lanai which is there to help protect the area from leaves, insects etc. The pool deck is equipped with four sun-loungers, two small side tables (and two plastic white side tables too), outside dining table and ten chairs. The table has cork outdoor placemats and coasters and also cloth placemats. Also guests will find two outside artificial flower arrangement and two ceramic table solar lights on the table and outside table cloths which can be found in the pantry in the kitchen, please remember to return these to their rightful place on leaving for our future guests to use also. Guests will find located in the garage a storage box with various pool toys, noodles, rubber sunbeds etc. These can be used by our guests at their own risk in the pool but please remember to dry these after use, deflate and return back to the storage box for our future guests to use. Guests will also find an outside clock / temperature guage hanging on the lanai wall together with outside wall decoration. For those guests who enjoy a little light music when sunbathing a separate outside radio / CD player can also be found in the pantry in the kitchen.
Guests will also find a pool light in the pool for the evening swimming. The switch can be located on the wall outside near the dining table. The lighting creates a good ambience as it can be set to one colour or a multiple of colours on a sliding basis.
Guests are reminded that “SMOKING” IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED INSIDE THE HOME, however guests can smoke freely in the lanai area.
The pool deck area can be directly accessed from the main open plan living room. Pool towels can be located in the linen cupboard for guest use whilst out on the pool deck area.
Guests also have the option at the time of booking to hire a Gas BBQ Grill.
The luxury / executive property is set overlooking a lake on Sabal Harbour, located in a great sought after area for residents and vacation / holiday rentals.
This property was fantastic and had everything you could possibly need. The location was perfect.
The home is located on a quiet residential community of Sabal Harbour which offers unlimited free access to all its community facilities ie. community pool, tennis courts, basketball, volleyball court, children’s play area and much more. The facilities are for residents and their guests only and guests will be provided with one swipe card for access to these facilities during their stay.
The home is conveniently located approximately 3 miles west of the SR70 as you come off the I75 South. Sabal Harbour is very close to University Parkway which is centrally located where guests will find an abundance of shops, restaurants and cinemas. The home has several grocery / supermarkets within a short drive away and these being, Wal-Mart, Publix, Sweetbay etc. There are also several beaches nearby with Siesta Key, Lido Key, Bradenton Beach and Holmes Beaches. Depending on which beach is visited, guests will be looking at a driving distance of between 14 and 17½ miles with a driving duration of between 25 and 35 minutes. Lido Key is the closest beach to the Community of Sabal Harbour. The IMG academy is also conveniently located with a driving distance of 7 miles with a driving duration of 15 minutes. There are many other activities and amenities within the vicinity of Sabal Harbour that our guests can visit during their stay, these include, golfing, adventure golf, animal zoos and marine life aquariums, car racing, State Parks, Botanical Gardens and Historical Centres and much, much more. Our guests will not get bored during their stay!!
