The condo is almost new & fully furnished. Sleeps 4 max per county and condo association rules. Tranquil, Quiet and Private but near everything you could possibly want to do. Pool and hot tub are literally steps from your back door. NEW is a 60 inch HD TV (not shown in photo!) Also, cable TV, dvd player. Wireless internet. Everything you need is here! Burnt Store Lakes Association also has a lovely park for picnics and outings. Less than an hour from Longboat Key, Manasota Key, and Sanibel/Captiva. 3 Month minimum stay for Winter Season. (Jan-March) Minimum one month stay required the rest of the year. **Stays of 6 months or longer are not required to pay hospitality tax. No animals or Smokers. Owner is allergic to both.

This property was brand new when we bought it even though it was built before the crash. I loved that it is in a quiet and safe area and skirts Punta Gorda as well as Cape Coral.There are only 17 units in the Association so it is a great place to come and relax at a reasonable price. The pool is right there and the road has no traffic so is great for walkers. People in the neighborhood are very friendly and the local lakes are scenic. We are on the ground floor which makes life so much easier! This will probably be our retirement home someday!

We are less than 30 minutes from Southwest Regional Airport in Ft. Myers and just a few miles from the Punta Gorda Airport. We are located in South Punta Gorda nestled between Pirate Cove and World Class Burnt Store Marina on Charlotte Harbor & The Gulf which offers great boating, fishing, and miles of Kayak and Canoe trails. Also near Babcock Wilderness Preserve and Cecil M. Webb Wildlife Management Area, Matlacha Pass Aquatic Preserve, Boca Grande, Englewood, Port Charlotte, Cape Coral, Pine Island, Sanibel, Captiva, and Charlotte Harbor Preserve State Park which has 7 miles of shoreline and 4200 acres for birding, boating, fishing, hiking, and kayaking. Charlotte Harbor Kayak trails have 200 miles of prime waterway perfect for kayaking and canoeing. We have our own canoe launch just .2 miles from the condo. There is lots of shopping in Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, Cape Coral and Ft Myers. There are numerous other things to see and always lots of local festivals!

Other places to visit include One of Many Beaches, Historic Downtown Punta Gorda, Fisherman's Village, The Muscle Car Museum, Punta Gorda Speedway, Punta Gorda Farmer's market, Miniature Golf on the harbor, and lots of outlet shopping in nearby Ft Myers.

We are within an hour from Venice, Venice Island, Sarasota, Ft Meyers, Ft Meyers Beach, and Sanibel & Captiva.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Cleaning Fee $150.00 + Tax
  • Refundable damage deposit $500.00
  • Tax Rate 12.0%

Minimum stay is one month off season & 3 months winter season. Damage deposit is $500 payable up front. Cleaning fee must be paid up front with your deposit. We expect you to keep our unit clean but we have a procedure that we go through after every tenant leaves to meet health code regulations. If extra cleaning is needed you will be charged for it. There is a 12.% Hospitality Tax on <6 months stay. To Book our unit:
We are now using the online "Book It Now" System online or we can send you a reservation request . We need 30 days to get condo association approval before your visit. To tie our unit up for winter season we need either 25% deposit OR the first month's rent with the balance payable 90 days before you get here. For Winter season (Jan through March) we need payment in full before Sept 1st. In the event of cancellation you will be refunded when we rebook and recover the season minus a $100 administrative fee. To book for the season we need your deposit, our own signed lease (online) , and association required paperwork filled out and back to us within 48 hours after you ask us for the unit.
We now have the website set up so that you can book online. People's life and plans often change so just because the unit is not available right this minute it doesn't mean that it won't be later on. Due to the popularity of this area and the high number of people that contact us we cannot "hold" the unit while you think about it. That is why we enabled online reservations and the "Book It Now" system.
We do not "show" the unit as we both work full time. Our photos are recent and accurate and we have been verified by Vacation Rentals.Com . We only give out the address to people that are renting with us and have signed a lease.
We are not responsible for errors on the website and we are still learning how to use it ourselves.

This unit is unique as it is on the harbor and there is often a gentle breeze coming off the harbor. Sunsets are gorgeous. It is also close to many conservation areas and kayak trails for those that want to enjoy the raw beauty of Florida. We not that far from some of the best beaches in the world. I-75 is nearby for day trips North and South. Punta Gorda has a small airport with inexpensive flights to several destinations. There is something to do for everyone nearby.

  • 2 BR, 2 Full Baths, 1359 sq. ft. living space. PLUS one car garage, utility room with large capacity brand new washer & dryer, screened lanai, pool & hot tub right outside your door. Total sq. ft. with garage and lanai is around 1700. All on one floor with ramp at front door. This condo has never been lived in and everything is brand new except for some furniture that we brought down from CT. The two queen beds are brand new Simmons Beauty Rest Firm mattresses and all egyptian cotton linens, comforters, pillow cases, etc. are brand new. We supply Bath towels and Beach towels. Kitchen includes service for 8 and all new large appliances, smaller appliances, pots, pans, hair dryer, makeup mirror, etc. We even have playing cards, checkers and monopoly games for the rare rainy day! Condo is fully air conditioned with additional ceiling fans in 3 rooms. Also Cable TV and Wireless Internet are provided. No pets.
