Cabin, 1 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, 5 Sleeps

Welcome to our cabin, 100 Mile View. We absolutely love our cabin, and have decided to share it with you.

100 Mile View has one of the most breathtaking views imaginable. You’ll think you’re in an airplane when you see the unobstructed views of mountains, hills, and valleys. You can see miles and miles of beautiful scenary! In the evening, you can watch an amazing sunset, as the sun sets behind Bluff Mountain, silhouetting the mountain range and lighting up the sky with a brilliant orange glow. At night, the lights of the valley glow and the surrounding cabins on the mountains look like beautiful little pinpoints of light. Guaranteed, you won’t soon forget this view!

Location, Location, Location! 100 Mile View is centrally located, up on the mountain above Dollywood. You can even hear the Dollywood train whistle. You can be in Pigeon Forge or Dollywood in less that 10 minutes (3 minutes if we had a zip line down the mountain). Dollywood, Splash Country water park, a beautiful community pool, Gatlinburg, skiing, restaurants, outlet malls, zip lining, shows and entertainment, go carts, miniature golf and real golf, and theGreatSmokyMountainNational Park are all located nearby. No long drives here! All roads, including the driveway, are paved and well maintained, and not very steep.

At 100 Mile View, you will find a true log cabin, not just a house with siding. 100 Mile View has the kind of cabin decorating and comfort that you want on your vacation in the mountains. This beautifully decorated one bedroom (plus seperate king bed in loft) cabin plus game room is perfect for a romantic honeymoon or a family getaway, sleeping up to five people. The second bedroom, second bathroom, and huge jacuzzi tub are located in the loft. We even provide a washer and dryer for your convenience. You can enjoy the view from nearly every room, or you can sip a glass of wine and look at the view and the evening lights from either the 2nd story or 1st story covered decks, or from the romantic outdoor hot tub or rockers on the decks.

Our friendly indoor black bears and “cabiny” furnishings will welcome you. After a full day of hiking, sight seeing, or shopping, the flat-screen HDTVs with cable, DVD player, WIFI, pool table and air hockey table will entertain you. The huge two-person indoor jetted Jacuzzi tub will relax you. The gas fireplace in the living room and bedroom will calm you. The fully equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ grill will feed you (if you really want to cook on your vacation). And at the end of the day, the king-size log bed, queen-size log bed, or queen sleeper sofa will rest you.

We have paid a lot of attention to detail. We take great pride in keeping our cabin and hot tub CLEAN and in excellent condition. Our goal is to make your stay at our cabin a wonderful experience so that you will want to return again and again, and to tell your friends and loved ones about 100 Mile View.

This cabin was previously rented out by TimberTops for $210 - $230 per night non-holidays, and for $320 on holidays! We are now renting it out ourselves to SAVE YOU, OUR VALUED GUEST, MONEY!

We love our cabin, and it is our wish that you will, too!

My brother and his wife had such a wonderful time! They were completely amazed at the view of the mountains and the cabin itself. They loved everything about the cabin, it is extremely beautiful! Someday in the future, they said that they would like to go back. It was very relaxing for them, and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

Thank you for your hospitality and for your help in all areas of their trip. I really appreciate it and I know that they did as well.

Purple Mountain Majesty

We have been soaking up the beauty and peace of this cabin view for the week. With two balconies, it is so inviting to sit and enjoy. We would definitely recommend the cabin and would like to come back again ourselves. Everything was well maintained and clean.

Be sure to arrive before dark on your first visit. The road is steep and narrow. However, once here, it is well worth it for the majestic 100 mile view.

We loved walking on the road to the very top to enjoy the wildflowers, and other views. A great place to hike.

We saw three shows - Smoky Mountain Opry, The Hatfield and McCoy's Dinner Theatre, and Soul of Motown. Loved all three shows.

We dined at a number of places but our favorite for charm was "The Old Mill".
We also enjoyed ice cream from "Mad Dog's Ice Cream Shop" voted best in Pigeon Forge. Many flavors to choose from.

We drove two day trips. One to Norris, TN, to the Museum of Appalachia. Fascinating and inspirational. We also spent a day in Cades Cove. We highly recommend two visits to better understand our mountain heritage.
