The Hot Springs Lake House
Hot Springs Arkansas

Trip to Hot Springs

  • 5 of 5
My husband and I were looking to spend time in Arkansas with the potential to retire here in a few years. We stayed at this Lake Hamilton property. It was great! Just as the listing presented, right on Lake Hamilton. Actually, we think it was the best location in that particular area.. less sun on the deck. Beautiful view! Lake house was clean, pictures present the house well. Brendhan and Amy were easy to get in touch with, great to work with. We had no problem with the process of renting this lake house. The area of Hot Springs has a lot to offer. We rented a pontoon boat on Lake Hamilton and Lake Ouchita. Awesome experiences.. And our trip coincided with a motorcycle rally in Hot Springs. We trailer our bike on our trips so this worked out well for us. This area is just a beautiful part of the country. I would recommend the Oyster Bar at Fisherman's Wharf for seafood.. wonderful ambiance. Also from a biker standpoint, Fat Jack's is a place to visit.. great people and a fun time... I would recommend this place to everyone!! Enjoy!!

We had a woderful family getaway!

My husband and I took the upstairs while our teenagers took the downstairs. It's like 2 separate apartments which was nice. We had a beautiful view and it was so quiet! That was surprising since it is so conveniently located within just a couple of minutes from so much. We came down for the races, but would love to come back during the summer!

Great weekend getaway!

My wife and I were looking for a place to unwind and decompress after a very stressful winter for both of us. This place didn't disappoint. We are not lake people, but drinking coffee on the deck in the morning or reading a book in the evening with the sounds of the lake in the background was very nice. It is convenient to everything Hot Springs has to offer. (For breakfast, The Pancake Shop in Hot Springs is worth the wait. Cash only.) The house was clean and well maintained although a little smaller than I expected, but that detail was negligible. It was true to the pictures shown on the website. On Sunday we stayed in because of bad weather which was fine because the Rangers were playing Seattle and nothing beats watching baseball from your couch on a rainy day. The problem was the couch (futon?) wasn't very comfortable. We also couldn't get the gas grill to light and the gas jets were very rusty. It probably needs to be replaced. These complaints are minor. We would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to friends or anyone else.

Lovely Stay

  • 5 of 5
My husband and I stayed at the Lake House for a few days in October. The house was tucked into a nice wooded area directly on Lake Hamilton. We loved having dinner/wine and our breakfast/morning coffee on the deck. We probably could have lived out there! The house was clean and well-maintained and looked exactly as it appeared in the photographs. The Hot Springs National is a nice area to visit during the day and don't miss the brew pub on Bath House Row-good beer, excellent food and gelato! Thank you for a nice, relaxing stay in Hot Springs!

So happy we booked our stay at this house!

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights. It was clean and felt very safe, we felt it was a perfect location. The house was exactly as described - no complaints at all. The pictures are an accurate reflection of the property.

We loved the deck, we loved the ducks and geese coming to visit in the yard, we loved having the option of a grill, we loved that there as a bug zapper on the deck :) It really was a perfect setting for us, we would highly recommend it.
