Hope you got my message after I arrived in Portland......didn't have time in Seattle to respond.

We ALL loved your beautiful home and it's location with the fabulous views and convenience to our younger son & his family who live on the upper section of Thorndyke. Everyone walked back and forth quite often. We sat out in your back yard a lot since the weather was perfect for that. Nice grill!

Plus the beds were super comfortable. Great situation as our older son & his wife could have the basement suite. They were impressed!

My 2 grandsons really enjoyed playing hide & seek in your house as they remembered from the last time how many good places to stay concealed!

The flowers and bushes in your neighborhood were spectacular this trip. So appreciated after our long hard winter.

Thanks again and we would love to stay there again next visit! So far our favorite vacation rental in Magnolia.

Best wishes,

Wonderful stay at SeaEscape

  • 5 of 5
SeaEscape is an immaculate, well maintained home, even more charming than the photos. It is equipped with everything imaginable to prepare a family dinner or outdoor barbeque. Very comfortable furniture and beds. The location is lovely and peaceful. It's within a short two-block walk to the metro bus to take you to Seattle Center, Olympic Sculpture Park, Belltown, and Pike Place Market, with easy transfers to the bus to the Waterfront, Great Wheel, ferry terminal, Pioneer Square, etc. It even has a fireplace for those cold rainy Seattle days. The Owner and Caretaker provided contact information just in case we needed assistance, but everything worked perfectly and we did not need to call them. I would give it 10 stars if I could. We hope to return for future vacations.

A fabulous week

  • 5 of 5
We spent a week at the beginning of August in "Sea Espace". The house is located in Magnolia a beautiful residential suburb of Seattle. Clean, spacious, well equiped and decorated this house is close to the center of Magnolia where you can walk to shops and restaurants. The center of Seattle (Pike Market) is only at a10 minutes drive so it is a good depart point to discover the Seattle Area. There is a little park where we saw our first "american" eagle.
You can trust the pictures shown, i recommend "Sea Espace" and hope to come back.

Charming Comfortable Clean Convenient

  • 5 of 5
We loved our time at Sea Escape. The house was clean, comfortable, well decorated, and simply charming. The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Do!wntown is just minutes away. We enjoyed the views - can't wait to come back! We were already looking at returning in November but already booked. :(
We brought my 85 year-old mom, she loved the house, she was able to stay upstairs and move around comfortably.
Thanks! Be back soon, Doreen

Priorities Met!!

  • 4 of 5
When deciding on a Seattle rental, the most important thing on my checklist was to find a home that allowed for opportunities to walk around a safe neighborhood, as well as be within walking distance to local shops and restaurants. This rental met this priority with flying colors! When time allowed, our party of 4 enjoyed our relaxing strolls through the neighborhood and taking in the beautiful landscapes of individual homes. (Not to mention the water view) In the mornings we often walked into the village for breakfast or for coffee.
The home is also relatively close to the major Seattle sites. As a yearly visitor to Seattle, I have begun using the "Uber" app (similar to a taxi service but much better and cheaper) to get me to all those sites without the hassle of parking fees and traffic. I highly recommend it! I used it numerous times while visiting.
It is also worth noting that any of my questions in regards to the rental were answered in a timely manner and handled professionally.
The highest recommendation I could give is to say that I would return, and that is just what I plan on doing for 2015!

Loved it, recommend for any and all!

This home and location surpassed my expectations. It was surprisingly spacious for a 2 bedroom ranch - rooms were on the large side, especially the bathrooms which were also in great condition. Not only is it in beautiful Magnolia but it's basically the best corner of that neighborhood with water views and right by the bridge to Seattle, and only a short stroll to Magnolia Village. The house is also well maintained and very well stocked compared to the majority of rental properties - the only thing missing was soap! (but fortunately I had packed a bar) The owner was lovely to work with. I would return in a heartbeat. My only other note is that the basement bedroom, though extremely comfortable, does not have a door - this could be a privacy issue depending on your group.

Owner's Response: Hi Michelle, so glad you had a great time! Sorry about the soap! In addition to the shampoo & shower soap under the sinks, each arriving guest is to receive a bar of organic goat milk soap in each bathroom. I apologize if our caretaker ran out & will make sure she has a new supply.
There is no door to the stairway that leads to the basement suite. The suite is still private, but yes, visitors to the basement suite should announce themselves or knock : ) we hope you're able to visit again! Lynn

City Skyline views within walking distance, Panoramic Puget Sound Views, Olympic Mountains and Eliot Bay from the property. A pair of Eagles perched high on the tree located on the bluff almost every morning, they have been there for years! You can watch them from bed or the breakfast nook, hear them call around 6am-7am, and then around 8 am they go about their day.
