Fantastic home base in NOLA

  • 5 of 5
My wife and I recently stayed in this beautiful, private home behind a home for 3 nights. Staci and Trey were great hosts...everything was simple and as advertised from booking through departure. Trey met us when we arrived, showed us around the chalet, shared some of the artist's workshop history, and gave us some restaurant suggestions and directions. The bedroom area was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was large with two separate vanities and a large shower. The linens and bedding were top notch. Then there is the huge former artist workshop that has a pool table, bar, slot machines, mounted buffalo and deer heads, an eclectic mix of Mardi Gras memorabilia, and a very comfortable couch and large flat screen tv area. While we did not use the pull out couch bed, this would easily accomodate two more guest. The location was fantastic...we brought our bikes and were able to ride anywhere in town in 5-20 minutes. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Wonderful Trip

  • 5 of 5
We had the most enjoyable four nights in this great chalet! We loved the neighborhood and the entire atmosphere. Staci & Trey were the best and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. We also enjoyed learning about the history of the property...actually staying in the same place as a famous sculptor was so fun. The amenities were outstanding..a perfect mix of the old and the new. Can't wait to go back in the spring! So much better then a stuffy hotel room.

Another wonderful visit

  • 5 of 5
I was delighted to have the opportunity to return to this wonderful suite. It was the perfect home base when I attended our daughter's Tulane Law School graduation activities and helped her get ready to move. When some friends joined us for a mid-afternoon break, they were amazed and a little jealous that I'd found such a wonderful place. As always, Staci was a very gracious host and even made sure that the unit was ready early when I returned for the second half of my stay. If you're coming to New Orleans, this is a perfect place to stay!

Excellent Rental

  • 5 of 5
Our family of 4 had a wonderful experience renting this beautiful chalet. It is spacious, clean & even better than pictured. We loved the privacy & convenience of the location. We were able to walk to Tulane & Loyola for my son's college tours. We drove to the St. Louis Cathedral for mass but could have taken the street car which is only a minute walk from the home. Staci was so wonderful to rent from. She even had the sofa bed made & ready for us because we arrived very late! I can't say enough good things about our long weekend here. If my son does attend college in New Orleans I know where we will be staying when we visit. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Incredible place in New Orleans

  • 5 of 5
Incredible place to stay. My husband and I spent a long weekend here during Mardi Gras. We've been to New Orleans several times over the years, and this is by far our favorite place we've stayed.

Reasons to love it: spacious, comfortable, private, had everything we needed, cool vibe, pool table, beautiful neighborhood, quiet block, close to streetcar, easy to get to fun places to go out, awesome hosts in Staci and Trey. They were easy to communicate with and very hospitable.

On second thought, I hope you don't love it too much because then it might not be available the next time we want to go.

Unique and wonderful NOLA retreat!

  • 5 of 5
I can't say enough great things about this rental! The pictures posted represent exactly what you are getting which is so nice and relaxing. You feel like you are staying with family because Staci makes you feel so welcome! My husband and I spent 3 nights in NOLA and we could not have picked a more perfect location. You are in a very safe and historical neighborhood that is only a couple blocks away from wonderful restaurants, coffee shops and local bars. Maple street Cafe, Chill Out and Maple Street Patisserie have delicious food and deserts!

When we return to New Orleans we will definitely be stayin here, I can't imagine staying anywhere else. You are close to Tulane, Loyola, Audubon Park, 1/2 block to the St. Charles line and a few blocks from Carrollton. Do yourself a favor and try out Top Hat Cafe, its within driving distance and their pimento mac and cheese alone is worth another trip to New Orleans.

This is definitely without a doubt the coolest and most eclectic place we have every stayed. Thank you for opening your home up to us, we will see you soon!!!
