About this property

Beautiful beach cottage with ocean themed decor and panoramic views of the ocean from the living room and wrap-around deck. You will instantly relax as you hear the waves crashing on the beach while sipping a cold drink on the deck or while falling asleep after a delightful day at the beach.

Located on a small, quiet street, you are steps from the beach with a lifeguard stand within sight during the day (during summer), and thousands of twinkling stars at night. You will love the serenity and slow pace of beach living, while being just minutes from restaurants, shops, grocery stores, golf courses, state parks, fishing piers, and other local attractions.

The house has been recently renovated, including a brand new master bath. The decor is ideal for a seaside retreat. It's the perfect size for a family get away. Everyone has their own bedroom where they can relax, while the living area, kitchen, and dining room are open floor plan for enjoying time together.

We can't wait to get back to the beach house and the beautiful Outer Banks! We're pretty sure you'll feel the same way!!

Anniversary Getaway

My husband and I booked five nights at this beautiful oceanside cottage, and we were absolutely delighted with our accommodations. The cottage was lovely, well equipped, and in a very desirable location. We had great communications with our hosts who made us feel right at home with the cottage amenities and the detailed information given about the Outer Banks area. We look forward to booking another stay at this lovely home!

Awesome Location!!!

We truly enjoyed our stay in Nags Head! This was our first time at this beach area. Having the home so close to the beach with a life guard was fantastic, since we had 3 littlle ones with us(ages 2, 4, 5). We will be back!

Perfect Vacation

Loved the clean, close to the beach, quiet but close to the shops and action location. It was great to be able to run back to the house for food, nap time and other needs. The house is decorated beautifully and comfortable for a perfect vacation.

Good location. Inside very clean. A bit inconvenient for laundry room to be downstairs. Bathrooms a bit small. Outside needs some attention. Overall, a pleasant experience.

We are a family of 6 from the midwest. Our kids range in age from second grade to college and they all love the Outer Banks. There is definitely something to do for all ages! Going to the beach is probably our favorite activity. Greg takes advantage of the amazing photo opportunities, whether it's pictures of our kids playing in the surf, the sea turtles nesting, or some of the many water/shore birds. Leslie loves to walk up and down the beach, picking up shells that the tide brings in. The kids spend hours building sand castles, playing in the waves, and burying each other in the sand. We also love the fresh seafood at the local restaurants, and highly recommend Austin's Fish Market if you want to prepare your own! We also enjoy the North Carolina Aquarium, which isn't far from our place. Check out the sea turtle rescue wing!

Why they chose this property

We rented this house for our family vacation a few years ago and fell in love with it. It just felt like home. When we called to book the same week for the next summer, the owners told us that they were selling. We decided that we couldn't pass up the opportunity. Owning this beach house would be a dream come true! We are looking forward to making many happy family memories here and would love for you to be able to do the same with your family.

What makes this property unique

This house is in a PERFECT location. It is on a quiet street in South Nags Head, just steps from the beach. There is a lifeguard tower on the beach at the end of our street from Memorial Day through Labor Day, which is a rare amenity. There are plenty of restaurants, golf courses, shops, grocery stores, banks, parks, piers, and other attractions in Nags Head. Our home is located just past all of those things, so you only have to drive a few minutes to anything you want to go to. You could also ride your bike along the bike path to get to many of those attractions. At night you can see millions of stars in the sky!
