• Update; as of 2023 we are going to test out how it goes renting in the off season. We hope you visit us then and have fun with all the fall and winter festivities that happen in the area. Mission Ridge is only 35-40 minutes away, Octoberfest in Leavenworth or Wenatchee and Fire and Ice in Chelan! Obviously our pool will be closed, but our hot tub will be kept running.
• This stunning lakeside Orondo vacation rental was built in 2015, has a private pool, an eight-person hot tub, mountain views, and room for up to 12 people.
• The views don't get much better than this, right on the edge of the Columbia River and Lake Entiat, close to all the swimming, fishing, and boating that you could imagine.
• With a modern interior and tons of natural lighting, this home is luxurious and comfortable!
Admire the view from the living room sofa - the large windows provide excellent views of the water and mountains, and there's a mounted flatscreen TV where you can watch cable tv. There are six (up to ten) places to sit at the dining table, as well as five spots at the breakfast bar.
When you're ready to crash for the night, there are four bedrooms to choose from. Three have lavish king-size beds with welcoming bedding, and the last bedroom on the lower floor is our new “slumber party room” that sleeps up to 6 with two queen size beds and one full size bed. Downstairs, there's an awesome game room with a new pool table, Foosball and another flatscreen TV with Blu-ray. There's even a wet bar for your convenience.
• Interior and exterior SONOS speaker system.
• Outside, two decks are perfect for lounging with patio furniture, and there's an electric Traeger grill for BBQs. With an enclosed yard and private pool, everyone in your group will love splashing and playing around in the backyard. And when the sun goes down, take a soothing soak in the eight-person hot tub.
• We have a DOCK!! It is accessible year around. The dock is for daytime use loading and unloading only. There is also a buoy provided for overnight moorage.
• Many amenities come with this house to make your vacation feel like home. We often do updates in the off-season. Changing out bedding, updating furniture, making improvements. All to benefit the home. Updates will always be improvements!!
•Wenatchee is about 20 minutes south and Chelan is 30 minutes north.
• Our pool service company keeps the pool crystal clear and staff always has the house in tip top condition.
• POOL IS SEASONAL! The pool is generally open May through the end of September. Our pool is heated with a new heat pump that keeps it the perfect temperature. Guests are responsible for their own pool and river safety.
• The HOT TUB is kept running year around.
• Our home is ideal for family vacations, multiple families with kids, golfing weekend getaway with friends, book clubs, etc.
• We usually rent out for full weeks starting the end of June, July and through August, but we may be able to accommodate you if you want more than 7 days or we will also rent less than a week if your stay is Monday through Friday. Please send us a message to inquire about shorter or longer stays.
Book early to lock in your summer vacation!! This property does start to book out a full year in advance. Priority is given to returning guests, so start making it a family tradition today. If you are a new guest please send us an inquiry so we can put you on a list after return guests have chosen their dates.
• We manage our property ourselves which keeps the cost down for you! No pricey “Administrative fees”.
• AN ADDITIONAL CONTRACT WITH RATES AND ALL HOUSE RULES WILL BE EMAILED. This contract needs to be completed, signed and sent back via email or mail within 2 weeks of booking your reservation.
YOU MAY REQUEST A COPY OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT BEFORE YOU BOOK.
• Due to our Strict Refund Policy, we encourage guests to purchase travelers insurance.
Refunds given if there is a evacuation or the house is inhabitable.
We will always attempt to help out with re-booking in case of emergency.
This home is in Central Washington. Occasionally wildfires in parts of this area (and CANADA!) effect our air quality as well as many other parts of the state and country. This is not a reason to request to cancel your trip. If the air quality measures above 250 (per the AirNow dot gov site. No other air quality index will be accepted) for more than 48 hours during your stay, we will allow you to move your dates to off season dates (not including holidays). We will not consider changing dates if the air quality is less than 250 and it results in a lost booking. Again, we suggest trip insurance. It is unusual for vacation rentals to allow cancellations under these circumstances, so we hope you understand and appreciate what we offer.
• Notice. We do have EXTERIOR video cameras. They are part of our security system and are there for our protection and yours. Your privacy was kept in mind when installing them. You are welcome to ask about placement. They cover the entire perimeter; driveway, front door, side yard, back yard including pool area, and dock. The camera placement is not close up to areas in the back yard pool area where most of your outdoor entertainment will be, but cameras can see these areas as part of our security and yours.
• Occupancy. We have an occupancy of 10 adults, up to 12 if some are children under the age of 15. We do not charge extra for occupancy up to those numbers.
Please do not try to go over occupancy. Guests must match what is filled out on your rental agreement. Any changes need to be approved by the owners via email or text.
• Because a pet or service animal would be a severe health risk for members of our family, we cannot except reservations for guests that need to bring their pet/animal. This home is not a full time rental. It is only rented out around 5-6 weeks per year, the rest of the time it is frequented by owners on a regular basis. We hope you understand.
