As last year, we had a great experience. Wasn't as long as we would have liked, but the lack of availability only means that the owners do everything right! We will return again and again......we didn't stay in this particular unit this year, but same owner. Doesn't matter where you stay, it matters who you rent from:) Thank you and see you next year!

We found this place on vrbo, last minute vacation. What a surprise!! This place is perfect. So much room. Kim was very easy to work with, especially since this was last minute. The condo was very clean, and has everything we needed. The kitchen is completely stocked, bedrooms were roomy, the 2 bathrooms were a plus, considering we have 4 girls. Views are great, location on the island is great, very close to everything, 6 miles to Destin, but you don't have to deal with the Destin traffic. We will definitely stay here again. Easy walk to the beach, about 500 feet. Very nice people staying at the other condos there, but not crowded like the bigger condos. Thanks for a great stay!!
PS..the beach towels provided were a big plus and came in handy!

I had never been vacationing to Florida or to a beach before, but I believe this unit had the best location for views of the ocean and convenience to the beach. This was a first experience for my whole family. The cottage slept all six of us comfortably. It was my husband and I, our two small children (4 & 7), and my parents (mid 60's). We all enjoyed staying at the Sunset Dreamer. The views are spectacular. My parents enjoyed their time sitting out on the balcony just watching the ocean view. The cottage is just a short walk to the beach and has it's own boardwalk, so there isn't any worry about having to cross a busy street to get to the beach. Kimberly makes sure the unit is supplied with everything you need to have a wonderful worry free vacation. We plan on returning again next summer!

We stayed in 5C from 9/1 thru 9/8 and had an amazing time despite tropical storm Lee. There were 6 of us (4 adults and 2 children) and we had more than enough room even with being stuck inside for 2 days. If you stay in this condo, you only need to bring food, clothes, and yourself. It's furnished like a permanent lived in home. We had a wonderful surprise of a third deck off the dining room that was large enough for all 6 of us to watch the sunrise and sunset. All 3 balconies look at the Gulf. Absolutely beautiful. The pool is perfectly situated in the middle of the entire unit, which enabled us to swim despite the heavy winds and rain. We couldn't have asked for more. We will definitely return year after year, and recommend this unit to everyone!!! My husband and I are already trying to make plans for vacation next year, and a possible long weekend for our daughter's spring break:) Thanks so much for everything!

This condo feels like a home away from home. Great fit for our group- 2 couples and 2 kids. The upstairs bedroom was superb for my husband and me, and downstairs was perfect for the other couple and their kiddos. I loved having the peace & quiet of the 3 separate balconies for morning coffee and afternoon reading (with a view of the Gulf!). We loved the very short walk to the beach and having the pool at the bottom of the stairs. The condo has everything you need. We’ve stayed at one of Kim’s properties before and we will continue to do so! You can really tell she wants your stay to be comfortable.

This was such a wonderful place to stay! The street was not to busy, and the views of the Gulf from every balcony was everything you would dream of! My 4 year old LOVED the bunk beds, very family friendly. I would recommend this property to anyone, any age with or without children. Very clean, and close to the beach about a 2 min walk. We got Married on the beach at sun set, it was perfect. We will stay here again! May 2011.

We visited Sunset Dreamer in September 2010 and loved it. We went with another family. 6 people in all. Four adults and 2 young children, and it was perfect. The condo was well furnished, clean, and had plenty of space. We enjoyed the SHORT walk to the beach and beach rental service. It was also nice that the pool was so close. With two small children the closeness of everything was very important to us. Overall we had a great time and would definitely recommend this condo to a friend.

My Husband, Daughter and I, along with My Brothers family stayed for 4 nights, which was no where nearly longer enough. There were 7 of us and we had plenty of room. The view was outstanding and the Beaches were beautiful and very easy access. We will gladly come back to the area and plan on renting the same condo again. The condo more than lived up to the description on the website. Destin Harbor was beautiful and there was plenty to do in the area, but truthfully you just want to sit on the beach or play in the water. We watched Dolphins within yards of us in the water, and the sunrise and sunset from the balconies make sitting outside in the quiet so relaxing.

We really appreciate you letting us rent your cottage. I really feel like I have made a new friend. you really do give your guests a great place to stay for a reasonable price. We stayed in Sunset Dreamer for a week in September. The condo is so cute and has everything you need!!! The proximity to the beach is wonderful and the views from the condo are great. We sat and watched dolphins playing in the Gulf from our dining room window. Kim is wonderful to rent from and very easy to work with. Thanks for a great vacation spot!

We had a very relaxing vacation stay at the Sunset Dreamer. The nautical theme was nice and the proximity to the beach made it great. The area around the building was always kept clean. Being in the middle of Fort Walton beach and all of the attractions nearby also made it pleasurable. I bought my 20 ft boat and used the nearby public park/boat launch near the foot of the Brooks bridge. The park and boat launch was well kept. Another plus was that it was an easy and short boat ride over to the sandbar at the Destin bridge and to cruise by Destin Harbor. I also enjoyed jogging on Santa Rosa blvd with many other joggers and walkers.

We spent our 34th wedding anniversary in Sunset Dreamer. We have been to Fort Walton Beach many times but this was one of the nicest places we have stayed. We just returned from a great week on Okaloosa Island. This is by far the best place we have stayed. The small amount of "extras" make all the difference. There are plenty of washing / cleaning supplies, lots of towels, plush beach towels. We are looking forward to returning. Sunset Cottages is perfect for our family. We enjoy the small properties the best. Kim - thank you for your hospitality. It was great and we will be back in a few months!
