Neil and his family have rented the cabin for 4 weeks from mid August to mid September and will return for their third year in 2010. Neil loves the wind surfing and family members often gather around the open fire by the lake in the evening.

20 inch large mouth bass was the highlight

"We had a wonderful week at The Cabin. So relaxing. Our days were filled with kayaking, swimming, cycling, running and lots of reading. The loons were in front most of the time - their calls at night made me smile. The fishing was great! Dad's 20 inch large mouth bass was the highlight of the week (especially his week!) Thank you for everything. We will be back in August 2009." Heidi

Cozy and Relaxed

Owner's note: They came back in 2009 as well for two weeks. They did comment that our photo's do not do the Cabin justise.

What a delightful week!

"What a delightful week! Peaceful, calm and serene are the words that come to mind. The water was refreshing - crystal clear! We appreciated all of the special touches - the videos, the kayaks, the fire pit, the beautiful fireplace, Internet access, etc. Weespecially enjoyed the heron, the bald eagle snatching fish from the lake and the family of loons... Fishing was great! Leaving is the most difficult part. Thanks Week of July 19, 2008

A very special place

"As soon as we drove down the lane and spotted "The Cabin" we knew we were in a very special place for our vacation. Upon entering The Cabin our feelings were confirmed! From the comfy beds, shower and gas stove all of our expectations were exceeded... Catching a fish off the dock while watching a beautiful sunset was fun. After a full day, falling asleep each night to the calls of the loons was the perfect ending to a perfect day. We're looking forward to a "return visit" Dan and Kathy
