We have been staying at An Angel's Dream for four years now and every year we manage to stay a little longer. Our friends ask us if we own a home at St. George. We say, no, but it feels like home. The owners are always helpful and the extras they provide make us feel so welcome. Our dog loves it there, too. The beach is a short walk and the bike/walk path is pleasant and uncrowded. We love having access to bikes, the pool, and the wonderful porches.
The home is always clean and well maintained. There is no shortage of dishes, silverware, glasses, etc. When we cross the bridge to St. George our busy lives melt away for a while and we relax before we even get there knowing the Angel will be waiting for us.

Exceeded Expectations

This was my first experience with VRBO and it was wonderful. Very well maintained property with many extra amenities. Most everything seemed new. We enjoyed eating on the deck, swimming and lounging at the pool, going to the beach and riding bikes. Just need to bring groceries and your bathing suit. It was handy having the new aluminum bikes there on site which beats having to deal with the hassle of renting them. We also liked having the beach chairs, umbrella and wheeled tote for the beach. Had the best pizza ever at BJ's a short drive away. Much thanks to the owners.

This was our second time staying at An Angels Dream. It was wonderful even with all 10 of us. The kitchen has EVERYTHING and this is so helpful.this home is so well stocked that there is very little you have to bring from home. We loved the porches and pool, and it makes it so nice that we could bring our golden along. We will definitely return to this house. Very comfortable furniture for those rainy days inside.

A true Angels Dream

We had a great vacation with oour grandchildren. It was great having the covered pool and the ocean. We would swim in the ocean then go to the pool. Used the bar-b- que grill alot and our daughter Angel just loved the name Angels Dream. She said it was a perfect place for her and our grandchildren to vacation. WE LOVED OUR STAY, IT WAS BETTER THAN WE EVER EXPECTED!!! WE BROUGHT SO MANY THINGS THAT WE DID NOT NEED, BECAUSE IT WAS ALL PROVIDED FOR US. KITCHEN WAS STOCKED WELL, BIKES, CARTS,ETC. WILL DIFFENTLY STAY AGAIN. THE PICTURES DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE. HAVE TO SEE IT IN PERSON! THE OWNERS ARE EXTRA SPECIAL PEOPLE. THEY HELPED WITH ALL OUR QUESTIONS ABOUT THE ISLAND ETC. THEY MADE US FEEL LIKE FAMILY!

Angels Dream

we loved this house. The private location was very nice. The whole house was very welcoming and well stocked. It is definitely a house we will return to. The kitchen had everything one would need which was so nice as we cooked in a lot. Our golden retriever and cocker poo were allowed to go and this was such a special treat for us. St. George Island is very dog friendly. The house was extremely clean and the furniture was comfortable. It is so nice to stay in a place that is so well cared for. It was truly a vacation to stay in such a nice home. We hope to return this year and will plan on renting Angels Dream again. I would give this house a 10 !

Wonderful Week !

Thank you for a wonderful week at your beach house. This has been one of the best houses we have rented. The kitchen had everything you could imagine and since we love to cook it was wonderful.The guys went fishing and we had trout cooked on the grill one night---- doesn't get any better then that !!. Weather was beautiful and the owners were very thoughtful and brought us a wonderful basket of goodies! We had several good lunches at Up Da Creek in Apalach and of course a wonderful Sunday brunch at the Owl Cafe. We will be back and I would recommend this house to anyone. Close to the beach and room for all.

Angels Dream

The house was pretty much exactly what the pictures showed. Everything was clean and worked well. We never had to call the owner for anything as almost everything that we needed was provided for. the beach is just a short 2-3 minute walk away and the pool was very nice to come back to after playing in the gulf. We saw lots of dolphins and a couple of turtle nests. The beds were comfortable and we used the gas grill quite a bit. We had a lot of commuication with the owners prior to coming down for out trip which was very usefull. My wife and I loved the quiteness of the island and the security of being within the gated community. As our kids are all the their 20's, they would probably like an area that had more attractions, but we did enjoy going "into town" for shopping and eating dinner. A new store opened up recently on the island that has a lot of the stables that you will need which saves the longer trip to the main grocery stores across the bay. We would like to go back and stay there again. We had 7 people in our party ranging from 20-55 and the accomodations were great for us. the only drawback is that the whirlpool tubs are very small and we did not make use of them at all.

Awesome!!

We just returned to Kentucky from a two-week stay at An Angel's Dream. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - we typically stay directly on the beach but this house was by far the best we have ever rented on SGI. Very well-equipeped, clean, beautifully decorated and updated TV's (something we have found difficult to find on SGI). We actually looked forward every day to the short walk to the beach - then, jumping in the pool when returning to the house. From the living area and kitchen there are awesome views of the gulf and the bay.

Another rarity is the gas grill at this home - the perfect place to complete a perfect day with a grilled meal.

Thank you to the Longs for pouring so much thought and love in to this home - it is very evident. I would recommend this house to everyone!

An Angel's Dream is an amazing property. We have stayed at several properties at St. George Island but after staying here, we don't find the need to go anywhere else.

The house is very well decorated and stocked. There is no need for you to bring anything with you other than your clothes. The owners even took the time to provide beach gear and bicycles for your use.

The location is perfect with beach views and a two minute walk to the beach. What more could you ask for.........

An Angel's Dream Vacation Home

An Angel's Dream is a very nice place to stay. The house is very comfortable with plenty of room. We enjoyed the screened in porch everynight as we love to cook out. The short walk to the beach was not bad at all. St. George Island is very beautiful and staying in An Angel's Dream completed our wonderful vacation experience.

We have always found An Angel's Dream to be better than well-equipped and the perfect home for our family and friends. The owners have furnished the house with comfortable furniture and any kitchen item you might need. Flowers grace the home and surroundings. The pool is screened and a great place to sit and read or swim when the weather permits. The walk to the beach is easy and the beach is great for our dog. There are games and books for rainy days and a table for puzzles. We love it here and plan to return often.

We have stayed at many homes on St. George Island over the years but found An Angels Dream to be, by far, the most well equipped vacation rental property. The owners went above and beyond to make sure that everything was in order and that we were comfortable. The house is beautifully decorated and has all the comforts of home. The private pool is wonderful as are all the decks/furnishings outside. Would defintely recommend this property to my family and friends and hope to have the opportunity to visit it again.

An Angels Dream is truly a dream. You have every comforts of home without the stress of every day life. Everything was perfect. I usually have a hard time sleeping because of the beds, but not here. They have the best of everything. The beach is a short walk from the house. I loved having my own private pool. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

Absolutely wonderful! I got married at this location and I could not have asked for a more relaxed, private setting. It is so quiet and peaceful there. My husband and I truly enjoyed the week we spent there after our wedding. Unique decorating and very clean. Beds super comfortable and I love the porches right outside the bedrooms! Very close to the beach but honestly we spent most of our time at heated pool there at the house. It was great!

Coming to Angel's Dream every year is like going back to a home away from home. The owners provide so many extras in this well stocked home, all we had to bring is our food and drinks. The short walk to the beach is convenient and the pool is wonderful any season of the year. We have been there with four couples and everyone had plenty of space. Biking the trails, kyaking, walking the beach or sitting on the porch with a good book are equally fun activities.
We can't wait for our next visit!

Three generations of my family stayed at An Angel's Dream for our yearly family beach vacation. We had a wonderful time! The home is beautifully decorated and very clean. The owners provide a lot of extras you wouldn't normally find at rental properties: beach chairs, beach umbrellas, pool toys, adult and children's bikes, coolers, wall-mounted hairdryers in each bathroom. My family made use of them all. There is also a beautiful screened pool that my sons just loved swimming in. The second floor covered deck is a great place to read and relax. Everyone in my family enjoyed themselves!

This EXQUISITE home is everything the owners state in their rental description and SOOOO MUCH MORE! Angel's Dream far exceeded our expectations, and if you think the photos look inviting, just WAIT until you see it in person! The "extras" at Angel's Dream are unbelievable!! -- bring your clothes, food, beach towels (and leave EVERYTHING ELSE at home!) We've stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, but NOTHING compares to Angel's Dream. Deborah & Isaac Lang (homeowners) were wonderful hosts and they went above-&-beyond to make our stay absolutely perfect. The landscaping is beautiful. THE POOL IS FABULOUS!!!! It's a stargazer's, sheller's and birdwatcher's DREAM! Quiet - relaxing - beautiful - comfortable...EVERYthing you could possibly want in a vacation home! I want to thank the Langs for a fantastic first visit to Saint George Island. Our group spanned 4 generations and Angel's Dream afforded each and every one of us a week of memories that will never be forgotten. I will definitely be in touch with Deborah when my daughter gets married -- I can't possibly think of a more perfect place for a wedding. Our sincere thanks to the Langs for a week that was FAR beyond our expectations!

What a wonderful vacation! Stayed here the 4th of July, 2007, and boy oh boy did we bring too much stuff. When they say this place is fully furnished, they mean FULLY FURNISHED! Add to this, the owners suggested a couple that came to the house and prepared a low-country boil dinner for 8 that WAS JUST PHENOMENAL! This is a MUST RENT! The beaches were beautiful, no crowds, lots of fun, and the restaurants!!! Finns has the best seafood gumbo I've ever had! I have nothing but positive things to say about this rental.

St George Island is a wonderful place to take your family for sun, fun, and relaxation. An Angel's Dream is truly a Dream. The home is very accommodating to 10 people; the furnishings are first class and the beds sleep great! There was plenty of parking for our three vehicles and our 22 ft boat. The screened porch is great for dining out by the pool. The decks are great for that early morning coffee. The "extras" (books, games, bicycles) were a very nice addition. One of our best family vacations. We all loved it and will certainly try An Angel's Dream again.

We just returned from spending a week at An Angel's Dream. During this week, our daughter was married on the beach. Deborah (owner) allowed us to have a small reception at the house. With Deborah's help and kindness she helped to make our daughter's dream of an intimate beach wedding a reality - It was PERFECT! I cannot give enough thanks to Deborah. An Angel's Dream is beautifully decorated, well maintained, and has all the accommodations of a well furnished home. The landscaping surrounding the pool and house are spectacular. Along with all the beautiful plants, Deborah also had many flowering potted plants outside of the pool area. We loved the relaxed feel of St. George Island and we loved our stay at An Angel's Dream. We will definitely be returning to An Angel's Dream.

Throughout the years my family has stayed at numerous vacations homes throughout the US and the Caribbean. Angel's Dream proved to be one of our favorites(largely in part to our wonderful hosts). Their special touches and extra amenities are akin to resort type service without resort crowds. The Lang's made us truly feel at home, and we anxiously look forward to returning to this amazing vacation home.

We had a wonderful family vacation at Angel's Dream. This island is the place to go to completely relax. We enjoyed the family time at the beach flying kites, chasing crabs at night and watching the dolphins swim by! The home is beautiful, comfortable and well appointed. My daughther learned to swim solo in the pool and had her first Grouper! I highly recommend staying at Angel's Dream, Deb makes it feel like it is your own home. We will return next year.

Our stay at An Angel's Dream was simply wonderful! Everyone had such a great time. The only negative comment I could make is that our stay didn't last long enough. The house was so clean and sooo beautiful; and I don't think I have ever slept in such a comfortable bed! We enjoyed the shelling and the quiet beach; and the pool was so relaxing. I have such pleasant memories of our stay and hope to come back again some day. We really liked the keyless entry; it is so much more convenient.

Our stay at the "angel" was everything we expected and more. The beautifully decorated home was even better than pictured in the photo ads. The owner has paid special attention to details. We loved the bikes and beach cart. The mattresses were top quality and comfortable. Linens of high quality. All appliances top shelf. Pool was clean and convenient, especially having a screened room. We loved having coffee out on the upper deck in the morning breeze. It's a short walk to the beach.
We highly recommend this vacation! Ps. Try a GREAT dinner at The Owl in Appalachacola.
