We had such a fantastic time, the vacation far exceeded our expectations. It was so clean, I felt so comfortable and was able to relax so easily. I thought the kids would want to go to the beach ever day....We NEVER left the cottage all week! Why would we want to? Everything you could ever want for a fantastic vacation is right there. We are looking forward to our special vacation on the lake this summer!

Vacation at the Lake house in RI

My boyfriend, myself & our puppy had a great stay at the lakehouse! It was probably the most relaxing vacation I/we have had. The house was small but had all amenities needed for a week long stay there. My boyfriends parents stayed a few days with us also. We all already loved Rhode Island and this property is close to many beaches and also to Newport where we spent a day. We didn't even make it to the ocean beaches beacause the serenity of our own private beach on the lake made it hard to leave!
Our puppy learned to swim at the lake. It was so much fun swimming, canoeing & just relaxing on the lake! We want to make it a yearly vacation there.

Great cottage on Indian Lake

This was a wonderful place to stay at. The owner is great to work with and responds quickly. The house was neat and basic... just right for a vacation!
The lake is right outside your back deck and the sunsets are beautiful. The water was clear and warm. The house is located near stores, restaurants and the beaches. The neighbors are even nice and helpful! Being able to bring our dog is wonderful also!
We plan on staying here again!

And the location is central, yet when you are there, you feel like you have gotten away from it all. I agree that the neighbors are wonderful - there if you need them, but non-intrusive. I stayed here with my family a few years ago. We actually came 2 years in a row (so I guess that says something about how much we enjoyed it). The location is wonderful..very quiet...right on the lake...you have your own private beach area, own lil dock and great deck to grill. We spent days fishing on the boat, or just reading on the dock - roasting marshmellows, etc. It was VERY RELAXING. We went down south to Myrtle Beach last year (and this year) to try something new out..and we both realized how much we missed Rhode Island and the Indian Lake Rental. We will be back next year for sure!
