Fantastic stay! Superb customer service. Spacious, comfortable and well maintained. Quiet gated community that is less than 10 minutes away from all of the Helen action. The house is laid out in a way where the kids can have a certain amount of independence downstairs while the adults can relax upstairs. Plenty of rooms, televisions and even a sleeper sofa if necessary. Warning for anyone with challenging knees - the partial kitchen (sink and microwave) is downstairs while full kitchen is upstairs. The street hills are steep (so make sure that if using an older car that its properly prepared) but the roads are comfortably wider than what I've seen in similar neighborhoods. We did spot a fox, raccoon and skunk in the neighborhood but they only came to bother us if we left our trash outside anytime day or night (we were provided a place to dump our trash daily). The attractions were great and reasonably priced. We power-walked our way up the mountain to Anna Ruby Falls ($2/person and wear comfy shoes and clothes!) and it was well worth it. We also enjoyed our walk in Helen even though we had to sit in traffic for longer than expected as we looked for parking. The most exhausting (yet fun) was the $3 tubing trip - the pink tubes with its free parking near the helicopter ride. It helps to wear sturdy water shoes that can handle the slippery rocks and be prepared to get wet as you maneuver the boulders. The tubes did a great job of wearing out the kids. We also used the neighborhood's pool and tennis courts which were in fantastic shape.

Start to finish--this was a wonderful experience. The home was beautiful, spacious and well-maintained. The 4 bathrooms, 2 living areas, 4 bedrooms and the 2 laundry rooms--WOW!!!!! The kiddos loved the hot tub and the pool table. Secluded in the hills, on a beautiful golf course but just minutes to the fun activities of Helen. The owner responded quickly to questions emailed to him and the rental agent was a jewel--kind, friendly and so helpful. We will certainly be back.

What a great house & perfect location! Having 2 living rooms was a plus & 2 washer & dryers was also great! We will be back this fall. Plenty more things to see & do in Helen when we come back.

Racoon crossing

The house was nice and in good condition. The racoons came to visit every night and a bear once. The ride up to it was a little scary because of a couple of steep hills. There was plenty of room for people to sleep. It was great for our family which included almost all age groups. It could use a little updating.
