The cabin was perfect! Just like the pictures in the ad and more. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone interested in a relaxing vacation. We are already thinking about when we can go and stay again. It had all the amentities needed. Worth every penny! Thank you!

My family and I were so pleased with the retreat. The kids loved the loft and the fact they had their own room with twin beds and their own TV to 'hide out' in before bedtime. The gas fireplaces inside and out made it so easy to make smores I think I put on five pounds! ;) The owner was very helpful with making the reservation.
The fishing pond at the golf club turned out to be a surprise hit. My 11 year old pulled out a trout that was over a foot long!
Highly recommended.

Just returned from a 5 night stay here with another couple and our college aged kids. This Home is just fantastic!! the Great room has eveything you could want, Plenty of comfortable seating, gorgeous gas fireplace, soaring ceilings, and Windows everywhere, ALL with great working blinds to stop the sun when you need too. There is a fully equiped kitchen that opens to the Family room, so as folks were cooking, they were still involved with eveyone else. The beds were great, the loft was a nice retreat, and the location on the Golf course was great. We all went out sledding one evening right out off the back deck.
I've rented alot of homes on VRBO, and several in Torreon / Show Low. This one is simply the best. It has all the extra's... Games, electronics, Wi-Fi, and you will walk in and simply say "WOW" we made the right choice.... If you can't decide, go with this one, we will be back again and again !!

MY WIFE AND I PLANNED A TRIP UP TO SHOW LOW AZ TO STAY IN A CABIN BUT IT TURNED OUT TO BE THE MOST AMAZING TWO STORY HOUSE I HAVE EVER STAYED IN. THE HOUSE WAS JUST PERFECT IN EVERY WAY . FROM BEING VERY CLEAN TO WELL DECORATED HOME.THE MASTER BEDROOM WAS GREAT AND THE MB BATHROOM WAS AWESOME ,I WANTED TO STAY FOREVER.THE VIEW FROM THE LIVING ROOM IS THE BEST WITH THE FOOR TO CEILING WINDOWS. WE WILL BE BACK IN THE SUMMERTIME BECAUSE WE WERE THERE IN JANUARY WHEN THEIR WAS SNOW ON THE GROUND AND IT WAS COLD .IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A NICE PLACE TO STAY THIS IS THE PLACE

We stayed at the Torreon Golf and Ski Retreat for the first time, and were very pleased with everything. The house was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It even had saucers we could use to go sledding on the golf course out back. The location is beautiful, as well as the house. It is in a very quiet, nice gated community. Dick was very helpful, and promptly got back to us if anything came up. He made the entire process very easy, and was very pleasant to deal with. We would definitely recommend this location as a nice getaway, and are looking forward to our next stay there!

The accommodations were 5 star. It was the most comfortable mini vacation we have ever had. We had plans to go to dinner on Saturday and ended up snowed in; and we were just as happy to stay in and have dinner if front of the fireplace.

This was the second time we went the Torreon Golf Retreat and it was wonderful again. The home is well maintained and exactly what we expected. It is clean and comfortable. Dick is very accomodating. We would recommend this property to anyone. We have been there twice and will probably be going again.

GREAT WHITE MOUNTAIN GETAWAY

My husband and I rented this lovely home in the beautiful community of Torreon for a week. The home is clean and very comfortable, king size bed is comfy, master bath is spacious with a nice jetted tub and separate walk in shower, kitchen is well equpped for cooking in. We appreciate the use of the washer/dryer and garage; the hot water recirculation pump is a nice feature, you aren't wasting many gallons of water waiting for it to get hot.
We paid the $50 to transfer the golf membership and paid only for the cart rental each time we golfed -what a deal! These 2 private golf courses in Torreon are must play courses.
We have rented in Torreon in the past and have never had a bad meal or bad service at the restaurant. During this stay we again ate at the restaurant and again, the food and service were great. We ate breakfast at the local JB's and were very disappointed with both the service and food.
We met the owner, Dick, who is very easy to work with and helpful in answering questions and concerns. A previous renter's comment recommended a larger TV be put in the master bedroom, which Dick did while my husband and I were there.
Thank you Dick and Deb for sharing your home with us, we hope to be back.

We really had a wonderful stay at the house in Torreon. The home was roomy and the location could not have been better forus. Having the opportunity to have and use a temporary club membership was just great!

Stayed with our family in July. We spent the $50 to transfer the golf membership to our name--a VERY worthwhile expense. The kids very much enjoyed the large pool and the hot tub, and the golf course is lush and beautiful. Skip the restaurants at Torreon, though; they are always as disappointment. The house itself was great, and we definitely appreciated the air conditioning. If light in the morning bothers you, be sure to bring blindfolds for whoever is sleeping in the master bedroom.

We recently stayed at the rental in Torreon and it was excellent. We had 4 adults and 2 children and had plenty of space and rooms for all. We enjoyed sitting out on the back deck and using the grill to make dinner as it was quiet and peaceful. It was just the relaxing vacation we were looking forward to. It also helped that the weather was fantastic and a welcome relief from the heat in southern Arizona. I would highly recommend staying here and would gladly do so myself again.

We are very happy we got to rent this property, it has everything a family needs to have a great gateway and much more, with so many indoors and outdoors amenities, excellent condition, family environment and adorable decoration, make our stay even better than we planned. We will be back for sure at any moment, and highly recommend to everyone who is looking for a quite place, nature, and comfort. From just a couple to a big group of people. This property won´t let you down.

Our Torreon Cabin stay was wonderful. The cabin itself exceeded our expectations; very large yet very cozy. The location is convenient to many creature comforts yet gives the impression that you are in a cabin deep in the woods. Very professional operation and transactions with owner.

We took our 3 sons, 2 future daughters-in-law and two friends with us and we enjoyed every second of this luxurious beautiful cabin. The floor to ceiling windows, the sound system through out the home, the decor, fireplace, comfy furniture!! I could go on and on. We had a wonderful time and it exceeded all our expectations.

We recently stayed for a weekend, and were beyond impressed with the properity. It was spacious, clean, beautiful, and had every amenity we could ask for. We especially enjoyed the large kitchen and surround sound speakers. We were fairly snowed in, but the house was large enough that it was a pleasure to be inside for the weekend. In addition, the owner was incredibly helpful throughout the process. I would highly recommend this place, and look forward to visiting it again personally in the future.

We took a party of 7 adults and 3 children to this cabin over the Thanksgiving holiday. We all fit comfortably and had a wonderful time. Master bedroom is large and the other bedrooms were good size. Nice big kitchen helped make the holiday cooking easy. Rent this home,
you won't regret it!

This is a very comfortable, clean , and quiet home in beautiful Torreon. The owner is very accommodating and easy to work with. The only suggestion, which is quite minor, is to add a larger television to the master bedroom. The master bedroom is very large and even with my glasses I had some trouble viewing the television from the bed. Other than that , this a wonderful place for a getaway.

Dick Stamp's Torreon Retreat exceeded our family's expectaions. The 3 bedroom home has a great location in Torreon, and is close to all of the Resort's anemities, including swimming pool, excercize facility, golf clubhouse and tennis courts. The home's two levels allowed our family to spread out and enjoy our "private time" when needed during our 7 night stay. The master bedroom is very large with a great ensuite. The other two bedrooms, on the upper level share a bathroom and have their own TV with Direct TV service. Wireless internet connection worked throughout the property. Dick was very accomodating with my requests and questions prior to booking. I would recommend this property without hesitation, and we will certainly return on our next visit to Torreon.

Just completed a 1 week stay with family of 4 and grandparents. Beautiful/clean home in a quiet cul de sac backing up to the 17th green. Plenty of room(s) and very comfortable for the entire family. Especially enjoyed the stereo spreakers throughout the home, the BBQ, and the outside patio w/fireplace. Took advantage of family golf membership. 36 holes of A+ golf. Kids enjoyed the activity center/playground/tennis. Bring your bikes. Safeway supermarket only 10 minutes away.
Look forward to staying here next year.

This is such a beautiful home! Well organized and had everything we needed, it was great to be able to eat in and enjoy the quiet. It was a little hard to find at first, but getting back to it after that was no problem. The bed was so comfortable and everything was very clean. The Torreon Cabin was beautiful. It is well maintained, beautifully decorated, cozy and modern at the same time. The golf-course location was great, it was so pretty covered in snow. This is a fantastic neighborhood, we have stayed in several cabins in the area. This cabin was perfect for our family of five, there were even some books and games for the children to use. The kitchen was well-equipped, just bring your food and you can cook gourmet meals and avoid going out for every meal. No cold toes, the heat worked great and the fireplace with remote couldn't have been more inviting after hours of sledding on nearby hills. Owners were easy to communicate with, as well. Love, love, love the White Mountains, and look forward to returning soon!

The pictures of the place don't do it justice. Rented the cabin for the weekend and had a blast. The owners are very accommodating and we love the location. Would recommend the property to anyone looking to get out of the Phoenix heat. Only small draw back is the size of the TV in the second bedroom ('12 - could use a new one) and there wasn't a TV/Cable in the third bedroom - we had four kids and they didn't always agree on what to watch at night.

My family and I chose to spend Thanksgiving in the White Mountains and are so happy we decided to stay at this home in the Torreon community. The owners were wonderful and gave us so much information about their home and the area. When we arrived we taken aback by how beautiful, open, and spacious the home is. Although the photos are very accurate it does not do the home justice. It easily accommodated the 6 of us. Since we were cooking Thanksgiving dinner in the home we had a small bit of concern that the house would not have all of the cooking utensils needed. The concern was not necessary; the kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and the dining room table made a lovely setting for the Thanksgiving meal. We walked through the community daily and enjoyed looking at the beautiful homes. My family and I are very much looking forward to going back to Torreon.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay in this beautiful and comfortable home. The views are great all around--from the upper balcony, back patio, and front porch. It is in a private, gated setting with all the amenities of the Torreon country club!
