My family of (5) rented this beautiful home over the Christmas holidays. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised at the amount of effort that Ken went thru to decorate the home (right down to a Christmas tree). We really appreciate it. The house is easily accessible to all amenities, very clean, and well maintained (pictures posted are exactly as shown). The pinball machine and pool table were added entertainment, which brought out the competitiveness in us. What we miss the most is watching the beautiful sunsets over the lake. Looking forward to our next visit.

Wonderful Place to Relax

We had a big group 6 adults and 3 kids and we did not feel crowded in this house at all. There was plenty of room for everyone inside and out. We had a wonderful time from the time we entered the home until the time we left. The home was spotless and it just felt welcoming. Everything was provided from towels to paper products to soaps, etc. Fred and his wife really thought of everything. We had such a wonderful time and would definately recommend it and we hope to come back.

I would not hesitate to rent this property again. This home is beautiful and it's better than the pictures show.

My wife and I have rented Fred & Karen's "Lake House" for the past 3 years -- and hope to stay there many more times in future years. The home is really spectacular -- with beautiful lake views from almost every window. Our favorite area is the 'great room/kitchen/lanai-pool area." It really makes you feel like you're in a tropical area -- enjoying all that the warm weather has to offer. This home is a 10+
--- and we highly recommend it to anyone that is looking to rent a home in the Tampa area.

First class home!!

We stayed here in September 2011, as a family of 5, and found everything to be superb. We all had a fantastic time and would happily return to this home. The location on the waterfront is excellent and very private. Perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Photos of this home cannot do it justice it was extremely comfortable and more than met our expectations.
The property was very clean and well equipped for all eventualities.
We would all highly recommend this home.

Spectacular Home

This house is gorgeous. The home is overlooking Lake Tarpon. We saw alligators and many birds that perched on or near the dock outside the fenced in lanai. There were moorhens, with babies, a green heron, egrets, ospreys, etc, There were little anole lizards outside and hanging around on the lanai screen that were so cool!

The lanai has a beautiful built in swimming pool that isn't huge, but plenty of room for my 4 sisters and I to swim and relax in all day long. There's a bar outside with a sink and a small fridge. Plenty of nice comfortable seating.

The house itself is large and airy. The beds are super comfortable. The kitchen is nicely stocked with the staples. There's 2 coffee makers, one being a single serve Keurig, which is really nice to have in a rental property.

My sisters and I have been going on an annual vacation for more than 12 years now and this is by far the best vacation home we have rented and the price is really reasonable for what is provided.

The owner, Fred, is really wonderful to work with as well. He was so nice to answer all of my questions and was very informative.

This home will not disappoint you!!

Beautiful home in great location. Easily accessible to restaurants,shopping and attractions. Home is open, airy and as beautiful as the pictures. Great location on the lake. Pool is lovely and just big enough. Home was more fully stocked than I expected and very comfortable for our group of 7. Our kids loved the pool table and pin ball machine. They played every night, as did the adults. Sponge docks are a short drive away. Hellas is a must for Greek food. Would certainly go back and would recommend to anyone. Have a great time!

Lake Front Privacy

Open and airy. Great location assures peace and quiet, yet minutes to Highways for sight seeing adventures to Sarasota, St. Petersburg, Tampa, Clearwater, etc. Nearby "Honeymoon Beach" is a must...take an entire day to explore/relax.

WE RENTED THIS HOME FOR A WEEK WHEN MY BROTHER GOT MARRIED IN CLEARWATER! GROWING UP IN PALM HARBOR I ALREADY KNEW THE AREA. I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED WHEN WE ENTEREDT HE HOME! IT IS UNBELIEVABLE GORGEOUS! IT HAD EVERYTHING THAT WE NEEDED TO HAVE A GREAT TIME, WE EVEN HOSTED THE REHEARSAL DINNER.
WE PLAN TO STAY HERE EVERY SUMMER FROM NOW ON.

Our Christmas Stay

We so enjoyed having this beautiful lake home for the week at Lake Tarpon, Palm Harbor, FL. The house was so well appointed and not lacking anything for our week long stay with our family. Great kitchen, great outdoor area and the owner even pampered us with holiday decorations inside and out!

We would look forward to another stay. If you have the opportunity, rent this home for at least a week. The views, sunsets and amenities are perfect for relaxing and enjoying your family.

Wonderful Home

My parents rented this home for the week of Christmas ( 09 ) and we were all in awe of how extremely clean and beautiful this home was !

We had a blast with the pool table and the pinball machine and the kitchen was a delight to cook in . We enjoyed the lanai and the views of Lake Tarpon were great ( we even had a brief sighting of one of the many otters that inhabit the lake in the canal next to the house ) .

This is a huge house and it held many people for sleeping , partying and eating ! I would definitely recommend this home and hope that in the future , if my parents decide to do this again that they keep this house on their renting list !!!
