I keep coming back to this sweet home on Shoreline Park. It is like a window on the world, with the buzz of activity on Shoreline Park and views of the ocean right across the street. The house is clean and cozy, filled with light. We love sitting in the hot tub under the stars!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, pet-friendly, sight seeing, romantic getaway

A wonderful week

This pet-friendly cottage suited us perfectly. It was very clean and nicely equipped and the always-on hot tub proved most attractive. The front view over Shoreline park and ocean was great. The fenced yard was good for dogs, complete with poop scoop and a H/C shower. Shoreline park was always full of dogs - leashed - and at low tide, the undeveloped beach below provided miles of off-leash fun. And our young grandkids loved the tidepools there. Not to mention the Zoo, the official off-leash beach and wonderful dog-friendly Eling park, all nearby. Bikes, games and other kid stuff in the garage.
We found good restaurants nearby on the Mesa, especially Meun Fan Thai - lunch and takeout. Handy if you don't want the hassle of downtown parking.
Only a couple of very minor suggestions: The flat screen TV would be easier to view from most of the lounge if it were mounted on a swivel arm, not flat to the wall; and darker drapes, or pull-down blinds behind the thin white drapes, would avoid guests being woken at the crack of dawn. Not much of a problem in April, but in midsummer we'd bring eye masks.
We would certainly recommend the property which the whole family liked, and hope to rent it again.

Our stay at the Oceanview house during February was a very pleasant experience. The property both inside and out was in excellent condition. The kitchen was well equipped and the pantry and frig were stocked with some very nice "goodies." The rooftop deck is a great late afternoon site for a glass of wine and a spectacular ocean view. Shoreline Park across the street is good for daily walks and State Street shopping and dining are close bye. Hope we can return again sometime.

We’ve had a fantastic stay in Santa Barbara and have enjoyed many wonderful meals and the great views from the rooftop terrace. We hope to be able to return sometime soon! Thanks for the welcome basket!

We want to live here!! We love, love, love it! Every morning we walked to Shoreline for delicious breakfasts, watched the beginner surfers- what a way to start the day! Our pug Charlie met several other pugs and enjoyed the long walks. All in all a perfect start for my husband’s 49th year!

Our five week stay here was very nice. The view is wonderful and Shoreline Park is a great place to walk.. Very convenient location and well-equipped. The “welcome basket” was a nice touch.

We had a wonderful week in your lovely home. The nearby teeny tiny surf break was perfect for our 9 year old daughter. Your outdoor shower was a real plus in dealing with sand and wetsuits! We would love to come back sometime and hope you keep renting your beautiful property.

We really had a wonderful stay here. The house the environment are really wonderful.
We enjoyed it so much.
