We enjoyed our stay so much that we are planning on coming back and have been reccomending this place to our friends and family. Everythin you need is here. The lake is wonderful for children at every age. We had two families and plenty of space. The lake was so peaceful and my son discovered fishing! Cannot wait to return. Lots of things to de around the area too.

This cottage is beautiful and very clean, and the lake is beautiful. We really enjoyed everything about the cottage. The decription of the cottage was completely accurate. You don't need to bring anything but your clothes, everything was provided for you. There is a local grocery store that you can do all your shopping once you get there. My family would highly recommend this property to everyone. There are a lot of places to see around this area. We enjoyed going to Lake Michigan in Grand Haven, and one day we ventured out to Holland, Saugatuk, those are nice cities.
The cottage was very large but also cozy.

Owners response: We strive to give you the ultimate lakefront vacation!

Our vacation

We arrived from Pennsylvania and were pleasantly surprised by the cleaniness of the place. Our family was driving from SouthDakota and arrived a few hours later. They too could not believe the house and view.
The kids just loved running out back and right into the water.
Our week was a little overcast but again the lids were not bothered at all.
We would definitely look into coming back in the future.

Great weekend on the lake!

In May, 2009, we had a great family get away at Kathy's wonderful house on Twin Lake. The home has a great view of the lake from the large upper deck. The kitchen is very well stocked, right down to a full rack of seasonings. The house is very clean and the furnishings in good condition. The beds we used were comfortable, although we didn't use the master bed, as we put our grandson's crib in there. We took the pedal boat and row boat out and really enjoyed the lake.

Stayed Memorial Day week 2008 for a family get together - 4 generations. The property was well stocked, clean and had a great location and beach. The hot water was not turned on when we arrived. We called the owners and within a few hours someone was there to turn it on. Thought the converted 2nd bedroom on the main floor was a little funny. There is a bunk bed but no room for someone to sleep on the bottom without constantly wacking their head. The beach was great for the two little ones with us as the sand is nice and the water is clear and shallow. The entertainment room downstairs was nice for evening and rainy days. FYI- this side of the lake gets VERY windy.

Owners response: Bunk Beds are a great sleeping area for kids, and yes adults may bump their head if they are not careful. Our side of the lake usually has a beautiful breeze, I think you had a exceptional week with the wind during your stay. Thanks for the comments!

Our family had a great time at Twin Lake. The house was beautiful, clean and well-stocked. We hope to be able to return there in the future. We had fun days when we spent the whole day at the house and other days where we enjoyed the many things to do in the local area. The owners let us know about area attractions which was helpful. Our family enjoys playing tennis and found courts close enough to walk to that were never busy which was one thing that hadn't been listed as something to do in the area. We had a great vacation there!

We rented the property the first week in July and had a FANTASTIC time. The house is beautiful and very well stocked. The lake was wonderful, the neighbors fantastic and there is plenty to do all close. We visited Lake Michigan, played golf, miniture golf, and visited a light house. It was the best family vacation we have had in years! We plan to return.
