High School Graduation/ Family Reunion

This event turned out to be one of the best times of my life it was so perfect. I needed a gathering place for people who were coming as far as Arkansas and Texas. Some family came from out of town in Wi and friends from Madison. It was great having everyone together in one place but the barn topped it all off. They provided everything you needed as if you were at home. All you needed to bring was food and toiletries. The barn had so much space for everyone. Great gathering places and nooks to be off on your own. The place was great for kids to explore. There were also bedrooms on the ground floor for people who could not climb steps well. Looking at the pictures on this site doesn't even do it justice. There is so much more. Everyone who came didn't want to leave. The caretaker Marty was great-explained everything you needed to know. My only suggestion is to have people map out how to get there before coming because cell phone reception is not good and not everyone's GPS gets you there correctly. This was an awesome place to spend time with Family.

More than we wished for!

We had family from the West and East coast who had never been to the midwest and they are still talking about how fun, roomy and what fantastic location highlighting the beauty of the Wisconsin rolling hills. The Red Barn will be considered again for a family reunion. The Barn was an absolute delight with more than ample space.

Winter stay

Review submitted: January 11, 2010   Date of arrival: January 11, 2009

Hi, Ginny--I just wanted to drop you a line to say what a wonderful time we had at the Red Barn, from the barn itself to snowy walks in the woods to some truly epic snowball fights. Thank you so much for letting us stay there. (and as an aside, Marty might be the most considerate caretaker ever... he not only showed us around, but he brought in firewood, stoked the fire and generally made us feel very welcome.)
