Great Time
Review submitted: June 6, 2012 Date of arrival: June 1, 2012
Hi Jan,
We want to thank you for welcoming us into your home this past weekend. The house was everything we had hoped for and we filled it with laughter and great memories. We got a quick hike in Saturday morning before the rain came for the rest of the day. At a campsite that may have brought us down, but in your lovely home we were able to play board games (lots of them!), a ping pong tournament, poker, and bake birthday cupcakes to celebrate ten years of being together as a group of families.
Thank you again! Our families are now converts from group camping to living it up in a communal home. We look forward to our annual trip. Do you own other homes as well? Next year we'll have 7 families (29 people!).
Sincerely,
Leha

Easy ski in and out
Review submitted: January 30, 2012 Date of arrival: January 17, 2012
Celebrated my 50th birthday at Warriors Retreat in January with a group of friends and really enjoyed our stay. The house easily accomodated a large group of adults. The layout and design of the home provided spaciousness for gathering as well as privacy when desired. The house is nicely appointed and very comfortable. The bedrooms alone are nicer than many hotel rooms you can rent in Breckenridge. We were pleasantly surprised at how easy the ski-in/ski-out aspect was for the property.

Our family stayed at Warrior Retreat from 12/26- 1 / 2/12. We numbered 7 adults and 6 children. To say the least, the house was fantastic and provided ample room for all. The master suite is huge and situated so that the patter of excited feet at 6am did not disturb us. The formal living room, with gorgeous mountain views, was frequented by the big people and the den down stairs was perfect for the little ones. The dining area accommodated all of us! After a day of skiing, the

Loved It
Review submitted: September 8, 2011 Date of arrival: August 25, 2011
We loved the great hiking and walking directly from the house that you recommended, by the way. You can see by the attached pictures that all ages enjoyed that time.
Thanks again for sharing your great home to help us bring to fruition a perfect getaway for our family of all ages.
The only complaint….we should of stayed longer.

We knew we were renting a great house for the first annual 'Wheeling In The Rockies' ski trip, yet we were still pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Warrior's Mark. The house was plenty big enough for our group of about 20 with 2 big areas to congregate in.

Warrior Retreat
Review submitted: April 12, 2010 Date of arrival: December 21, 2009
Jan--We had a wonderful 4 days at your home in Breckenridge. We feel very fortunate that we chose your house for our family vacation. We liked that big dining room table that sat 10 + 2 high chairs. The large bedrooms let the children sleep undisturbed at their ownschedules for naps and early to bed times. The 3&4 year olds played hide and seek endlessly. There were enough dishes and cooking pots andutinsels. We watched your downstairs TV and sat in the living room to play a family game. The children gathered pine cones and picked wild flowers. We all had tears in our eyes when we left one another and your house. Thanks for making it such agood time for all of us.

We stayed in Warrior's Retreat the second week in August. it very comfortably fit the 10 adults and 7 children in our family. The internet pictures do not do it justice. The single aero bed stored in the office worked out great. So many bath and cleaning products are provided also including spices and many towels. The wireless network was great. The kids loved the "Kids Zone" and the hot tub. There are plenty of pots, pans and dishes. It was very clean, the maintenance dept. was very responsive and arranged for us to get in earlier than the 4:00 scheduled time. We went horseback riding, ripple float, the water park in town and a mine tour, as well as hiking and shopping. I would recommend this property to others. My only recommendation would be that the linens are somewhat old and the mattresses are old too. Also if a pack and play and child seat were provided it would be perfect for all sorts of families.
Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway
Owners response: Thanks for your review. We recently got brand new linens and deluxe mattress pads for all the beds.
