Seahawk Saturday and Kure Beach

I brought my girls (all five of them) to visit the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. We were able to share your home and it was a wonderful experience. The girls were able to be together (yeah bunk beds!) and I was able to have peace and quiet in my room. The home is beautiful and it is so easy to feel like you are at home. The girls were able to walk to the beach and have some time away from the stresses of school. The game cabinet was a big hit! Local restaurants finished out the experience. Thanks for letting us share your home this weekend. We hope to be back again.

Coming all the way from Canada we could not have asked for a better house to stay at or a better couple to rent from then Walter and Lois! The house is very warm and inviting and has everything you could possibly want in a vacation home, we will definetly be back again. AWESOME!

Great Vacation Location

Easy walk to the beach. Wonderful extras included: bikes, beach cart & chairs. Comfortable arrangements for 8 people. Plenty of activities to entertain 4 teenagers, but also relaxing for the adults.
Beautiful home, very clean and well supplied with necessities. We hope to stay again.

Spring Break

Our family loved this house! It was very clean and so comfortable. The local activities (Fort Fisher, the Aquarium, Basin Trail Hike, etc...) were all so close by! The beach wasn't crowded and a short and easy walk. We can't wait to go back :)

Can't Wait To Go Back!!

My family and I stayed at this house for a week in July, 2011. It was a wonderful vacation! Kure Beach was beautiful and not too crowded at all which is something that was important to me as I really just wanted to relax on the beach. I'm not too fond of overly crowded places and this was perfect! We went to the aquarium, went on a ferry ride to South Port, went to Carolina Beach and enjoyed shopping and the carnival rides for the kids, enjoyed restaurants and fishing on the pier (I loved watching the pelicans on the pier).....and all of these things are such a short distance from the house.
The house was beautiful.....although the pictures you see on the website are accurate, they still don't do it justice as they are only photographs. It was very clean which made it perfect right from the beginning. It had a comfortable, homey feel to it and the porch was my favorite place of all because I could see the ocean. The kitchen had everything we needed and more as did the entire house. The listing is very accurate and the owners do go out of their way with added touches to make it very accomadating and a wonderful vacation house.
I would reccomend this house to anyone and everyone only if my reservation was secured first! :)
If you google Kure Beach webcam you can see live views from the pier and beach. We called family while on the pier and had them do that while we waved to them which was fun! I watched the webcam often before we left for vacation but find myself doing it even more now that I'm back home in Ohio and wishing I could go back!!

My family and my sisters' family stayed for the week in this vacation home. It was great. It was completely furnished. The downstairs neighbors were friendly, as were all the others we talked to in Kure Beach. We really enjoyed ourselves. It was the first time that we have been to that beach. Its really quiet and clean beach. We would definitely rent again down there.

Simply Amazing.

From the moment I walked in the door I was at awe with this rental. I've rented all up and down Kure Beach and this by far is the nicest. The beach is just a short walk away (by short walk I mean short). The aquarium is right down the road and the pier is just a short drive away. I can not brag enough on this rental. I would recommend it to anyone just wanting to go on a nice, relaxing vacation.
