The property was clean, the location was beautiful and oh so relaxing. The photos are a true depiction of where you will be staying. There was just the perfect amount of space. Brent provided everything that we needed and even asked if we had any recommendations of ways he could make things better. We have recommended the property to many of our friends. The views are are gorgeous.

AMAZING DEAL

My wife and I stayed here recently for our honeymoon. This is a beautiful place to go. We even decided to stay another night once we got there. If you are looking for a nice place with a beautiful view where you can watch the sunset, this is where you need to be. Also a great drive thru safari nearby.

Thank you so much for a wonderful place to stay ! The information you gave us on Pantoon Rental as awesome. It is so peaceful and relaxing here. We had everything we needed, and then some. The people here are so friendly and helpful. The wine was excellent especially after a long ride. I spent most of my time on the balcony relaxing while my Hubby enjoyed feeding the large catfish. We would love to come back again in the fall to see the leaves change. THIS BEATS THE FLORIDA KEYS 100 TIMES OVER !

WOW ! What a Valentine's gift !

What can I say about Kiser Island in February ! Two sweet hearts and two blankets lying in the hammock under the stars was the perfect Valentine's gift. Thank you for sharing a piece of paradise with us. The Valentine's cake was also a thoughtful surprise. This was truly the best Valentine's gift from my Soul-Mate. We will no doubt be coming back to Gilligan's Island Getaway. It is the perfect Peaceful, Quiet, Private, and Romantic place for any special occasion.

Exceptional Value

It is clear that the owner of the "Island Honeymoon Getaway" has taken great pains to make his retreat an exceptional value. After booking this property for the first time last January (for my husband's birthday) we decided to come back again this year (January 2011) as nothing else seemed like it could possibly match up for the price. The sunsets are really outstanding and the owner goes out of his way to accommodate any special requests. Two Thumbs Up!

All we can say is... Wow! We were already familiar with Lake Norman, but feel like we have found paradise! This cozy retreat is truly a bit of heaven. We hope to make this a regular destination. We needed some R&R and felt like we got it at Brent's Getaway. Can't thank you enough!

We enjoyed our stay here so much we plan on coming back. It felt like being at home with the exception of the beautiful area, sunsets, lake, and the house itself. There is so much to do in the area if you wanted or it was nice and peaceful to relax on the lake. I recommend you stay here after the great experience we had. We don't ever want to stay in another motel/hotel again after staying here for a week!

3 Lovely Nights

We had an absolute ball ! The condo was perfect and beautiful, but the backyard was breathtakingly beautiful. I haven't enjoyed many sunsets as wonderful as the ones we saw here. The trees, the perfect lawn and your good-natured acceptance of us all meant the world to us. Once I met you I totally relaxed. You made us all feel so welcomed. Thanks for a perfect weekend ! We will be back !

Looking Forward to Our Return Visit

Kathy and I were married here in August 2008 and we have looked forward to returning to Kiser Island. The 4th was wonderful here - fireworks on the water and great food and good times at The Landing! It was so romantic and relaxing swimming off the dock and laying in the sun. We'll be looking forward now to our next visit!

Our Home Away From Home

We love staying at the condo in this house! This is a beautiful property with an amazing view...sunset over Lake Norman is breath taking! We are in the area Mondays thru Thursdays and have stayed for several weeks, we are as comfortable there, as in our own home. We travel alot and usually stay in hotels. We are so spoiled staying in the condo, it will be hard to ever go back to the impersonal stay in a hotel. The location is great, quiet and the people on the island are very kind. We look forward to our next visit and would recommend it to anyone! Judy & Jim, Jacksonville, Florida

Paradise Found!

WOW! It was absolutely the most relaxing vacation rental we have ever experienced - It is secluded in feel, but not far from all of the conveniences one could want. We found this Island Getaway about a week before leaving Central Florida for a weeks vacation in North Carolina.

From the beauty of the setting sun on the evening we arrived to the cool of the morning on the deck when we woke up it was the perfect getaway. Nothing lacking inside either. We were able to stock the fridge with all of our favorites and enjoy relaxing evenings in the living room.

Great place! A piece of paradise found!

Great Views and Great Get Away

What a hidden treasure! We spent a week relaxing with a 180 degree view of Lake Norman. The western facing balcony gave us a spectacular and different sunset every night or we would just go down to the owners boat dock with wine for a closer view. The owner provided true southern hospitality to our visit as well. The location is very central to local sites and day trips. We visited the Biltmore Estate, NASCAR Hall of Fame, Old Salem as well as renting a boat to enjoy the lake. This house rental is the perfect romantic getaway. "Two thumbs up!"
