The owner, while nice most of the time, is not very responsive. The home may have potential but was not ready for rental. Much work is needed. The interior is newer but there are no finishing touches; miss matched sheets, no headboards, old towels, wires hanging, etc. The pool and hot tub area are poorly maintained, weeds growing in the brick pavers, dead plants, etc. The hot tub may be new to this home but it is not new and could use a good cleaning. The neighborhood is sub-par, lots of garbage around, run down area, neighbors out late making noise/foul language (not sure if they were also renters or residents). We made the best of it, we didn't really have another option once we paid and arrived. It is close to beaches, shopping and good restaurants. I would ask for recent pictures. I'm sure the owner is planning on working on this house and may have good intentions but this was not ready for rental.

Pictures don't do it justice

The pictures don't do this place justice. It is very roomy and comfortable. This area is excellent for divers, with several reefs within swimming distance. The house is a few blocks from the beach, so you will need to drive or use one of the provided bicycles (tip for cheap skates - you can drop the family off in the car and bike back to the beach to save $10 in parking). I thought the house was much better looking in person than in the pictures. The neighbors were also very nice. Some of the furniture was a little worn and some spots on the tile floor need re-grouting or I would have given 5 stars (when I give 5 stars it has to really be 5 star - i.e. perfect). The diving was amazing. We spent so much time at the beach that we did not enjoy the pool and hot tub as much as I would have liked, but there is always next time. I would certainly stay here again.

Perfect!!

This was a family vacation with our children, their spouses, and our grandkids. The home was perfect and the 11 of us had plenty of room. What we saw in the pictures is what we got. The heated pool was wonderful and the fence was very kid secure. The view of the intercoastal and the boats going by was great. The beach was an easy walk and nobody complained. All the kids said we rented the perfect house. Also, the grocery store was a short walk and the kithen had everything you would need. There were also some great eateries close by...Houstons and Pirhana Pats.

Great Vacation

We have rented homes on spring break for the past few years.
This house is clearly one of the best rentals.
It was so clean and believe me that has not always been the case with past vacation rentals.
Your pool area made us feel like we were in complete paradise! ......
Our kids loved the heated pool and never left the HotTub
Your place has stole our hearts for the Atlantic side! Wow we had the best time.
My kids used the bikes that are at the property. They also loved the pool table and my older son finally beat his Dad the last night of our trip!

Your home is way more than we expected.

When we came to visit my husband was needing the break badly, All he wanted was a quiet, relaxing time and your home/pool area gave him that.
Thank you very much for such a great vacation!

Fantastic Beach Vacation

This property has amazing water views , one of the best backyards for watching the boats go by. We saw amazing fish from the backyard and my kids loved the pool area. The inside of this large roomy house is beautiful and has all the amenities and much much more!
My only complaint was we could not stay longer !

2010 vacation

Great place to stay! Beautiful views and plenty of room. Everything was like the pictures if not better. I will stay there again but only had one issue....the master bedroom stayed hot and the rest of the house was cold, that would be the only complaint. After spending all day outside in the Florida heat, you want to go get in a nice cool bed but instead you kick the fan on high and sleep outside the blankets.
