Your house is in the perfect location - a beautiful, private, quiet cove with a path down to a rocky beach and sand dune at low tide - perfect for kayaking and exploring. My husband, dogs and I felt like we were in our own little paradise and loved eating and relaxing in the beautiful screened porch.

I love to cook, so I really appreciated that the kitchen was so well equipped. (Other rentals I have stayed in have paled in comparison in this regard). I also really appreciated how clean and neat everything was. The house and yard are obviously maintained with loving care and attention.

We could not have asked for better and are planning to return!

Thank you! Thank you!

Lovely Spirit

Review submitted: February 3, 2012   Date of arrival: October 11, 2011

This 'cottage' is home to such a lovely spirit...we felt sheltered and cared for in every way!! Combing the beach with grandsons--such excitement! Loved Pt. Lookout, schooner outing, Owl's Head Lighthouse, Birch Point State Beach and simply being at the 'cottage by the sea.'

Everything Blueberry

Loved our visit and your beautiful house. The lobster outside of Acadia Park was the best ever. Loved visiting Monhegan Island, hiking in Camden Hills, strolling in Camden, visiting the Farnsworth Museum and the Olsen House.

We enjoyed cooking in the Paradise Cottage kitchen...even plucked our own mussels right off the shore. Loved going down to the water at low tide and sitting on the screened in porch at this beautiful view. What a great retreat!

Wow. This place is truly home-away-from-home. First, it's a great location: right on the ocean, midway between Camden and Belfast. Second, it's perfect size for a couple (or two) or small family. Third, it's well designed, furnished and appointed. It was terrific to watch the weather or the tides change on the screened-in back porch. We found great places to eat in nearby Camden or Lincolnville. We relaxed, read, slept, cooked, played games in the comfortable porch or living room. We couldn't have been happier for our week. The owners asked about our comfort and whether we needed anything. It was terrific. We plan on coming back.

A Lovely Memory

Review submitted: December 31, 2010   Date of arrival: October 9, 2010

We felt so comfortable from the moment we opened the door. We loved strolling through downtown Camden, poking around antique stores, visiting light houses and Ft. Knox Observatory, and combing beach in front of Paradise Cottage for sea treasures...Thank you for such a lovely memory.

Up to Our Necks

Review submitted: December 31, 2010   Date of arrival: August 28, 2010

We love coming here. It gives us time to reflect at summer's end...sitting on rocks at the beach with water up to our necks watching the birds and the boats sail by.

Cultural Events

Review submitted: December 31, 2010   Date of arrival: August 7, 2010

Enjoyed all the area concerts and cultural events--Bay Concert Series and Godspell in Camden were wonderful. The Heron Schooner out of Rockport is the best area water/boat outing. Mt. Battie and Camden State Park are super for hiking and views. We loved just sitting and reading on the porch with its lovely view...extra special stay to have your TLC in every way. Many thanks!

Charming and Comfortable Home

Review submitted: December 31, 2010   Date of arrival: June 26, 2010

We had a wonderful week in your charming and comfortable home. My favorite memory will be laying on the porch couch at 4:30 a.m., book in hand. Even in the rain, the porch was always lovely.
