A very beautiful home! It was very clean and seemed brand new! Wonderful neighborhood and only minutes walking to the beach! House is decorated extremely well and is so comfortable! Master bedroom and closet space is way more than you could ever need! All bedrooms are roomy and comfortable! Closet space in all bedrooms were huge which is unreal for a vacation home. Beautiful, open kitchen with large dining area for Thanksgiving! Every convenience imaginable was put into this house! Doors on the tv room, chairs & cushions on the multiple decks, elevator, ice machine, ping pong, bikes, beach chairs & beach stuff, wi-fi and ipod player and a huge washer & dryer, pool across the street!! This house is simply perfect! Thank you for sharing your home with us! We hope to come again sometime during the summer months!
Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

Family vacation

We enjoyed coffee on the front porch, nightly bike rides, and sunsets from the crow's nest. This house is comfy. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Everyone had a great time. We love that you guys include everything that we need-- and you thought of everything! So nice to not to have to bring sheets and towels since we flew out here. The open living area is a great place for everyone to gather. Nice, quiet street and cozy beds made for a good night's sleep. And we loved making use of the bikes! We hope to come back!

Family Reunion

We enjoyed the friendly neighbors. Freddies has superb food, cozy atmosphere, but reservations are a MUST! Favorite moments: watching fireworks from the widow's peak, seeing three deer near the pond under a full moon-- magical! Fabulous accommodations! We especially liked the layout of the house, which allows everyone to have their own sleeping preferences without distraction. We really loved the front porch and the rocking chairs!

Beach wedding

We toured the USS North Carolina and Fort Fisher. We recommend the Ocean Grill and Tangerines. We enjoyed hanging out on the decks. Beautiful beach, beautiful home. We hope to come back again.

Vacation tradition

The weather was PERFECTION! We enjoyed exploring the island, surfing, boogie-boarding, bike riding, reading, sun-soaking and roof-top jam sessions. We had a wonderful week with great friends, great location and excellent house! Thanks again for all of your help and info!

This home is absolutely amazing! Our family stayed here on our traditional yearly beach trip. We have stayed in several beach houses at Kure Beach, but by far this home has it all!! It is equipped with everything, wonderful for all ages in your family. The home is beautiful! The home is very clean, beautifully decorated and convenient. It is just a short walk to the beach. The home had everything from beach towels, beach chairs to sand toys for the kids or young at heart! Our family made many memories here! We are looking forward to staying here again! Thank you so much!

What more could we ask for? Beautiful weather, warm ocean, clean and uncrowded beaches AND such comfortable surroundings in this home. Adults and kids had a blast. We are sold on the peaceful, uncrowded beaches. No waiting for dinner. Thank you for the countless e-mails helping us with things to do and where to eat.

Great Vacation

We all loved the house. It was just perfect for our brood. We really enjoyed the comfortable beds. My father said, "it's the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in!" Brits donuts was quite the treat. We really loved the bikes. It was a great vacation! Linda & Wayne

Best Beach House Ever!

Not to sound like a broken record, but hands down-- this is the best beach house ever! We rode bikes all over the place. It was so much fun! We loved the walk through the houses. We watched the sun rise on the upper deck, go down on the beach. We enjoyed great meals at your suggested restaurants. Wonderful Vacation

Perks of a grand hotel!

We just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your home. The week flew by way too quickly! We've stayed in a lot of vacation homes and yours was surely the nicest. We appreciate all the little extras you've so thoughtfully provided. We hope everyone who rents from you will take special care to keep everything as nice as it is now!!
A highlight of our days was sitting on your front porch in the evening listening to the frogs sing. We had many a laugh at some funny sounds coming out of that pond J It was a great time to share with my parents. Ben loved riding the big waves at Kure Beach with his body board. Thank you, also, for the restaurant ideas. We enjoyed Britts (perhaps too much) and loved our lunch at the Brasserie du Soleil.

Summer at Lala'sPalooza!

We had a wonderful time in Kure Beach! Your home is just beautiful - beautifully decorated! It is spacious, yet you have made it feel warm and cozy. All of us slept very comfortably - the luxurious sheets were much appreciated!! We did a lot of cooking and your well equipped kitchen made it a breeze - we were never at a loss for a pot/pan/roaster. All the adults loved spending time out on the front porch or the rooftop deck. But I have to tell you, my little ones must have run miles around your kitchen - it was a hit! They chased each other in circles all week . . . . . and then slept very well :-)!
