My family loves the beach and trying to find something this close to the water while staying within our budget was tricky. The unit was fine, but you are ultimately paying for location and this is where you can't go wrong! The owners were very nice & accomodating. I would definitely consider staying again.

Amazing Deal for an Amazing stay!

I was down in Daytona for the end of Bike Week 2013 and the following week. I must say that I had low expectations based on the deal we got for our 7-day stay, but I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The place was clean, had seclusion from the neighboring tenants and had all of the comforts of home! I fully recommend this rental to others, just not at the same time as me because I will be returning again and again!

Thank you Dean for a wonderful place to enjoy our vacation and I look forward to future visits!!

Nice and roomy

I enjoyed my stay very much at Ocean Jewels. My condo was nice and roomy and had everything I needed. Dean was great to work with. The people at Ocean Jewels are very friendly and helpful. I am hoping to return again.

Great Family Getaway

We arrived at the condo and it was just as advertised. Plenty of space and was very private. It is located in Daytona close enough to any of the action but far enough away from any nonsennse.
Everything was provided for the family.
The condo was clean and the beach is nice.

We arrived to find the place in need of cleaning. Now dont get me wrong the place was not as clean as we like them to be. This is a verry large two bedroom unit. It is very private and right next to the workout room. The kitchen is verry small but it has all you need. If the occasion were to arise where we needed a large unit in the future I would call for this one. There is a 7 11 right across the street and the beech is just steps away.What more do you need.

We had a great time at this location. The condo was perfect and the location to be beach was great. The area was very well maintained and the condo was in good condition. We enjoy our fun trip to beach - it was so relaxing. Already considering booking for next year.

would give a second chance

The condo was very roomy and perfect for the 4 adults. We were very disappointed with the cleanliness.The living area and kitchen were extremely dirty. The floors were so dirty thru out we had to buy slippers, could not go bare foot inside. I wish I could post the picture we took of our feet..they were pitch black. The kitchen was the same, left over crumbs on the counters and stove top. Stove top had not been cleaned from previous rental.Top of the refridgerater had crumbs from where food was previously stored. Just left an uncomfortable feeling, so we washed all linens, towels and kitchen utensils.The location is great, walking distance to everything you could possibly want to do or need. Prixe is very reasonable.

VERY AFFORDABLE

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. THE PRICE FOR THIS CONDO WAS GREAT! THE LOCATION, BEACH,POOLS, AND SIZE WERE PERFECT. THE LOCKS TO GET INTO THE POOLS AND ONTO THE BEACH WERE A PAIN BECAUSE YOU ONLY HAVE ONE KEY FOR YOUR WHOLE PARTY.

NOW FOR THE NOT SO PERFECT: I STAYED IN THIS CONDO FROM 7/23-7/30. WHEN I ARRIVED THERE WAS AN OVERWHELMING SMELL OF BLEACH IN THE CONDO. WE HAD TO LEAVE DOORS AND WINDOWS OPEN FOR THE ENTIRE FIRST DAY BECAUSE OUR EYES WERE BURNING SO BAD FROM THE FUMES. YOU WOULD THINK BECAUSE OF THE SMELL IT WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY CLEAN BUT THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. THE BEDROOM FLOORS WERE DISCUSTING. THERE WAS HAIR AND I AM ASSUMING COMET ALL OVER THE FLOORS. THIS WHITE POWDER WOULD NOT ALL COME UP. WE SWEPT THE CONDO PROBABLY 5 TIMES BEFORE WE FELT LIKE WE COULD WALK AROUND WITHOUT SHOES. WE EVEN BOUGHT A SPONGE MOP AND PINESOL TO CLEAN THE FLOORS. I WAS SCARED TO LET MY TODDLER WALK AROUND OUT OF MY SIGHT DUE TO THE CHEMICALS UNDER THE SINKS AND IN THE FLOOR. THE WASHING MACHINE SMELLED LIKE MILDEW AND HAS MOLD GROWING IN IT. THE SHEETS WERE DIRTY AND WE HAD TO WASH ALL OF THEM. THE TOWELS HAD LONG BLACK HAIRS ALL OVER THEM SO THEY HAD TO BE WASHED AS WELL. THE IRON DID NOT WORK, THE CAN OPENER DID NOT WORK , THERE WAS NO DVD PLAYER. LIKE I SAID THE PRICE WAS GREAT, BUT I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE CLEANLINESS OF THE CONDO. I WOULD NOT STAY AGAIN DUE TO THE DIRT. IF I WOULD NOT HAVE PAID IN ADVANCE I WOULD NOT HAVE STAYED AFTER SEEING HOW DIRTY IT WAS. IT WAS NOT SMALL KID FRIENDLY AS ADVERTISED.

ON A POSITIVE NOTE THE OWNERS WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND RESPONDED TO LET US CHECK IN AND OUT PROMPTLY.

Excellent Condo!

This condo was perfect for anyone! I came with 7 other friends and we were all in our twenties. It was off by itself so we did not have to worry about disturbing any neighbors. There was plenty of space inside the condo and by both of the pools. The beach is only feet away and very clean and not crowded. Restaurants and other activities are just a short walk down the beach. All of our neighbors whether at the pool or around the grill were extremely friendly and always helping us out if we needed it. We enjoyed our time at Ocean Jewels and are planning to come back as soon as we can.

This is a great condo! Good location, less than a mile from the main street life and the pier, which is great because it's a nice walk on the beach to everything, and you get the benefit of a less crowded beach-front view. Not as many people down this way, which is perfect. The condo itself is very nice, it was very clean upon arrival, the beds are comfortable and it's a good space. Good kitchen with everything you'd need to cook just about any meal.

Perfect for a Getaway

Five of my girlfriends and I were looking for a decent place to stay for Spring Break this year. I am glad we booked this condo at Ocean Jewels because it was PERFECT! Since it is a stand-alone unit, we didn't have to worry about the neighbors keeping us up or waking us up (or vice versa.) And it was right on the beach where we spent most of our time. It was the perfect distance between the pier (where it was often too crowded) and where we were (we would walk back and forth from the condo to the pier area multiple times a day!) The condo fit all six of us VERY comfortably...probably two or three more of us even, and the kitchen was large enough for us to home-make dinners for ourselves every night. I would definitely say that any kind of traveler would enjoy this condo, family or college kids alike!

my family and i have been going to ocean jewels for only a year but its the perfect place for us. The hotel rooms are clean and well taken care of. We recomend it to all of our friends. Ocean Jewels has two pools one is heated and the other isnt they also have a kiddy pool which is about a foot and a half deep mabe even less. Every thing is gated with a key pad. To get in your room you have to punch in a code on a keypad which is on your hotel dorr. But i would not recomend going on speed week or 4th of July because you cant really park in a resturant with out paying a fee of some sort so I wouldnt go during those two time periods. Any way you walk past one of the pools and then you come up to this gate which has a key pad on it, you punch in the code and the gate opens. Then you walk down about 5 stairs and you are standing on the beach. Then you turn to your right and a little less than a mile down the beach is a pier which is open all night. Their is a ferris wheel and about 2 more other rides. Then there is some surf shops,gift shops,restraunts,and side shows. (people doining little shows for money their really cool).Every one is nice and joyful. right across the street from the hotel is a little gift shop. it is the perfect place for any one. I am only 12 years old but i know a good place when i see one trust me you dont want to miss out on this hotel experience so book your hotel room today you wont reget it i promise you that. :) :) (their pool hours are from 6 am to 2 am) onne more word of advise DONT FORGET YOUR SUN SCREEN!!! i made that mistake to many times and i couldnt move for about 2 days. i love it their so you proably will to!! book your room today at OCEAN JEWLES you wont regret it i promise.

Me and my family have spent the last 3 yrs here and we have really enjoyed the stay. It is affordable, and even though it is not facing the ocean it is only a few feet away and you can see the ocean. And the thing that me and my family also like about it is it is off on the side and is very private and I don't have to worry about my little boy(who is 4 now but was only 2 the first time we stayed here) disturbing anyone next to us. So I would recommend this condo to anyone that would like to have a peaceful off to yourself vacation. So glad we have had the opportunity to vacation here.
