This house is all you would ever need. The pool is a major bonus for us. Another couple with two kids go with my husband and two kids each year and we won't go to another place. We have found our golden spot. The kids play on the beach until about 1:00, we take them to the house to feed them, and then we put them in the heated pool until supper. It can't get much better than that.

This is the perfect house for families--right on a bike path, privacy and protection from the Kiawah wind, 5 star accommodations and heated pool. The location is perfect as well, as you have wonderful access to all of Kiawah but have the easiest access to Charleston and the surrounding area. The owners do a wonderful job maintaining the home and all the essentials you need are there. There is not a better home to rent on Kiawah.

We enjoyed this home for it's comfort, it's hominess, and the privacy. It's a great location to the beach and shopping. The bike trail is in the backyard as well as an interesting nature trail identifying different plants and trees of the maritime forest. An overall perfect place and location to stay on the island, close to the beach but yet out of the wind and protected by the forest around you.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

Family vacation

A wonderful family vacation spent at the pool or at the local beach. House in excellent condition and well-maintained. I would recommend this property for families. We enjoyed jogging along the bike paths or along the beach. Only recommendation would be to have bikes included in the rental as renting them was very expensive.

This has been my favorite place to stay after visiting Kiawah for 15 years. The location is ideal and the facilities are excellent. I was extremely pleased with the pool. The only problem I had was with the stairs and that was because I have knee problems. I highly recommend this property to others.

We loved spending our 2009 Family Christmas Holiday at this special house on Kiawah. Even in the winter we enjoyed beach walks and trail rides on bikes. The house is all we hoped for - great kitchen space for cooking our Christmas dinner and ample living room space for the grandchildren to open gifts and play with toys. We had a wonderful time and would love to return.

Great stay for our entire family. This home is very comfortable - perfect for a family. Pool was super... very private. Easy access to everything, including golf, beach, and trails. Basketball was a definite plus for our three children. Looking forward to returning next year!

WOW!!! I can't say enough about this house. I have been going to Kiawah for the past 11 years and this house is by far the best house ever. The pool was a HUGH hit with our kids. We would go to the beach in the morning until about 1:00. Then it was back to the house for lunch and then the pool was next on the list. The kids stayed in the pool until supper. I highly recommend this place for anyone (young or old). I hope you want to visit but just not when we want to go back! HAHA

We loved kiawah and the house! The pool was great, although we didn't use it that often. It was nice to have. The kitchen had what we needed. we rented a boat one day and got crabs and I didn't know if we would be able to fix them but the house had everything we needed. Loved it!!!

We have stayed at Kiawah since 1982 in various accommodations. We have been at this location for the last two years and would not consider another rental property. It is perfect in all aspects. The wireless broadband is a great addition since 2005. Kids and grandkids love it, it's the best.

Our family stayed in this home for a week including the Thanksgiving holiday. It was wonderful! This was our first trip to Kiawah, we will be back. We had a few problems with equipment but the management company was very, very attentive to our concerns. They delivered a replacement blender on Thanksgiving Day. We would stay here again in a heart beat.

This was our second two-week stay at this amazing house in beautiful Kiawah. I can't say enough about how comfortable and perfect this house has been for us. The pool is such a huge treat, the house has everything you'd ever want and is so beautifully decorated. My whole family felt completely at home here, not like we were just staying in a rental. Wonderful, wonderful, perfect.

Stayed in this house in 2006. Excellent.
We had 4 couples, and everyone loved the place. Heated pool was a great bonus. Short walks to the General Store, straw market, and the beach.
Very nicely done inside, and very spacious.

A wonderful home for two families to share! Great space for the kids and grown ups to spread out and really enjoy a vacation. The pool is a big plus and the ride/walk to the beach is quite short though I wouldn't walk it with toddlers and their gear. We did ride bikes down though and it was quite nice. We really enjoyed all the evening family activities at Night Heron Park. We will be back.

We have stayed in many homes in Kiawah. This house is centrally located, near the beach, the straw market and the general store. The pool is great, and the house has everything you need to make your stay a great vacation. This house is our favorite so far.

Your home was perfect for our young family and friends. The kids loved the pool and swing set and the adults hung out on the deck grilling dinner. My wife also loved seeing all her favorites from the pottery barn catalog in your home. Hopefully this will be a yearly tradition for our family and friends.

Thanks for letting us share your beach house. We've been here 15 times or so to Kiawah and this is the nicest place we've stayed. The house was large enough so we weren't on top of each other. We had a great time with all the family and hope to come back next year.
