Best vacation ever thanks to Carlos. The home was beautiful with breathtaking view but most of all Carlos's dedication to making our stay perfect was top notch! Carlos made us feel like it was out house and also introduced us to the local fare which was so much fun. We will be going there again for sure.

My Dream Wedding!!

Our wedding at this place was definitely a real dream come true!! From the big details to the smallest details, everything was on point. Not only is it a beautiful tropical paradise, it was relaxing and refreshing. The staff were very professional, helpful and thorough. It is also a great family environment. BBQs, swimming, pool, all great for the family! The owner has really done a great job with this beautiful and romantic getaway!!

Caracol Che is absolutely enchanting. From the moment you arrive with the doors all open you realize you are someplace special. The views from every window and door in the house are amazing and the sunset is breathtaking. As amazing as the house is, so is Carlos. He became family during our trip and my kids still talk about “Mr. Carlos”. As an example we mentioned that we brought a couple of kites but didn’t realize how perfect the weather would be for flying kites and did not bring enough. Carlos arrived right before we left for the beach with kites for everyone. From the day we arrived to our wedding in the garden our stay was AMAZING. We can’t wait to come back next year, and this time more time to spend in Rincon!

Caracol Che is a great place for family and friends. It's spacious and has lots of areas to relax and enjoy the views. The rooms are beautiful and excellent for couples getaway!!

This place also makes any wedding a dream come true! The wedding planner (Aidita), Carlos and the Caracol Team provided for a wonderful, successful, and fun wedding. The chef and staff delivered a great selection of native Puerto Rican food with a variety of delicious appetizers and entrees. The environment and atmosphere allowed for a perfect reception with dancing, relaxing and having a great time with loved ones. The table layout and flowers were just BEAUTIFUL!!! If you are getting married, do yourself a huge favor and avoid unnecessary headaches and stress by entrusting in the work of Aidita!!!. She truly has the skills and knowledge along with a great eye to make your dream wedding come true.

We were able to plan our wedding from New York and see it unfold into a beautiful reception. The villa staff were very pleasant, always on the go making sure they did not miss anything while allowing us to have the time of our lives at this dream villa.

The wedding photos are excellent! Oscar, the photographer really went above and beyond with the way he coordinated the pictures from the entire wedding. From the ceremony to the reception at Caracol Che, he captured wonderful moments that will help us remember the good times and the fun we had!!! Great Job Oscar!!!

THANK YOU CARLOS for sharing this amazing property with us. We look forward to visiting paradise again really soon!

We were 4 couples and one infant. The house was great for our group. There is not much like it for a group this size. It was tasteful and private. The pool and game room area with bar are fantastic.
It has all the makings for a memory filled fantastic trip. It is very close to the beach. You can as we did walk down with your surfboard and head right into the waves. Carlos the owner is a gem! He is kind and very helpful and responded to requests with alacrity.
We did not want for anything. We would not hesitate to book again.
In our opinion the best choice for a group in Rincon. Nothing compares.

From the moment we started dealing with Carlos, we knew that our stay at his villa would be special. He is a true gentlemen and extremely generous with his time. For months prior to our arrival, he was always available to answer questions and help plan our trip to Rincon.

Caracol Che was exactly what we were hoping it would be and more. We were a group of 5 couples. The grounds of the villa are so vast and private that there are numerous areas to go relax quietly and read or snooze if you want sometime away from the group. And the common areas (the pool, billiard room, dining room etc) are large enough for a group of 10 to never feel crowded. This was very impressive.

Carlos is passionate and meticulous about his villa and its guests and it shows. The property was in great condition. The rooms are beautiful. The pool was relaxing delight after a hard morning of surf.

We really look forward to heading back to Caracol Che and spending more time with Carlos.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this tropical villa, to celebrate a friends birthday. The estate was exactly as pictured and described. There are no words to prepare you for how lovely the property is, a virtual paradise. You will fall asleep and awaken to the sound of the ocean, or stand on the roof top as you watch the sun go down on one side of the island as the moon arises on the other side. All of this beauty is available in a secure and private setting. The owner is very helpful and a gracious host and is available for questions regarding places to eat or local activities. Picture yourself planning your day while standing on the deck enjoying your morning coffee. The villa is secluded but a short walk to the beach, the pool is incredibly refreshing, the estate has every amenity that you could desire from a hot tube, to a pool table, as well as private patio areas. You can keep yourself entertained right on the property or venture out to share and experience the local flavors. I would rate the stay as a fantasy vacation, true memories were made and shared during our time at Cara Colche.

The 5 Star Rating that VRBO limits you to is not high enough for Caracol Che! The tranquility of the property, the views, attentive staff, concierge service, and overall experience far exceeded any expectations that we had for a great vacation.

Along with several adults we had our 15 month old son with us and were able to use the Nanny Service supplied by Caracol Che. My wife and I have never been more relaxed and at ease then we were with the woman that helped us. They treated our child as if he was their own.

When it comes to true Hospitality all other Property, Inn, and Villa Owners should take note. Carlos and his Crew have it nailed!

After e mailing with you for a tear and a half to plan my family’s vacation to rincon and our wedding on January 17th, I already knew you were responsive and that you would be a gracious host. I did not know that you would go above and beyond to take care of my family and ensure the wedding went smoothly, from taking me to the store to stock the bar, to returning the extra bottles after we left, to arranging for my family to have local food delivered to the villa. Caracol Che was the most lovely,lush, beautiful place I have vacationed at. It has much to enjoy from the fresh salt water pool, lounge chairs to take in the beautiful greenery and blue ocean, relaxing hammocks to read and nap, lower grassy area for yoga. It is truly the best! I will be back.

My experience at Caracol Che far exceeded anything I could have imagined! The property is breathtaking and the amenities are superb. The photos, while beautiful, do not do this place justice....you have to experience it! The grounds are well maintained, the salt water pool is to die for, and the proximity to the beach is fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor massage offered as part of the spa service....how decadent!

Carlos and his staff made our stay memorable and I look forward to returning next year for what is ( I hope!!) to be an annual yoga retreat!

At Caracol Che you will be warmly welcomed by Carlos. The grounds are absolutely amazing and magnificiently taken care of. Carlos really cares about this estate through his attention to detail and it shows as soon as you enter. This is not your typical resort vacation rather an intimate setting that really allows for relaxtion. Caracol Che is a special experience.

I highly recommend this vacation spot. You will have all the amenities of a top hotel, along with the luxury of living in your own beautiful house. It is completely private with beautifully landscaped grounds, a gorgeous pool, and a jacuzzi. I went there with 2 friends to go surfing, but found it hard to leave each morning! My 2 friends had master suites with stunning views, and I took the fantastic poolside room - a little less fancy self-contained room with an outdoor shower and clear roof for star gazing at night. Carlos is a completely professional host. You can use his menu of services as much or as little as you like. It was perfect for us - after a morning of surfing we cooked in the well-appointed kitchen, took a jacuzzi and then rested in the fun hammocks or cozy outdoor couches. By mid-afternoon we were ready to hit the surf again - just down the street. It's also very close to all the best restaurants. Get out your check book and GO.

Amazing Stay and Stellar Service at Caracol Che

My family recently stayed at Caracol Che for a week for my wedding on January 17, 2013. What a week! I can't say enough positive things about Caracol Che. The villa itself is amazing. When we drove up the curved driveway toward the front steps of the house, you could see my entire family's eyes widening. We knew we'd be staying in a nice place from the photos and advertisements -- but we couldn't believe how nice! The photos really can't communicate the actual size and beauty of the villa. The grounds are expansive, the villa is thousands of square feet, and you can't throw a stone without hitting one of its decks (ground floor deck, main floor deck, second floor deck, pool deck, yoga deck, the list goes on)! Between the 360 degree views on the rooftop deck, hammocks where you can hear the ocean turning, the heated pool with waterfall, and the hot tub surrounded by tropical foliage, my family hardly wanted to leave. My now-husband and I knew instantly upon arrival that we were going to have a stunning wedding reception--and it was. We mentioned several times throughout the night that the reception was so beautiful, we couldn't believe it was actually our wedding!

As if the villa and grounds weren't enough, I can't leave Carlos and staff out of this review. I literally do not have enough characters left to describe the top-notch service we received, so I will just describe the first night. When my family arrived, Carlos was waiting to greet us at the bar with drinks, and arranged to have a lasagna meal ready for us to simply place in the oven (after nine hours of traveling, we needed it!). Not only that but Carlos actually volunteered to drive with my husband and I over to the hotel where our other guests were staying so that we could see where it was, since Rincon roads can be confusing. Carlos spent about an hour doing this with us--and it was 9:30 PM at night! This stellar service continued throughout the week. Thank you Carlos & staff! We can't wait to be back.

Paradise Found

Caracol Che was everything described and more. My family enjoyed the breathtaking ocean views from the various balconies. The house is surrounded by acres of palms and tropical plants which give you complete privacy and promote a serene connection with the island. The pool area was very spacious with a well equipped bar close by to make cool mixed drinks. We loved the surround sound stereo music playing throughout the house and in the gardens outside by the pool and hot tub areas. We played many games of pool while laughing with family who were lounging in the hammocks. The second floor has a large kitchen and living area with plenty of seating for eating or watching tv/reading (if you could find the time). I loved looking out the back windows into the thick vegetation. The third floor housed three master bedrooms with full baths. Our family enjoyed the privacy of our own rooms. Yet the children were close by for me to check in on them. We went to sleep each evening listening to the coqui frogs and awoke one morning to watch a pod of whales off shore! It was unforgettable memory but so are all the memories, like the iguana lounging in the tree by the pool, or us drinking fresh coconut juice, practicing my Spanish with Marilyn or doing Pilates surrounded by the beautiful gardens. Carlos' passion to exceed our expectations was astonishing. He is the kindest man and most gracious host. His home is a paradise and a true treasure. Rincon is a must see! We stayed a week and didn't come close to taking in everything.

We searched hard and long to find a villa-type property that would be the ideal vacation spot for our group of four couples and one small child. The goal was to find a tropical place that would be satisfying for our somewhat eclectic combination of unusual travelers – a place that could offer us a break from the monotony of many mainstream accommodations. We wanted to walk to restaurants, shop with the locals, have the view of the ocean, swim in our own pool, cook food as we liked in a first class kitchen and still be within a 12-hour travel window of our homes on the East Coast.

Caracol Che was able to meet the complex needs of our party with flying colors. Carlos, the proprietor, orchestrated our stay from start to finish with a passion usually reserved only for close family. His courtesies ranged from bringing fresh-baked bread for our first breakfast to showing us how to cook meats on orange, mango and other hardwood charcoal to advising us on local attractions. He made sure that we relaxed and enjoyed ourselves yet allowed us to have our privacy. We felt safe within a foreign place and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay from early dawn though sunset within the first-class comforts of this idyllic retreat.

We would recommend Caracol Che to the traveler who wants to enjoy the beauty of Puerto Rico in a setting of gardens of palms, exotic flowers, ferns and native flora. The breezes off the ocean offset the heat of the tropics keeping the temperatures comfortable usually without the aid of air conditioners. We think that Caracol Che has achieved a comfortable balance between living within the exquisite attraction of island and still offering the conveniences of the appliances and surroundings that most travelers are used to living with and rely upon for ease of life. Outside the gated perimeter we walked to beach bars with breathtaking views, a variety of restaurants, artisanal shops, as well as to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

We highly recommend Caracol Che to the discerning traveler who is willing to step off the beaten path and enjoy a little touch of paradise.

Fantastic Property, Impressive service

Caracol Che is a beautiful and functional property. Our party of 11 (3 families) never felt crowded, and utilized all the amenities - pool, hot tub, free-standing bar, hammocks, wifi, sundeck, pool table, DVD, satellite TV. Carlos, the owner, provided an exceptional level of service, visiting each morning to ensure that everything was working correctly, and provided great recommendations for dining and shopping. This is a wonderful spot to get away from the crowds for a truly relaxing and enjoyable first class experience.

Beautiful Wedding!

I got married at Caracol Che on Dec. 12, 2012. It was the perfect setting, relaxed and intimate with lush tropical greens overlooking the ocean. I was told over and over by my guests how beautiful it was. We stayed at the villa along with our families for 5 days. Carlos the owner was extremely attentive and always available to meet any of our needs. He did the grocery shopping for us at no charge so that when we arrived the fridge was stocked. He also helped me hire an amazing chef for the rehearsal dinner who came to the villa to cook for us. The daily maid service was very nice as well especially since when you rent a house it is usually not cleaned until you leave.

I highly recommend staying at Caracol Che. As soon as you arrive you will relax. It is an absolutely beautiful property and you won't find anyting like it in the area. I will definitly be returning!

Amazing

"Amazing!"

I recently got married while staying at Caracol Che. From beginning to end, it was a wonderful experience. Carlos makes you feel like he is there only to cater to your needs. The villa itself is just beautiful and the grounds are well-maintained. There's nothing quite like waking up at Caracol Che and just taking in the view while planning the day ahead. All of the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The amenities are so good that you almost don't want to leave the villa to go do other things. I could have just laid on a hammock and lounged around the pool all day and had a great vacation. You definitely feel like you are in your own personal hideaway with the amount of privacy afforded by the layout of the property. The view is gorgeous as well, seeing the waves crashing down on the beach below. The attention to detail is extremely impressive. And the wedding was everything I had hoped for. Carlos was there to make sure everything went off as planned. The grounds are perfect for both a ceremony and a reception. All of the guests mentioned what a beautiful place it was for a wedding. I can honestly say that there is no place I would rather have gotten married.

I can't thank you enough for making our daughter's Kristin's dream wedding come true. The house was absolutely gorgeous. I was also impressed by the mature gardens all around the house and up the drive. It was hard to pick a favorite deck with that beautiful view to the ocean. You were great with requests, even having someone get my brother a sling at the last minute! It was a wonderful escape from the Sandy experiences of almost everyone at the wedding. Great family-friendly rental

We traveled to Caracol Che with four couples and four one-year-olds. We thought this might be a difficult experience in a rental house, but it worked out wonderfully.

Carlos, the owner, was incredibly hospitable and never once made us feel bad for bringing kids. At our request, he stocked the fridge ahead of time with lots of kid-friendly food, so were all ready to go when we arrived. Besides putting a few breakable items up on higher shelves, there was no baby-proofing needed. The house is in pristine condition, so no fears of kids getting hurt by tripping over or pushing on something that was broken. Carlos had put up a gate to the deck stairs, so the little ones could run around without worry of one falling down the stairs or wandering into the pool area. The pool is fabulous for kids, much larger than it looks in the pictures and "zero-entry", so the kids could toddle in and out of it. The pool is also in the shade most of the day, though the deck for sunbathing is in the sun, so we didn't have to worry about sunscreen either. The layout of the house is great for families, and the bedroom with the bunkbeds is downstairs from the other bedrooms, which would work well for older kids or bringing along a nanny (which we did for a little help).

Only two things of note if traveling with families: 1) If coming from San Juan, the drive is longer than it looks based on mileage, because many of the roads you take are either one lane or have multiple stop lights. So it probably took at least 2.5 hours to get there, so plan ahead for that. 2) The house doesn't have any bathtubs, only showers. So this was a bit challenging to bathe the kids.

Overall, it was an amazing experience and a great house for adults and children. A number of us are thinking of coming back with our extended families in the future, since it was so nice! Beautiful weather, lots of stuff to do, great house- what more could you ask for?!

Unbelievable experience!!

I had the pleasure of staying at Caracol Che this week for my sister's wedding. From the moment we drove up the driveway towards the house, I had a feeling this stay was going to be remarkable. The surroundings of the property have a breathtaking view and a serene vibe. The property offers many amenities such as a yoga station, a heated pool with a grotto, a hut tub, and many outdoor lounging areas. The actual house offers spacious bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, and a fully stocked kitchen that has every utensil imaginable! I can go on and on about all the amazing features of this property; however, the most outstanding amenity was the 24/7 concierge service provided by it's owner, Carlos. Carlos has a vivacious personality that impressed everyone. Specifically, during my sister's wedding, Carlos personally greeted and chatted with all the guests and also made them feel at home in this property. Many of the wedding guests commented how enchanted they were with Carlos' hospitality and friendliness. During our stay, Carlos made sure all our needs were met and frequently offered to help us with anything. For example, I asked him for directions to a nearby waterfall and he offered to take us all!

I was so impressed with this stay that I already started looking for possible dates to come back. I went to the website to check his rates (since my sister paid for this visit) and at first glance, his rate seem to be pricey. However, I began doing the math, and in reality his rates are actually very reasonable, especially when considering all the perks. For instance, the house fits 10-12 people. It offers safe parking, pool, hot tub, grills, and a full kitchen. If you stay at a hotel, (even an affordable one for $100 a night), they charge you a resort fee of around $20 and parking ranging from $8-$16 a day. That also does not include the price of eating three meals at a restaurant. So realistically, you would save more money staying at Caracol Che. Of note, I also traveled with my infant son and Caracol Che had available the use of a portable crib and a booster chair. We look forward to planning our next trip to PR and a stay in Caracol Che is a must!

Fantastic Family Vacation

My wife and I and three other couples took our 1-years olds to Puerto Rico for their first beach vacation. Staying at Caracol Che made the vacation easy, fun, relaxing and very enjoyable. Everyone, including the babies, loved the pool and the deck for playing. The beach was just a short walk away and was very nice. Carlos took care of everything for us; you could no ask for a better host. Can't wait to go back!

Dream wedding and the most memorable vacation at the stunning Caracol Che villa

Caracol Che is a must for anyone seeking a beautiful villa where every detail has been executed to a high standard. We had our wonderful wedding at Caracol Che and stayed here for a week with our close friends from England and New York. Everything was perfect during our stay. The property is secluded and naturally breathtaking. It has views looking out to the ocean where you lose the day by just watching the waves floating in the salt water lagoon pool. In the day, you wander around the grounds in awe of how much effort Carlos has put into his pride and joy. At night...it gets better! We had guests in all 5 rooms, but there was so much space & plenty of seating areas that you would forget there were 10 people in the villa.
On to Marylyn, the maid service during our stay. We have stayed at many villas across many continents over the years - and usually you get a refresh of sheets every week and that's it. Marylyn was at the villa every day at 9am. You say hello to Marylyn in the morning - as you can't help to as she has a beaming smile as soon as she notices you, but then seamlessly drifts into the background and works very hard at maintaining the villa. She takes prides in her job and her hard work certainly pays off.
Nothing is too much for Carlos, the owner. Anything you want, he will make it happen. And the most important thing of all...he cares. He wants every guest at the villa to feel at home and have the perfect vacation. He coordinated our wedding and was our go to man for any questions we had. This is not just during the stay of the wedding - we had pre-booked the villa over 18 months in advance and he would deal with any question with integrity and thought throughout the period leading up to our stay. All he asks in return is that you treat his baby (Caracol Che) with respect and kindness but to also enjoy it! I can't say enough kind words about Carlos. I remember reading a review a few years ago before I booked the villa which said they regarded Carlos as a very good friend. At first, I couldn't understand how that was possible during such a short amount of time. Then I met Carlos - and I understood. He is a dear friend to Ashley and I, and on the last day of our stay we agreed to come back for our 1 year anniversary. We have never returned to the same place let alone the same exact villa before on our travels as we are young and keen to explore new places. This is the biggest compliment I can give to Carlos and Caracol Che. Roll on next year!

Family-friendly luxury villa.

Our recent week at Caracol Che was outstanding! As a mother of two (a 2 year old and a 5 month old), I was somewhat anxious prior to our trip, due to the swimming pool, multiple levels of the villa, balconies, etc..., but our accommodations could not have been more safe, children friendly and family oriented. Carlos made sure our every need was taken care of, such as: a brand new booster seat/highchair, spraying for mosquitos, providing a pack-n-play and even having pool floaties/toys for my girls. There is even a toddler friendly (gradual sloped) entrance into the lagoon swimming pool.
We opted to have most dinners prepared for us in-house by Anna and they were definitely a highlight of the trip! Our group was 100% spoiled. The on-site yoga and massages with Vivien were fabulous. The beach is a short 10-minute walk, but even with little ones, it was very doable. The breathtaking view from the villa more than makes up for not being directly on the beach. You can lie on a raft in the lagoon pool and watch the waves coming into the beach. (One of my favorite parts of the trip.)

Our entire experience exceeded our expectations. The estate was beautiful, elegant, and family friendly. The pool was a highlight for our children while the hot tub, kitchen, and outdoor eating areas were popular with the adults. Every night, we would sleep to the peaceful sounds of the ocean waves, birds, and the Coqui frogs. As a parent, it was wonderful to stay at a place where we could let the kids explore because the estate is private and well maintained. You can't achieve that peace of mind if you stay at a hotel! I would highly recommend staying here. We plan to make it an annual trip for our family.

Relaxation at its Utmost

The ultimate "Fantasy Island" experience beginning with the Latin rhythms and homemade Sangria greeting us upon arrival. The song of the coqui (tree frogs), the roar of the ocean, the smell of the sea breeze, tropical orchids in vivid colors, the hammocks swinging in the breeze all contributed to the most relaxing vacation ever. The villa itself: Impeccable. Room to get away but also common meeting areas. Our favorite: The grotto behind the rush of the waterfall in the pool. This property comes complete with Concierge service and maid service. The beach is within walking distance of the villa. Make sure you imbibe at the Villa Cofresi as they serve drinks in fresh coconuts hacked open with machetes. Thank you, Carlos for making our vacation even better than imagined. Would we go back again? Hell yes.. we will be back.

Business Retreat

We are a group of five businessmen on a retreat. Our goal was to conduct some business and do a lot of relaxing. Our requirements included a chef, a maid and daily massages. The chef treated us to some of the best meals we have ever experienced. The maid took great care of us and never stopped smiling. The description in VRBO does not do this property justice. It is very comfortable and luxurious. The owner was very accommodating and always concerned about our privacy. Even so, we enjoyed his company so much we invited him for dinner and good conversation. We chose not to leave the estate except for a few walks to the beach. Judging by the pictures of guests and events displayed on the walls, our excellent experience was not unusual.

Had an amazing time with 8 of my close friends this past weekend for labor day. I had never been to Puerto Rico and so my first time there was nothing short of amazing with scenery driving through Rincon and the location of Caracol Che. Carlos the owner a very humble man and Mari the beautiful housekeeper were an absolute delight. From the views to the lush surroundings it was a very meditating experience. Pool table, bar and hammocks on the first floor right next to the very stylish swimming pool that included a grotto. Second floor had a wrap around kitchen which allowed you to see the beautiful scenery no matter where you faced. Third floor had very open 3 yet private bedrooms with their own balcony and a/c unit which cooled the room faster in this tropical location. I didn't get to stay in the room detached from the house but my friends (a couple) said it was amazing. It had a green eco-friendly look to it with an outside shower. I would definitely recommend this place and plan on going there next year on vacation.

Your own personal paradise

This truly was a life-changing vacation. Traveling with family and close friends, we ended our stay closer to one another then when we arrived. This bonding I attribute to the villa and its remote serenity. You can't help but feel as though you are on your own personal paradise far removed from your normal life. The owner, Carlos, served as more than a mere host or concierge. He shared stories, insight and laughter over candlelight, food, and drink. My family and I enjoyed learning about the villa's beginning and it's celebrity guest-list. The villa served as the perfect backdrop for our intimate wedding. I could not recommend this place enough. I look forward to my next stay and the picture-perfect memories to be made.

This was the perfect place to spend time with family and friends. We did not have to go anywhere because the villa itself was enough. The service is great! The owner was very helpful and was available at all times. You get all the privacy you need and can enjoy and have fun at the villa with no worries! The property was clean at all times. The main floor has a large kitchen to prepare meals, outdoor built-in grill and table to seat 16 people. The back of the villa overlooks the ocean, and several bedrooms have a spectacular view of the ocean. The owner is dedicated in maintaining the property and ensuring that the guests are content. The Villa is a secure gated property. Bring your camera, imagination to create your own memories, and do not forget the sunscreen! Words cannot begin to describe this wonderful and flawless Villa, nor appreciate the beauty and splendor that is Rincon, Puerto Rico. However, the game room, wet bar, nearby salt water grotto with waterfall, surrounded by lush gardens, hammocks and lounge chairs, all with panoramic ocean views of the Caribbean are beyond picture perfect. The added bonus was the loving and attentive concierge Carlos, who made us feel as welcome at his home as I do in my own. This was easily the hardest vacation to return from yet, when I close my eyes, I am still relaxing in Caracol Che Private Villa & Tropical Estate.

Amazing Stay and Wedding

Nearly one year ago my fiancé, now husband, and I contacted Carlos, the owner, to inquire about having our wedding at Villa Caracol Che! Upon finding it online, we immediately fell in love with its location, being that my husband is a surfer, and beauty. After reading all of the posted reviews and speaking with the Carlos, we felt confident in proceeding further and reserving the Villa.

We arrived on a Wednesday and left Monday morning for our honeymoon. Upon arriving, we were both in awe over what a gem Carcol Che is! The pictures, my friends, do not do it justice!! The property is very private, you feel like you’re in your own beautifully manicured jungle, and on a hill with a gorgeous ocean view!! Carlos gave us a very welcoming greeting and made us feel right at home and like one of the locals! Carlos’s staff, Marilyn and Jonathan, make a great team! The two of them were so sweet, friendly, helpful, and never without a smile!

My husband and I were married on April 28, 2012 and, YES, we had our dream wedding!

All of our planning was done over the phone and via email. Carlos and Sarah were both very easy to communicate with, get in touch with, and they both always followed up and followed through. We spoke with Sarah on various occasions and expressed exactly want we wanted. She knew what our vision for our day was and to see it all successfully come to life on the day of, was quite magical. Breathtaking really.

Carlos highly recommended Sarah and that was how we ended up using her company, All Events Puerto Rico. Sarah is a doll and so enjoyable to work with. She takes pride in her work and wants to make sure her customers are always happy and they are getting exactly what they want. We trusted and valued her opinion, as far as her preferred vendors are concerned, and we were beyond happy. Everything was absolutely perfect and delicious! We love GOOD food and the cake and food, YUM!!

I believe we were the 48th wedding to be held at Caracol Che and they definitely know what they are doing. They are very professional and know what works.

To conclude, Bobby and I want to thank everyone for making our stay and wedding so very wonderful and memorable! We definitely plan to come back and visit sometime in the near future!

We stayed for a week at the beautiful Caracol Che, and also hosted our wedding there.

First off, the surroundings are BEAUTIFUL. There is no better place to get married. Its lush and vibrant. You can hear the waves even though its not directly on the beach, and are high up enough to get beautiful ocean views and breezes. The pool is inviting. The kitchen is perfect for accommodating 10 people.

Second, Carlos is an incredible host. He is meticulous about the grounds. He also went above and beyond to make sure our event ran smoothly, organizing the caterers and staff and attending to guests. For the rest of the week, he was available whenever we needed him, but was never nosey.

We highly recommend this place for a vacation and for a special event!

A magical place

One of my favourite things about Caracol Che is how beautifully the space is integrated with its natural surroundings... we slept with the windows and doors open, listening to the the coqui at night and the birds in the morning, showering with a gentle breeze coming in through the windows, and it made our stay a truly relaxing commune with nature. The salt water pool was also a luxurious treat. Carlos (the owner) and his staff are wonderful people who make sure your stay is everything you want it to be. We actually held our wedding reception at the villa and it exceeded my expectations on all levels. It was truly a magical experience and we plan to return for our anniversary.

Beautiful setting

We enjoyed our stay at Caracol Che particularly the tropical garden setting and salt water pool with waterfall. Our 5 year old grandson was delighted to have such a large area that was not over his head. Towels and pool play items were in good supply.

Owner Carlos took the time twice to lead us on car trips to a coffee plantation and a hike with waterfall.

Maid service was excellent!. We did a lot of cooking and really appreciated the clean up done for us.

All 10 of us extended family members from ages 7 months to 69 years enjoyed the 10 days we spent there.

The Perfect Vacation

From the moment we arrived at Caracol Che, we knew we had found our ideal vacation spot. The lush grounds and beautiful pool create a private tropical paradise. The accomodations were perfect. We had 2 families, 4 adults and 4 children ages 8-14 and there was something for everyone. Carlos made sure everything was perfect for our arrival, from the airport pick up to the beer in the fridge! The location was great-- we walked to beach, walked to restaurants, no need to have a car. The yoga deck was perfect for late afternoon massages, the perfect way to unwind after a hard day of relaxing! The staff was friendly and eager to help. Carlos was attentive and responsive to all our needs and requests -- all while giving us the privacy we wanted. His recommendations for restaruants and activities were always spot on!
Everyday we were reminded of what a special place we had found in Caracol Che and Rincon and we'll definitely be back! Thanks Carlos!!

I consider Caracol Che an oasis. Tranquility as it was meant to be. There are so many areas set up to read or relax, you can try a different space every day. Hammocks, lounging by the pool or just sitting by the bar, these are a few of my favorite things. I spent 9 days in Caracol Che with family members ranging in age from 82-27. Every day was a special day in Rincon at Caracol Che. Marilyn, the person who not only took pride in keeping Caracol Che sparkling kept us all smiling with her happy personality.
Every time we speak to one another we are saying things like, "Did you ever have such a fantastic Christmas dinner"? We decided to ask Carlos, our wonderful host, if he could help us get someone in to cook on Christmas day for us. He was able to get Maritza and Wanda, create a fabulous Rincon Christmas dinner for us. From the homemade tostones to the empanadillas (absolutely amazing) churasco with chimichurri sauce, grilled chicken skewers, pernil, rice and beans, flan and please do not forget the coquito---we couldn't have asked for a better meal.

Our Wedding @ Caracol Che

We had our wedding at Caracol Che, it was the most beautiful place we could have chosen. The service is excelent and Carlos was there every step of the way (thank you so much!) Everyone who came to our wedding ended up speechless when they saw the place, its just magical! Beauty and luxury would be the best two words I can find to describe it. We planned our own wedding, so since we arrived we were working non-stop, I just wish we would have been able to enjoy the stay more, but preparing for the wedding was priority. This place is paradise, I hope we can return someday, to actually enjoy the stay because there is lots to do in the Villa and in Rincon. Again I have to say, our experience was great! Thank you Carlos, everything was so unique and special, even the rain at the ceremony that washed any negative energy away so that we had a clean positive start to our marriage. We will always have timeless memories of this experience... love the place!

Best spot in Rincon

I rented Caracol Che for a week prior to my wedding, and had my reception there after my beach wedding. It was the most magical place. Carlos is by far the best host, and there is no attention to detail that is missed. He is wonderful, and like an old friend from the first moment you meet him. My family enjoyed him so much we invited him to dinner every night we cooked out at the house. He provides lovely service, and the nice touches that any high end hotel would provide to their guests. If you need anything at all during your stay he will ensure that you have it. We are already planning our next trip back. The place is fantastic, beautiful, and great for large crowds. I especially liked the honeymoon cottage with the outdoor shower. One morning Carlos also set up a couples massage on the yoga platform; which was amazing with the waves crashing on the beach in the background. Go and stay and you will feel the same way by the time you leave. Uncle Carlos is now part of our family.

I recently stayed at Carachol Che for a friend's wedding. The house is beautiful and well maintained with several nice gathering spaces large enough for a group of people to enjoy but it also his hidden niches where you can get away from the group for a little rest and relaxation. The salt water pool was enjoyable and relaxing and the gardens were naturally serene and stunning. I think the most important thing to note about the Villa is the owner, Carlos, who went to the moon and back to make sure that everyone was having a wonderful time. I really cant say enough good things about the place. I would highly recommend a visit! Enjoy!

I first arrived at Caracol Che Luxury Private Estate on Oct 22, 2012 and I had no idea what I was in store for. As I first entered the property, and drove up to the estate, it was absolutely breath taking. The beauty of the building, grounds and trees was magnificent. There was an undeniablely refreshing positive energy that was oozing from everywhere and was felt from the moment I stepped on the grounds.
We were escorted around to the back of the estate; we walked upon a stone paved walkway to a outdoor abode accompanied by a waterfall pool. It was as if we were in a beautifully magical place. Just as soon as I was able to gather my senses from all the delight, I was greeted by a gentleman who was serving champagne with strawberries. From there on it was like a dream.
The owner and Maitre d’ of this villa is Carlos. Through his vision and imagination he designed and built this sanctuary by hand. His personality, charm and constant strive for perfection make Caracol Che Luxury Private Estate the only place like it in the world. This is a place that one must see to believe. I will be returning as soon as possible and recommend everyone from everywhere to come and see it for themselves!

Caracol Che is a wonderful place to spend a vacation. It is off the beaten path which makes it private but has lots of space to relax and entertain. The house is well-equipped and Carlos, the owner, is readily available for any problems or additional services one could need.
We went for a wedding and shared the villa with other friends and had a great time but could have stayed more days in this lovely place.

I was thoroughly amazed by the beauty Carlos has created at his villa. The variety of plants and the flow of his landscape made for some very relaxing walks around the property. I really enjoyed our drive to get fresh fish. Carlos' tour of Rincon was personal and a lot of fun! As our most gracious host, Carlos made sure that we had everything we wanted to make our stay very memorable. I definitely recommend this villa for a getaway that can be as quiet or touristy as you wish.

Magical, Wonderful and Enchanting experience way beyond any expectation's imaginable... and beyond!

From the moment we drove up the driveway of this property we were taken back by it's charm, beauty and elegance, totally sophisticated tropical landscape and lushes terrain. We were met by Carlo's, the property owner/host and manager, instantly we were at ease with his relaxed and comforting attitude and realized that from this first 2 minute greeting Carlo's wanted his home to become our's for our week.
The energy of both Carlos and his property Caracol Che is one of a totally relaxed atmosphere, lushes terrain, positive vibe's, privacy, tranquility and allows one to let go and realize once again that their is a real life waiting for us outside of our day to day environment. Dream's were revisited on our stay, the impossible became once again the acheivable, internal barriers were broken down and quality of life was once again reveiled to us.
We life a fantastic life in the Washington Dc area as 2 executive's and have travelled around this awesome globe numerous time's staying at and visiting town's and countries only many would dream l as God is my witness the time spent in Caracol Che and with Carlos our host was truely one of the best time's of my life for relaxation, vacation, friendship, peace, harmony and tranquility.
We will return to Caracol Che and Carlos I have absolutely no doubt in my mind and am sure that from this day fourth that Carlos and Caracol Che have won over a new friend in life which will be with my personality one so hard to get rid of I am now a lifer of these new friend's.
It has been nothing less than a privilage and honor to write this review on this spectacular place and hope you to will enjoy your journey as much as we did. Through my own selfishness l think it important to note that l thought about giving a negetive review only to make sure that it may deter some away in order to free up space on the calender so we can alway's have pick of the crop then realized that is place should be experienced by all at least once throughout this short life and hope that you too feel the same as we do about this majestic location and home. Heaven on Earth

I can't imagine a more ideal place to be. My husband and I stayed at Caracol Che with friends for their wedding and we were lucky enough to score the private bungalow with outdoor shower! We loved it! Each night we could hear the waves crashing on the beach, watch the tree frogs hop across the see-through roof and enjoy the fresh scent of cedar filling our lungs. I would wake to the most amazing view of the bay around sunrise and truly knew what heaven on earth feels like. Carlos is amazing! Fun! Sweet! Sincere! I love him dearly! I loved the pool and the walk to the beach was easy. At night I walked in the neighborhood and was struck by all the different floral scents with each step. I will definitely be back!

I attended my son's wedding on October 9th. The setting at the Villa was beautiful as was the attention to detail by the Villa's staff. After everyone was gone, my wife and I spent a peaceful evening overlooking the ocean. The next morning I had a wonderful meditation experience on the balcony outside our room. I can't say enough about the Villa and its caring workers.

Slice of Paradise!!

This was a rather ideal locale for my wife and I. We were visiting with our good friends for their wedding, which took place on the grounds. Carlos, the owner, greeted us upon arrival and showed us around and was there for anything we needed. He was fabulous in every way, we had a great connection with him and he and his staff took very good care of us. The house is secluded, near the beach, bustling with nature, and screams relaxation in that oh-so-perfect quiet pitch. From the outdoor bedroom bungalow, to the hammocks, to the waterfall pool we couldn't have been happier. The cleaning crew came through each day and did a great job picking up after our lazy, vacationing butts! It was cool seeing all the pictures of famous people that had stayed there previously. We had a blast, definitely ranks as one of the best places we've ever stayed. Rent. This. House.

When my daughter told me she had chosen this place to have her wedding and I looked it up online my first thought was, far but it looks beautiful, but once I got there the feeling was, wao! What a gorgeous paradise, everything I saw online is threefold stunning beautiful and the surroundings gardens are so luscious , it just compliments the beauty of the place, not to mention the view from the house.The wedding was more than perfect and the place enhanced the experience.It was not easy to find by car but once there you feel truly at home.

Hi my name is Ivonne from Chicago, I just came back from vacation on Sept. 2nd. from Caracol Che. I give 5 stars to this place. Everything was excellent I didn't want to come home this place is breath taking. The video and pictures on the web are very nice but when you are there you feel all the beauty and it is better than the video and the pictures. Every morning I would get up, make cafe, and enjoy the balcony near the kitchen, looking out at the ocean and hearing all the sounds, all I kept saying to God was I want a place like this. The tropical plants are wonderful all over around the house the smell is just fresh clean, it is a great place to relax, it is a very clean place and all around very well kept. Carlos, the owner, is a wonderful person and very helpful, I felt like part of the family, he explained everything that we needed to know as soon as we got there and showed us how everything works. Carlos is great and made me feel like home. Nearby the Taboo restaurant is very good. I am coming back, it is so wonderful I don't care about doing anything else, just relax, Caracol Che has a great pool. Carlos had bought groceries for me before I came to the property. I had sent him email with a list of food and drinks that I needed at the house. I paid Carlos for the groceries when I got there, he was so kind to get it for me before I got there. I recommended this property to my relatives and friends and they are going there on their next vacation. It is very easy to get to the property, go and enjoy your next vacation like we all did I'm very happy I went!

Perfect for a Family or Group Vacation

My husband and I joined 8 other friends in Puerto Rico for a week-long vacation. Caracol Che was a perfect choice. The house met all our needs and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool and game area. The kitchen was well equipped and we used it often. The stereo system ensured we had music wherever we were. The pictures shown on the website are spot on. What you don't see in the pictures is the beautiful landscaping surrounding the property. That was breathtaking.

Carlos, the owner, was fabulous. He provided any and all information regarding the area and personally saw to it that we enjoyed our stay. He even accompanied us to a waterfall one day - even though only two of 8 would join him on the mission.

If you are interested in a nice beach, you probably need to drive to get to a nice one. The one close to the property was not that great. That would be my only complaint. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time.

The owner/manager was the perfect host giving my family his very special attention and great hospitality while staying at Villa. It was a wonderful experience and his warm personal touch made it even better. We really had one of the best family mini-vacations in years (including having extended family members). The most luxurious and relaxing vacation I've ever enjoyed!

Caracol Che --and Carlos --exceeded my expectations for a wonderful vacation. We booked CC in December for a June vacation and it exceeded my 6 months' worth of daydreams!

The property is lushly landscaped from the moment you enter the gates; colorful, flower-filled trees and bright greenery greet you around every turn and surround you in every well-placed seating or lounging spot. Every view is a glorious view -esp of the mountains and ocean. *Ask Carlos to show you his photo albums of the place and you can see how he brought paradise into being.

The rooms were warm and inviting. My husband and I were lucky enough to get the newly-built honeymoon cabana with an outdoor shower. The clear roof on the cabana allows you to see the night sky through palm fronds. Plus it allowed us up-close views of the native coqui (frogs) who sang us to sleep at night. The shower was amazing. Completely outdoors-and surrounded by nature. You wash your hair while looking at the ocean. I will prob miss it the most.

The house had plenty of seating areas and nooks and crannies so that even within a large group we were able to find quiet spots if wanted them. The saltwater pool/lagoon was everyone's first and last stop of the day. We logged HOURS in the water--which felt like it was in the middle of a beautifully landscaped jungle.

The kitchen was well-stocked with all the normal appliances we needed to cook large family meals at night. *groceries purchased cheaply at local Econo grocery --no need to pre-pack necessities; just as cheap to buy there (prob cheaper if you're from up North : )

When we did dine out -we found the locals to be patient and hospitable --local food was fabulous and wellpriced (can't think of restaurant names off hand bc I'm a non-Spanish speaker).

Carlos, the proprietor, lives next door --and acted as a very knowledgeable and warm concierge -available to provide suggestions for entertainment (inlcuding an on-site pig roast). He responded immediately to any calls or requests but at the same time allowed us complete privacy -no hovering. I wish he lived next door to us in Tampa !

As promised on the website, the housekeeper Marilyn was very quiet and sweet -she provided daily cleaning w/out ever being in the way or in any way drawing attention to herself.

I came with a group of 11, including 2 teenagers and an eleven-year-old, and every one of us is already talking about our next visit to the beautiful Caracol Che in Rincon.

The best part of our stay was the owner Carlos and his wonderful staff (love you Marilyn and Sarah!). Carlos provides a warm welcome, is filled with positive energy and is very down to earth. He has created the perfect balance. When needed he is there, but gives you the privacy so you can enjoy Caracol Che as your home. We're telling you, Caracol Che is a little piece of heaven on earth! We believe that special places hold positive energy, and Caracol Che is one of them. We will be back!!! Yup!!!

If you are looking for a relaxing personal paradise, look no further! Caracol Che is simply breathtaking. The entire property is beautiful and provides all the luxuries you could need. I stayed at Caracol Che with 8 people varying in age from 27 to 60. Our group has traveled together many times before and we loved the space and privacy of the house. The place is even better than the pictures. The pool and deck area were just what we needed to get some sun and enjoy non-stop drinks from the pool side bar, equip with a separate ice maker, ensuring our drinks were never warm!! The Owner Carlos and his housekeeper were wonderful. Carlos will provide as much or as little guidance as you need. I was a little weary of having a housekeeper come in every day but she was great. She is friendly and sweet and does an amazing job of working around the tenants and adapted to our schedules and needs flawlessly. The only thing I would change about Charcol Che would be the location. Although the compound is perfect, we were not prepared for the town of Rincon. We had false expectations of the surrounding area, luckily the house was so perfect, and we adapted our expectations and didn't mind spending most of our time around the pool with drinks in our hands. If that sounds perfect, Charcol Che is the place to go. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at this personal resort, the views and the pool alone are worth it!!!

Amazing location and hospitality!!

The property is clean, elegant, and peacefully private. It was a great location and the beach was in a short walking distance. The ocean could be seen from each level of the villa. Everything was very well kept with great attention to detail (Fresh flowers everyday around the house, ect). However, what really made this an amazing place was the hospitality. The owner, Carlos, was always available for anything we needed. He has many connections in the area that were extremely helpful in fulfilling everything we wanted to do. Thank you Carlos for making this such a unique experience! Hope to see you again soon!!

Rincon Paradise

This is one of those places that would make anyone want to chuck it all and stay in Ricon forever. The property is beautifully maintained. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming. The lagoon beckons you even in the rain. Even though the beach and town are within walking distance I did not want to leave this villa. Everything you need is right there. With access to grills, a large modern kitchen, a bar on the lagoon level, a jacuzzi and meditation area, there was no need to leave the grounds. All of this set in lush caribbean vegetation. I love this place. I was there for a wedding but I'm looking for any excuse to go back!

Bikini Jam 2011 Photo Shoot at Cracol Che

I've been a celebrity/glamour photographer and film maker for over thirty years and can't think of a more diverse property than "Caracol Che" for a photo shoot or private getaway. The grounds are truly incredible. Everywhere you look a beautiful backdrop, perfect for photography or film making appears. I was there for 7 nights and along with two other photographers we shot over 16,000 images not including several hours of video for five different swimsuit companies. This is a "One Stop Shopping" property for the photographer desiring privacy and diverse backgrounds. The owner of the property (Carlos) could not have been more helpful. He arranged additional off property photo opportunities that made the trip one of the most productive (photographically) I can ever remember. Without exception I would highly recommend this property for any type of getaway where your privacy is important. It was truly like living on "Fantasy Island." My thanks to Carlos and his staff for making this an unforgettable experience.

We had 3 photogs and 7 models. There was plenty of room for all in this spacious estate. There were so many great locations on property we rarely had to venture out to get great shots. Unlike other places we have shot this place is pure luxury and comfort. The models all said it was the nicest place they have ever stayed in. The owner and host Carlos was AMAZING. he was right there to give us guidance on where to shoot, eat, play and drink. His recommendations were PERFECT every time!!! From dining, massages and horseback riding on the beach, he has the contacts to make it happen and get a great price. I doubt there is anyone in RIncon Carlos doesn't know. What a true gentleman and host. My wife and I now consider him a dear friend and we will be back to visit soon. Two words for you... STAY HERE!!!!! Whether business or pleasure you cannot beat this amazing spot ANYWHERE

My family stayed at Characol Che for spring break this year . The welcome was AMAZING and the house was so,so beautiful. Mr.Carlos answered every question we had and helped us with everything we needed. My older cousin and I had so much fun playing with Mr.Carlos' dog.My cousin and I had the best time surfing and had a great instructor with the beach right down the hill! We spent hours in the hammocks and pool. We even got my grandpa in the pool! I'm only twelve but I'm already planning my wedding at Characol Che! Mr.Carlos is very gracious and we are definitely coming back!

We were fortunate to have chosen Caracol Che for our son's wedding. No one from our 9 member party had every been to Rincon but the reviews were enticing. The trip exceeded all expectations - for several reasons. First of all, there's the natural beauty of the property - the pictures on the web site are no exaggeration - in fact they may actually be modest. You can enjoy the pool and its waterfall, walk the gardens, pick up a ripe coconut, enjoy the jacuzzi, relax in the meditation spot, take in the sunset on the roof, etc. When is the last time you recieved a business card with the title "Owner/Concierge?" That's the role that Carlos plays to perfection at Caracol Che. He connected us with everything we needed for the wedding and the leisure days before and after. All we had to do is show up to the wedding and decide what we wanted to do during the rest of the week. Take his suggestions on restaurants for those nights that you don't dine at the villa. He treated us like royalty. You're only a short walk away from taking in some local island life in some small restaurants or a short drive to some larger estabishments. Don't let the drive from San Juan discourage you. The highway is four lane for most of the trip. You can also get a better feel for real island living during the drive. One of the guests came from Orlando and indicated that flights into the Rincon airport were priced very similar to San Juan. My guess is that Carlos would arrange to pick you up - if he doesn't do it himself. Absolutely no security concerns. Locals, surfers, stores, bars, restaurants - everyone treated us very well. Domestically, we've stayed at premier locations in Napa, San Fran, Tucson, Phoenix, San Diego, Santa Fe, Palm Springs, Charleston, all along the Mid, Upper and Lower Atlantic - this ranks right at the top in all around enjoyment.
