My husband and I stayed at this condo for 3 weeks in February 2009. First and foremost, Carol is extremely easy to deal with...quick response, courteous, anxious to please and wants you to enjoy every minute at her condo. This condo is fantastic...excellent location, fabulous views, quiet, supermarkets nearby, extremely clean, warm and cozy, and the most comfortable king size bed. Kitchen has all amenities and a washer and dryer. Beautfiul expansive beach... great for long walks. Having internet access and free long distance was very convenient. Lots of golf, shopping and restaurants. Greg Norman's Australian Grill has a great happy hour! So much to do and so little time. Wished we could have stayed longer.....can't wait to go back!!

Stephanie's condo was very nice...super clean, fully stocked, great beach views. The beds were as comfy as I had heard - each room was cheery and cozy - we all slept great! Super nice features were the free wi-fi (absolutely no connection problems all week), washer/dryer in kitchen and covered parking on same level as condo. Location is great if you want a break from the Grand Strand - I had no idea how many goofy golfs and tacky souvenir shops were there - and we really enjoyed the inlet and sand dunes close to the condo. Weather wasn't great in March, so the indoor pool was a godsend!

Great Rental

This was our first renatl with Stephanie. First of all, condo was as described, very neat and very clean. Beds were VERY comfortable and linens were soft and very clean. This condo was everything she said it was, and we were very please. I would most definetly rent from Stephanie again, and would recommend this unit. My only suggestion to future renters is to watch what type of vehicle they drive! The parking garage spaces are small and tight, and we hade trouble manuvering our 3/4 ton crew cab truck in the garage. Had some grumbling from a couple of condo full timers about our truck, but that was the only negative I could really complain about.Thanks, Stephanie, for allowing us the pleasure of vacationing in your home!

Family vacation

After driving 19 hours we arrived to a dirty condo when I called Stephanie she stated she would call the cleaning lady because it had never happened before. After not hearing back from her for a couple of hours I called her back and she asked had the cleaning lady called me which she hadn't. Stephanie gave me a decent refund for the trouble and overall we enjoyed our stay. The view was beautiful and the location was great. I would like to visit SC again and would suggest this condo to friends and family just hope they don't arrive to the mess that we did.

Quiet, clean - perfect!

This was our first stay with Stephanie and the unit was exactly as described! We had great weather and the condo is RIGHT on the beach! It is at the end of Cherry Grove Beach so if you are looking for a quiet vacation this is the spot for you. The unit itself is well maintained, clean and everything you could need is provided. The building itself could use some work - and the pool is not geared towards summer use - it is small, indoors and heated. But that said we were there for the beach!

We had a great week - we would definitely stay with Stephanie again!!

Another great stay in this condo

This is the third time in less than 2 years that we have stayed in this particular condo. Each time has been a great experience. The quality and cleanliness of this condo continues to be great.

With the change in owners this time we were pleased to see that everything stayed the same or was better. Stephanie has made some nice upgrades. From the new flat panel screen in the living room to the new drapes on both patio doors everything looks wonderful. The new outdoor table and chairs on the patio were especially nice. Because they are tall you can see over the balcany while you are sitting down without having to tray to look through the little gap in the railing. We spent many hours sitting in those chairs watching the waves in the early morning and evenings.
We love this condo and will be back hopefully sooner than later!

Very relaxing Vacation

This was our first stay in Cherry Grove and I'm so glad we picked this condo. Carol, we found your condo vey nice, clean, pretty and we rested better than we ever have away from home. The Beds were very comfortable. Everything was there that we needed. All of us had a great time. I found just sitting watching the ocean so peaceful and relaxing. I hated to leave, but knew we had too. I will definitely recommend this to others. A winter vacation can be great at the right place and this was it. Thank you so much.

Better than expected!

The unit was better than we expected. The unit is spacious.....which was a very good thing due to several days of nonstop rain!! The beds were quite comfortable.....very nice linens and bedding. The place was so tastefully decorated! No cheap beachy wicker furniture here! It was sooooo nice! All the kitchen items you would need. And most importantly...clean! We did feel like we were staying in "someone's home" and not just their vacation rental. We would highly recommend and we will be back. Thanks Carol for a lovely stay!!

Just What We Were Looking For!

My husband, 13 and 10 year old daughters, and I just got back from our Norhty Myrtle beach vacation (dates 7/24/10-7/31/10). We absolutely loved everything about Carol's condo. The condo itself had everything that we needed, from the washer and dryer, to the jacuzzi bathtub in the master bedroom. The beds were extremely comfortable and made for a week's worth of restful sleep. The balcony overlooking the ocean made for special meal times and the perfect place to read. You cannot beat the location, directly on the beach, with surprisingly small crowds in the morning, late afternoon, and evening. We were told by several local people that the north part of Cherry Grove beach tends to get forgotten by the main crowds which guarentees a much more relaxing vacation. We spent a good portion of our time looking for seashells, swimming, and walking along the beach at all times of the day. Carol was kind enough to call the day after we arrived to check on us-there was nothing more we could ask for! We wouldn't hesitate to return here-we hated to leave! Thanks Carol for everything.

Carol was the best owner we have worked with in over 20 years of vacation rentals. The pictures did not lie, actually the new couch and new accesories are better than the pictures. Quiet but pretty close to everything you need. Enjoyed the Pelicans game. Loved the crockpot as it was still cool and windy so it came in handy for dinner. Would definitely come back and would highly recommend to family and friends. We truly felt at home, like we were staying with friends or family.

EXCELLENT

my mom and dad stayed for 2 weeks and me and my boyfriend stayed for the 2nd week.. It was a wonderful place.. fully equipped.. we loved the view.. it was nice waking up right by the ocean..the new couch and chairs were comfy very nice..the only down fall was the pool was closed for 3 1/2 days and no one told us until the next day when there was a sign posted up.. other then that we would deffinately come back and stay here..

NO SURPRISES

Everything about this property is as promised. The owner provided the most efficient customer service I've had in the forty-odd years we've been visiting the Myrtle Beach area. The location is excellent; there are plenty of restaurants, retail and grocery stores close by. The condo itself is beautifully decorated; all appliances were top notch quality and in excellent working order. The only complaint we would have is the living room couch is not comfortable on which to sit and shows some age. But the fishing was good at a local back water area where the locals go. I would certainly recommend this to any friend or relative and am planning on returning at least once or twice a year.

Wonderful Condo

We just got back from spending a week at Carol's condo. Even though the weather didn't fully cooperate, the condo was wonderful! Very clean and nicely decorated. We were there with another couple and there was plenty of room for all of us. We cooked most of our meals while were there and the kitchen was very nicely stocked with all the items you would need to prepare a meal plus some.

I can't say enough about how comfortable the beds were. We stayed int he master bedroom and that bed was so comfortable. This was one of my main concerns when looking for a condo to stay in. We've stayed in condo's in the past where either the mattresses are old and cheap or they are so hard you can hardley sleep on them. Not the case at this loacation. Everyone had a great nights sleep!

The condo was also VERY CLEAN. We've had problems with condo's being older and musty smelling and the owners trying to cover up the smell with sprays and pouporri's but that was not the case here. It was very clean and tastefully decorated.

I would highley recommend this condo and we plan on returning in the future and telling all our friends and family about it also.

A Wonderful Vacation

Upon arrival, we found a condo fully equipped for a fine living experience. The oceanfront balcony afforded us a view of the ocean and beach, at the same time allowing a certain sense of privacy. Great Week at the Beach

Our stay was from June 13th -20th. Carol's condo was everything we wanted or could have asked for! The condo was so clean and bright and roomy, we all loved it! Everything was clean and spotless. The pictures of the condo do not do it justice, we were all very pleased with it. The view of the ocean from the living room was gorgeous and relaxing. Our family included two couples, a baby and one 10 year old child and the condo fit all of us with lots of room and privacy. We loved having the washer and dryer right there. Lots of comfy blankets and pillows, lots of movies and games and books and tv ,it seemed just like home. There was never anything we needed that was not there for us! Carol cares to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. She is easy to reach and always takes care of any need or question right away.

If you want a beach location that is clean and not crowded, this is the place for you. We spent time every day on the beach, we couldn't get enough of it. Being at the North end of the beach, it is very quiet and so beautiful. There are lots of things to do, you will not be bored. There are endless options for eating out, shopping and exploring. We all wanted to stay longer!
Our favorite activity was with Thomas Watersports. Their jet ski dolphin tour is something we will always remember. And their location is just 5 minutes from this condo.
I would recommend this condo to anyone without hesitating. It was a great experience and hopefully we will have the chance to return.

We just got back home from a great week at the beach. Carol is an outstanding hostess making sure everything is just perfect for your vacation. The beach is very spacious with elbow room so you are not on top of the next person. The condo is very nice and well maintained. It was much more than we expected. I highly recommend this property.

First of all, let me start by saying this place was fantastic! Also, let me say how great it was to actually talk to the owner (not just someone trying to talk you into something you don't really want). The owner is a super person! I know some of you have been disappointed renting places on the internet. We too have run into that before. Things look great until you get there and then wow, what a let down. Please let me say that this is absolutely not the case here! Let me tell you a little bit about the place. Just a short walk down the hallway and right out into the parking garage, but we never heard a single car. Unloading was easy. Also, it's just a few short steps to the non crowded beach. Everything is just like the pictures. The place was very nicely decorated, very quiet location (almost the end of Cherry Grove). It was clean, well maintained and everything including the sliding screen doors worked! The patio was great! We ate breakfast and lunch there every day. It's not in the sun, so it stays breezy most of the time, and the view of the ocean was nice. It's nice to have a washer, dryer and ice maker in the place, and whirlpool tub in the master bath! There are also a few kids toys for the sand if you forget yours. Ceramic tile might be a little cold with the air conditioning, but is much easier to clean. You are close to most everything. We went to the Alabama Theater to see the Coasters, Platters, and Drifters, and also the Dixie Stampede (probably at least our 5th time for this and still love it!) Our favorite restaurant we go to at least 2 x's every vacation is Coleman's, in Calabash, NC. ~15-20 minute drive (17 N. to RT. 179). Follow the signs to Callihan's gift shop, right at the light, go to the end of the road!) You can also buy fresh shrimp at the dock and watch the fishing boats come in and show their "catch of the day". Boulineau's grocery store, hardware store, and ice cream shop on the corner is nice. (Save's you from going all the way to Walmart!). It's just a short drive to the mall, Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach. Everywhere we went was less than a 30 minute drive. We would recommend this property to anyone. The owner always emailed us very promptly if we had any questions and also called us the night that we arrived and made sure everything was in order and to our satisfaction. You won't get that from "the other guys" (at least we never have). We give this place a 5 (excellent) and will book this property again.

Stayed at this property from June 20th to 27th of 2009. Excellent location, condo as advertised clean and roomy; felt like home! I think the resort overall is showing its age; typical beach resort issues! We had a lot of fun in the area; good dining choices.

Great Week

This was a girls get away. There was 4 of us and we each did what we came for. We did some laying and walking on the beach, looked for shells, slept till we wanted to get up, sat on the desk and read and watched the ocean. One day we drove to Charleston easy drive. Ate breakfast and lunch at the condo and wonderful resturants for dinner. We hated to leave and will think about going back. The condo has everthing you want. Very clean and the most comfortable beds ever.

Loved Every Minute!

We are from Michigan, and this past winter was the worst! We decided to try a beach get away at the end of February, and it was fantastic. The beach was magical, the largest expanse of shoreline I've ever seen. You could hear the gentle ocean waves at night from the master bedroom, even with the windows closed! It was early to be there, but still much warmer than our Michigan temperatures. It warmed up enough to wear t-shirts! The interior of the condo was so clean and nicely decorated, that when we were tired of sight seeing it was a pleasure just to stay in and relax. Carol was so helpful, and easy to communicate with. Thank you Carol, for the stay at your place! It was like a gift from heaven. We want to go again next year.

Family Vacation August 2008

Had an awesome time with Daughter, Son-in-law & 3 grandsons (15, 13, 8). Condo was as presented. Very clean, very nice to have washer & dryer there (especially with 3 boys & beach towels & suits). Very comfortable (felt like home), location perfect, beach visible from side deck (awesome in the morning) & just a few steps from door to beach. Beautiful sunset also from the beach.
We would definitely go back & would recommend this rental to friends.
We actually spent our whole week on the beach/condo. Didn't need to go anywhere else. Boys were very content. Large waves to catch and come into beach on the boogie boards. They loved it.
We found the local restaurants at Myrtle Beach to be the best; Duffy Street Seafood Shak & Heavenly Hamburger were a few of our favorites.
The owner was a dream to work with; totally worked with you, & made the stay extra special. Knew you could get hold of someone if you did have problems, of which we had none.

Couldn't ask for a better vacation place!

We spent last week at this wonderful condo and didn't want to leave when our week was over! Everything was perfect; from the furnishings to the location. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived & especially after Carol's welcoming phone call. This place is very clean & extremely well taken care of. All of the furnishings are very comfortable & there are televisions in every room which would make it nice for families with kids.

My husband has problems with his knees & we were concerned that he might have trouble being on the third floor but he had no problem at all. We were able to park in the parking garage on the 3rd level & it was a short walk to the condo. Also getting to the beach wasn't hard for him since there is an elevator to use.

We had family members staying in 2 other condos in the same building & they didn't come close in comparison with this one.

I also want to mention that the beach in this area is great! It is very clean & very wide so we never felt crowded by other sunbathers.

I don't have one bad thing to say about this place & more good things then I have room for here. Thank you once again Carol for this great place & a wonderful vacation. If we're ever in the Myrtle Beach area again, we will definitely be staying here!

wonderful place to stay!

I just wanted to start off by saying this is by far the best condo that my family has stayed in at or around north myrtle beach! The home is very beautifuly decorated, well equiped and very very clean. The home owners are very nice and easy to work with. The condo has lots of games and movies for adults and kids. I dont have anything negitive to say about it at all. The pictures on the internet dont do it justice. My family will continue to stay for years to come.

Just What The Doctor Ordered And Much Much More!

Being at my wits end with my 24-7 job I needed to escape to a peaceful ,quiet area for vacation! Besides being blessed with gorgeous weather ,my sister (who has been ill ) and I spent the most relaxing week ever. Carol has gone out of her way to make you feel cozy at home and right down to DVD and Video players you can also curl up on the most comfortable and clean furniture ever. There are movies to watch ,games to play , and for us ,just sitting on the deck relaxing(thank you for thinking of lounge chairs -it's a rarity!!!) while we watched the ocean did it for us. Such thought of comfort was put into this place I have to applaud her.
Our easy parking access right to our floor made everything simple and I couldn't believe there were dollies and shopping carts to bring everything in-from our luggage to our shopping adventures.Most of all ,with my sister having a hard time getting around ,the access to the pool and beach were a dream ,and the restaurants in the area were excellent -we can now plan vacations at this wonderful "home" of Carol's for my elderly mother and our teenage nieces and nephews - Looking around it is definitely an easy place to ride up the street and entertain any age group - Thank you Carol for your phone call to make sure we were happy and comfortable and we will definitely recommend your "home' to everyone we know -This was our first vacation we were able to relax ,feel safe , yet accomplish everything a great vacation should be.The cleanliness and beauty of your home and beach have put us in awe -and we know we are planning to call you next week for our fall vacation-Your The Best! I am a perfectionist and this condo met my standards.. Carol was wonderful, she called to check on everything and see if we needed anything..
My husband and I loved it because it was laid back. Our teenage kids loved the condo but they went to Myrtle every day for teen action. Which was great with us, it gaves us a break from them.. The veranda overlooking the ocean was my favorite spot, I stayed there until 2 every morning listening to the sounds. Very peaceful.. Everything was easy access and perfect..

I am an enterior designer and most rental places are not decorated very tastful but his was was.. Beautiful..

We will be back again, but maybe by ourselves...

We had a great time at this condo. The owner seems really nice. She always responds right away and does her best to work with you. We stayed a week with our 2 kids and the location is great for families. Close to everything, but not too rowdy. We will be staying there again.

Best Accommodations In Myrtle Beach Area

I (along with my family) recently spent the month of March 2008 in these premises and enjoyed myself immensely.The condo has everything one would ever need or want for a vacation. The views from the outside patio were stunning each morning with the sunrise. The patio was well equipped with furniture to make the outside experience as wonderful as the inside. Most days I was in the warm indoor pool as well as spending time on the outside patio overlooking the beautiful beach. Parking was great and the bonus was it is all covered making to and from the condo great during a rainy day. Also privided were carts on each floor to take belongings and groceries from the car to the condo which made life so easy down there. Already have reservations for 2009. That should tell you something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Carol is a very caring individual and makes sure you are enjoying her property by her phone calls to make sure everyone is comfortable and safe............Thanks so much Carol for your concerns and for being there for us ...............
