We have used your rental the last two summers for our family reunion and the house fit our needs perfectly. It has plenty of bedrooms for a large group and the open style of the living/dining/kitchen is great and easily accommodated our family of 25 without feeling crowded. We will probably be using it again next summer. Don't have a date yet. Thanks for a great vacation!

Golf Retreat

Review submitted: April 24, 2013   Date of arrival: April 12, 2013

We had 11 guys staying in the house for a week. Everything was in great shape and all of the necessary items were available for us. It was only a few blocks away from a shopping center. The spa was a big hit for the older guys. It was also big enough to get away by yourself when it got a little to loud.

Large House & Pool - Great for Groups and Family Reunions

Freakinfast (Vancouver, BC)
Review submitted: February 26, 2013   Date of arrival: February 16, 2013

Stayed here for one week for a family reunion (6 adults and 5 young children 1 - 6yrs). It's a large, spacious house and came pretty well-equipped with everything we needed (except a decent set of wine glasses!). The furnishings and decor are not particularly recent or coordinated - but the place is functional and clean. The heated pool was a big hit with everyone which is maintained at 85deg. We were there during a significantly below average temperature week - but it didn't keep anyone out of the pool. The house is in a bit of an out of the way location - but 30-40 mins on Hwy 101 and/or I-17 gets you anywhere in the Phoenix area you would want to visit.

The house was family friendly for our gathering of 20 people. Every one had a bed & it was enjoyed by kids from 3, teenagers, parents & grandparents. The pool was a hit & the back yard was big enough for kicking a soccer ball. The kitchen is well equipped, cooking no problem. The listing was accurate, the property maintained & clean. Would rent again for a family event

Family Christmas Vacation

Caryl (United States)
Review submitted: December 31, 2012   Date of arrival: December 23, 2012

My family just spent our Christmas get together at this house in Peoria. We were especially happy with our stay. The house was large with a large kitchen and spacious family rooms and bedrooms. We were a group of 18 people (age 11 yrs to 86 yrs) who all found sufficient sleeping and bathroom facilities. There was a large back yard, pool, and hottub. The location was also close to restaurants, a mall, movie theatre, walmart and costco. A grocery store was only a block away. The young people found a rock climbing facility and the adventurers found various levels of hiking locations. The animal lovers found the Worldlife Zoo a treat and the musicians enjoyed the instrument museum. This is my family's fourth year to rent a Christmas house in various states. This was definitely our favorite rental.

Perfect for Large Groups

Review submitted: July 10, 2012   Date of arrival: June 26, 2012

I rented this vacation house for my volleyball team, we had 18 people in our group. The house had more than enough room for all of us and we never felt crowded. The house is very clean and there is cleaning supplies in the house for you to use if needed. We had to travel to downtown Phoenix everyday to play, the commute from the house was easy as you are on the freeway in minutes. The oversize yard and large pool was a nice retreat from our long day of playing. The house is conveniently located near many shopping centres including Costco which is perfect for a large group. Linda and Michael are great hosts, they called to make sure everything was ok with check-in and were easy to reach if we had any questions. The house exceeded my expeditions and I would rent it again.

Owners response: I am glad you enjoyed your trip. We cater to large groups and sports teams. We would be happy to accomodate your team in the future.

Mini-Reunion

Review submitted: April 2, 2012   Date of arrival: March 18, 2012

We planned a mini-reunion -- 6 couples at this house in March to see some ballgames, do some golfing and just relax by the pool. It was perfect! Lots of room, very well equipped and the pool was the perfect gathering spot for late afternoons and happy-hours!

The house is on a quiet cul-de-sac, but withing walking distance of two major grocery stores. It was also very handy to a couple of ballfields and golfing.

We most certainly will return!

Family Reunion

Review submitted: February 23, 2012   Date of arrival: February 1, 2012

We had a wonderful time staying in this home. There were 16 of us - 5 under the age of 5. We planned one activity per day, and then came back and played in the pool, hot tub, and back yard. We even took our family photos in the back yard, and they came out great. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well outfitted. We ate out frequently, but for the meals we cooked, we had everything we needed. We ate a lot of lemon souffle with the lemons from the trees in the yard! It seemed a lot of the activities we chose to do were in the Scottsdale area, and we found it was a quick jump to the freeway, and no inconvenience at all. I would strongly recommend this home.

Review submitted: November 15, 2011   Date of arrival: November 10, 2011

Myself and 9 of my hockey buddies stayed here for 4 nights on a our annual golf getaway to Phoenix. It was the first time that we have rented a house on these trips and this house worked out great. It was great having lots of beds so everyone had their own bed. We did not use the pool but the hot tub was great. Everything we needed was in the house. It was great that the house was close to lots of golf courses, restaurants and the shopping. It was also convenient to the Jobbing.com Arena so we were able to take in a hockey game as well. We would definitely consider this house again if we come back to the North or West Phoenix areas.

Review submitted: August 25, 2011   Date of arrival: March 3, 2011

My family of 10 has come to Spring Training for 4 years now, and this was the most accommodating home by far! Lots of space for the family, a big backyard, heated pool, and hot tub. The kids had a blast. The only thing that could make it better was a more comfortable mattress in the master bedroom.

We have already reserved this house again for next year. Definitely worth the stay!

Recommended for: families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing

Owners response: I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. The mattress in the master is a firm. I will look into getting a cushioned topper for it for our customers who prefer the softer touch. Thanks for the review.

We had a group of 12 guys from across Canada gather at this wonderful home. All in attendance agreed it was absolutely perfect for our group. We spent countless hours enjoying the large back yard with swimming pool and spa. We sampled the oranges, grapefruit and lemons. We had ample space for a bocce ball tournament. All 12 guys had a bed and there were a couple of beds to spare. Lots of room for a large group. Absolutely perfect spot for a group this size. Linda and Michael were excellent to deal with. Thanks folks. 99% sure we'll be back.

Christmas Family Reunion

Lisa (Highlands Ranch, CO)
Review submitted: January 4, 2011   Date of arrival: December 19, 2010

Our extended family loved using this well-maintained house and yard. There were 12 adults and 3 young children in our group. Every family had its own sleeping space, yet the kitchen, family room and dining room were perfect public areas. The linen closets and kitchen were well-stocked. Having a washer/dryer was also very handy. Many enjoyed using the pool or jacuzzi several times a day. The house's proximity to stores made it easy for us to buy groceries or dine out, as well as catch up on last-minute Christmas shopping. We also appreciated the house's proximity to Sun City, where Grandma and Grandpa live in a nursing home. They came to visit every day, and were able to move about in their wheelchairs in the house's spacious corridors.

The owner provided excellent customer service and our group wants to rent this house again for future reunions! We definitely recommend this property to other large groups.

Great Home

Review submitted: December 14, 2010   Date of arrival: November 27, 2010

We were eight guy's on a golf excursion to Arizona. I do not think we could have found a better home for the price. Lot's of room for the eight of us, no bumping in to each other. THe pool and hot tub were as promised. Pool heated to 85 and hot tub 104. The kitchen was fully stocked with all utensils needed. Talk about a beautiful yard, lemon and lime tree's line the back yard. Great neighborhood, definitely an upper class area. We will be returning to the Phoenix area and will contact owners regarding this house again. Many golf courses within 30 minute drive. Hockey and football 15-20 minutes away. If you are thinking of going to this area, you definitely should have a look at this house. The nice finishing touch was my deposit was processed the day after leaving. No waiting around or chasing to do.

What a great time! My casual, "tropical", family wedding was just perfect here. The pool is amazing and there was tons of space for all ages. The kids loved the open grounds and the adults loved the shaded, misted areas. We all got together and used the kareoke machine which was tons of fun as well. I have to say it was FABULOUS! Thanks again for such a great place to stay. We will be back!

We look forward to using this house again.

We had a great time at this house. There were 13 of us for three nights, and we also had a celebration during that time with 30 people to celebrate an 80th birthday and a 60th wedding anniversary. The kitchen island was ideal for setting up food for everyone, and there was plenty of seating. The yard was big and the pool temperature was perfect. The high chair and crib were nice to have as well. I would definitely recommend this home.

You have a wonderful house that was large enough for all of our familys. It had everything we needed and it was very well kept. It was nice to have everyone in one place, it worked out great. The only suggestion I could think of would be to have an extra refrigerator. We ran out of room rather quickly. Thank you so much.

We stayed at the rental in Jan '08, there were 9 adults and 4 children. It was perfect! The house was so spacious, the back yard was spacious, we thought the back yard was going to be just the pool area! There is a nice grassy area for kids to run, or just lay in the hammock for a nice nap. The location is great, everything is close, and even if you want to do day trips, you are close to alot of sights and attractions. We would definitely stay at this rental again, it had everything that we needed! I would recommend this property to anyone!
