This is an adorable house in a pretty and peaceful location. My friends and I had a great time hanging out by the beautiful fireplace. The owner also went out of her way to return an item to us that was left behind. Highly recommended!

Perfect Winter Getaway

First off the description and photographs of the house are spot on. It is in fact a beautiful home conveniently located near the Taconic State Parkway. I stayed here with a party of 4 and we had a great weekend together. The house was very well maintained and clean. The house is also in a convenient location, only a short drive away from a few state parks, Poughkeepsie, and Hyder Park.
Also, I have never before rented a property like this, however, she helped me throughout the entire process to ensure I enjoyed my weekend. I would highly recommend this property to anyone hoping for a quiet weekend away from home.

Perfect experience. Photos are excellent representation. House and grounds are lovely, comfortable, spotless. Owner is wonderful to work with; shared tips for a great vacation. Quiet, peaceful, convenient to many attractions. Very friendly people in town. Don't miss Wild Hive, Red Devon restaurant, Poets Walk, Rhinebeck, Bard College (and the Gehry Performing Arts Center), Vanderbilt and FDR mansions, the Culinary Institute and the Mohonk Preserve across the river. We would highly recommend this property!! and we hope to visit again.

We had to go to NY State to see my Dad, who is 85. This was NOT a pleasure trip.
This property was soo beautiful, sooo relaxing, and sooo nicely decorated, it helped make a stressful trip much, much better!
The owner is soooo nice to work with! EVERYTHING WAS JUST PERFECT!!! I would recommend this property for anyone wanting a RELAXING VACATION away from it all!

Excellent property and home

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend. As nice as the photos are the house and grounds are even nicer. The house was spoteless and had everything you could need for a completely relaxing weekend. Beautiful area and super quiet and peacefull with gorgeous farms surrounding you. The stream running through the yard was also fantastic to listen to. I would advise anyone to stay here. My wife and I planning on going back again.

Long Weekend

We stayed for a long weekend and had such a relaxing stay. Lovely area, horse farms and winding roads, and the home was absolutely beautiful. Great space, lots of little reading nooks, big kitchen great for cooking, and 2 living areas to relax in. Overall, a really cozy feel, with great beds and linens, and the house was spotless. We can't wait to go back for another relaxing weekend out of the city. Highly recommended!
