The resort community was attractive and the cabin was perfect, everything advertised and more. We were especially impressed with the bear theme decorating throughout the cabin, very well done. The cabin was exceptionnaly clean, well maintained, very comfortable and everything worked. The view from the top of the hill was excellent and with the cool breeze it was very relaxing, just what we wanted. We had an especially exciting time one night when the neighborhood bear decided to come around for a visit. The owners were extremely helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be going back, maybe soon.

We had a great time in the cabin. It was clean and ready to go . We were surprised that it had an electric fry pan, crock pot and Foreman type grill in addition to the outside propane grill. The pools were clean although I would have liked better lighting and ventilation in the indoor pool building. Thanks for living up to your billing.

It was a wonderful house to stay in. It was just what we needed for our family. The only thing I could even think of would be the distance we were from the pool. We only used the pool once.
When we come back to Pigeon Forge we will be calling you again to stay.
thanks

We enjoyed our stay here. Really liked the porch rockers and view of the mountains on the back porch. The kids enjoyed playing air hockey. The Bear decor was a nice touch. My only complaint is that the bathrooms are only accessible from the bedrooms, so those staying in the loft have to come downstairs and into a bedroom to use a bathroom. Otherwise a comfortable, nice property to rent for all that Pigeon Forge has to offer.

We had a wonderful experience at your cabin. It was clean, pet friendly, the price was reasonable, and everything was in working order. The listing description and photos were accurate. The neighbors were quiet and everyone seemed very friendly. There was plenty to do and the kids were entertained with the pool table, air hockey, and movies. The night of our arrival we went to The Blue Moose for the best wings ever! The serving staff were personable. We went to the Nascar Speedway the following day. Plan to spend the entire day there. The food was pricey but the carts were fun and the kids loved it.The rest of the weekend we spent in the cabin just relaxing on the back deck and enjoying the peace and quiet of the mountains. You are definitely as high as the treetops which is great for birdwatchers. I took a close up picture of a cardinal! We would definitely come back. It's been about 6 weeks since we've been there and the kids are still talking about how much fun they had in Pigeon Forge. Thanks for sharing your cabin on the mountain!

2020, what an address for a quiet hideaway atop Bear Creek Crossing Resort with a 270 degree view! New, clean, beautiful decor, comfortable furniture, two hot tubs--one inside, one on the deck-- and ample amenities made our stay so very enjoyable that we found we never had to leave the area until time to pack up. This property was all it claimed to be and more. As a writer, I was especially grateful for high speed internet even in the beautiful Smoky Mountains

My family loved the cabin. We had plenty of room and the cabin was very clean. My children had a blast in the loft which had a great library of movies and play station games, a pool table, and an air hockey table. The cabin was very close to the attractions and restaurants in Pigeon Forge and I felt safe knowing that the cabin was in a gated community. Tom was only a phone call away when I got lost trying to find the cabin number in the dark. I appreciate him for being so involved with his property and so willing to help out late on a Friday night! I cannot think of anything I would have changed about the cabin. It was wonderful and my children are already planning our trip for next year. Thank you again!

The cabin was absolutely perfect for our party of 4. I took my 10 yr old son and my friend took her 13 yr old grandson and there was plenty of space for all of us. We loved, loved, loved the hot tub and tried to use it as much as possible. The beds were comfortable and loved that they were king sized. Not as soft as mine at home but good for a rental. There didn't seem to be a lot of insulation from the noise. We could hear through the walls pretty easily but it didn't take away from our stay at all. We couldn't find a hair dryer and for 2 women with lots of hair that was kind of a drag. Was thankful for the fan we found in the closet and just sat in front of it. lol. The ice machine didn't work or we just couldn't figure it out. The indoor pool was a drive and not a walk away like I'd hoped. None of this took away from our vacation though. We were so sad to leave and really loved that place and thought it was well worth the money...very clean and nice place to stay and we would stay there again! Robin-Seymour, IN

I only wish we would have spent all six days at the cabin instead of staying in Atlanta for three days. Three days isn't enough to take in all of the fascinating things to do. We had an awesome time. Went to Dollywood and took in the shows, this was far better than any Six Flags or Adventureland trip. We took my wifes parents along whom are in there 70's and they really enjoyed the time as well, there aren't many opportunities for them to go anywhere unless we take them with us. We all had a very good time, relaxing, peaceful and most of all the view was extrodinary. We got up early in the morning and sat out on the back deck looking at the mountains. We look forward to a return visit in July 2012. This time around I'll have the grandkids with us. Would the same cabin be available or a three bedroom at the top of the mountain. Not sure if you plan this far out or not, but we would sure like to come back to the same spot in 2012.
Once again everything beautiful and well managed.

We were blown away to see that the cabin was every bit as good, even better than the pictures showed. It was a very good experience for our family and we throughly enjoyed our entire vacation. As much as we enjoyed Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge,we equally enjoyed the time we got to spend in your great cabin. It was more than enough room for us and the loft with the pool table & air hockey was a big hit with the whole family. It was a great experience.Carl

While staying at the cabin, we were all amazed at how quiet the surroundings were. We loved the view of the mountains from the hottub, where we sat and watched the sunset. The arrangment and decorations of the cabin were absolutely beautiful and had a comfortable invitation of home. We had a blast playing air hockey and pool. We would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to go on a relaxing vacation. The only thing we did not like was that we could not stay longer.

Thank you so much for allowing us to use your beautiful cabin. This was truly one of our very best vacation. Hopefully, we will be able to make this our new family tradition. We did have a slight dusting of snow on Friday and had hoped we would get snowed in Sunday. We did try to clean everything up very well – however I did forget to start the dishwasher. It was loaded and the detergent was added. We were ½ back to GA before I remembered it. I am truly sorry.
Thank you again. We will certainly recommend ya’ll to our friends.
Wishing you and your family a wonderful God filled 2010.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Laughing Bear. We liked the cleanliness of the cabin. Not even a thing was out of place. There were ample blankets, pillows and other supplies like soap, dish washing liquid, utensils and stuff. The hot tub was really impressive. As for the location, the cabin is located right at the top and hence, the view outside was very good. Also, its close enough to the town and the park. We would definitely go back there any day of the year. We thank Lois for renting us a wonderful cabin.
Thanks again,
Raghu

My family and I were looking for a relaxing time in our trip to the Smoky Mtns. Our stay at this cabin far exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful cabin with a quiet and relaxing atmosphere and while being in a mountain setting was within minutes of the main attractions. The owner’s were helpful and upfront about everything. We can’t think of anything that would have made our stay away from home anymore comfortable than this cabin did. It was fully stocked with all the necessities and having a fully stocked kitchen, as well as a gas grill, allowed us to eat in and save a lot on food. The cabin was so comfortable and had so much entertainment that with the choices of pool, air hockey, games to play, movies to watch and the hot tub my boys didn’t want to leave the cabin. They were perfectly content to stay in. When traveling to the Smokey Mountains in the future we won’t worry about the hassle of finding a place to stay we will definitely contact the owners of this property again.

Our family of 3 stayed here at the end of June. The location of this cabin was terrific with awesome views. We had plenty of space and the game room was well appointed, with an incredible DVD collection, pool table and air hockey. The cabin was spotless and well maintained. The owners were quite helpful and responsive to all of our questions. We were very close to all of the activities in the area, but enjoyed the privacy and beautiful views from our cabin. We hope to return again soon!

Our stay at Laughing Bear Retreat couldn't have been better. The property owners were excellent to work with, and the cabin itself was awesome. The loft with the pool table and air hockey table was the center of most of the activity during our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone staying in the Pigeon Forge area. You won't find anything better for the price. Thanks for a great stay.

Today, we just returned home from a vacation at Pigeon Forge, where we stayed at Laughing Bear Retreat. It was the BEST VACATION experience we have ever had. The cabin was absolutaley gorgerous. And we loved everything about it from the tasteful deco., the cleanliness and the beautiful views and convenience to Pigeon Forge. My husband and I usually go to TN several times a year, and I always get stressed on what the cabin or condo. is going to be like once we actually get there. But, as soon as I opened the door to the cabin, I was extremely happy. I just felt like I was home. You can bet the next time we plan a trip to TN, I only need to make one phone call and that is to Tom & Lois Viars to make reservations at their cabin. I rate this 5 stars, and I highly recommend you stay at Laughing Bear Retreat. I promise you won't be disapointed!!
Owners response:
Thank You Phyllis ... It was great having you as a guest and hope you return to Laughing Bear Retreat real SOON.

My family and I stayed at the cabin last week and couldn't have been happier. The owners were great to work with and the cabin was more than we expected. All the little touches were awesome. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. My daughter has already asked when we are going back, which we will definately do. She really loved both pools, and the minature golf. The views were incredible. It was nice and secluded, but it was only a short drive to all the attractions.
