This was the perfect home away from home. It was decorated nicely and was very peaceful and quiet. We loved having our own hot tub on the private deck and the usage of the pool at the lodge nearby. The beds were very comfortable and could not have asked for a better location as this cabin was closeby to everything! Our family loved it and will definitely return again in the near future.

Almost like home!

We could not have been more pleased with this property. It was almost like home. We and our friends both felt very much at home. Even their dog was comfortable! It was only a few miles from any place we wanted to go. We all agreed that we should meet there again sometime, perhaps when the fall colors are peaking.

Be sure to eat at least one meal at The Old Mill - you'll have a good meal and likely enough left over for lunch the next day.

It was far better than any motel. A good time was had by all. Thanks, Tom!

Everything we needed

The cabin was cute and clean. We had King Beds that slept great! The roads weren't too steep and we were a few minutes from downtown Pigeon Forge TN. It was comfy and felt like home with all the ammenities. We enjoyed the WiFi and flat screen TVs with DVDs in both bedrooms and LR. The security system really made us feel secure. We will come back to visit!

Great Time In Tennessee

We love visiting Tn and had a wonderful stay at your cabin..we went shopping,Visited the National Park & Cades Cove saw a mother bear and her 3 cubs in was so wonderful watching them playing...We loved the cabin and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Smoky Mountains the hot tub was so nice after a day shopping..Thank you so much for a great cabin at a really great price...

WE were all in our 80's and it was perfect. easy access to cabin for seniors,...clean and had everything anyone would want or need Pictures did not do it justice. we would certainly recommend it to anyone.. If we needed something, Tom took care of it View was gorgeous and it was quiet and peaceful

Tom just a few word's to say thanks for a nice,clean cabin for our stay to Smoky Mountains ...I have visited the Smoky Mountains several time's over the years and would have to say that your cabin for the PRICE was the nicest and had the best location we have ever stayed at...We all are elderly people and loved the fact that your cabin has the security system installed we felt so secure..also we HATE driving in the traffic so loved the fact that your cabin is indeed setting right at everything..very little driving loved it !!!...We ate at the Old Mill they have great food and then hopped across the street to the Creamery and had banana splits..SO GOOD !!!...We will be coming back at Christmas as we already have our reservation's with you...See Ya Soon !!!.....

Great Getway Cabin

My family & i wanted to get away for a few day's and i found Smoky Mountain Memories at a price we could afford . When we got to the cabin,I was more than pleased . The cabin has a feeling of home with the many beautiful touches that the owners have put into it..The cabin was very nice , but i didn't feel as though my kid's couldn't touch anything or couldn't play..The whole family loved the hot tub it was amazing for relaxing after being at Dollywood all day..We had dinner at the Almo Steak house and i would have to say they have the best steak i have ever eat..We had a wonderful vacation and plan on a return trip real soon...

Thank you Tom & Lois you have a beautiful cabin so cozy and homey...We stayed here for ROD RUN and it was perfect so close to everything..Love the fact that i could have walked to anything in Pigeon Forge that i wonted to do..We could not believe the price of Smoky Mountain Memories per night compared to the price of other cabins in the area after all their hidden fees they tack on to the price of the cabin..We loved the cabin and would highly recommend to all of friends and family...

Quite & Peaceful !

Thank you Tom for allowing us to stay at your beautiful cabin..The only complaint was it was to short of a stay..You have a beautiful cabin and i loved the new hardwood floors..The kids went wild over the super large Jacuzzi upstairs couldn't get them out..LOL..We will be back in Dec and will call you planning as we are planning on going to Dollywood to see the Christmas lights heard it's BEAUTIFUL at that time of year..Thanks Again..

Would not recommend...

Have used VRBO.com for many TN. stays over the last several years.We really LOVE coming to the area. This was somewhat a disappointment... The property is the last home in the sub-division. Along side of the property is a gravel road. All hours of the day/night cars fly up/down this gravel road. There is an "element" that goes up/down this road that is NOT a good one! There are run down trailers off this road, and the view of these trailers from the balcony, with the hot tub is not a good one. The trailer right behind this property have people that play loud music, and are quite boisterous at all hours. We could see where somone had tried to break into the property through the front door. There is a security system; but we were concerned. Folks from this trailer park even use the pools, as there is no supervision...We did not like the way we were looked at and watched if we were outside the property. This is not a property that we would recommend . The property could have been cleaner... We are used to taking our shoes off at the door. Our socks were filthy in no time. Had to call for trash bags, as there were no liners/trash bags in the property. Tom did take care of it right away though.The owners need to invest in some new towels, as when the current towels get wet after showering, there us a strong odor of mildew coming from them. We like that the property was not far from the main drag in Pigeon Forge. That was a plus! The contract to this property was the most cumbersome we have seen to date. I guess the main thing about this property, is that we did not feel real "safe". We have NEVER felt this way at any VRBO that we have stayed at in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area before! Feeling uneasy at a property is not a good thing...

lIKE A NEW HOUSE! Great location as it is close to the pk-way with groc stores and restuarants and all that goes w/it. Pool just around the corner. Hot tub on deck was a great way to relax at the end of the day. We want go back in the dead of winter and hope we get snowed in. Great price and a thousand times better than those one and two star motels/hotels in the area. GREAT PLACE. Take advantage of it.

Greatest Vacation ever!

This was by far one of my favorite vactions. The cabin was clean comfortable and quite. Everything we needed was provided and at our finger tips. The pool the hot tub and the view were fantastic. If you are looking for the perfect get away I highly recomend this cabin. I returned home with such a feeling of relaxation and calm.

1. Location - Superb, very very close to the main market and all the other attractions.
2. Cabin - very well maintained and cozy, gives a feeling of home.
3.When I plan to be in Smoky again I am going to look for this Cabin first, we really loved it.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this lovely cabin! I met a few girlfriends from several different locations, and we had a nice reunion. The location is PERFECT! It's so close to everything yet feels so completely isolated! The cabin was very clean and comfortable, with all the modern trappings in a pleasantly rural setting. We liked the cabin so much that we barely left it! Our last day in Pigeon Forge we stayed home and relaxed. It was nice to have a dog-friendly place as well... we all love bringing our furry friends with us on vacation! We loved the convenience of a key-code access to the house because we didn't have to worry about losing a key.

Great getaway

My family and I spent Thanksgiving and a few extra days in this wonderful home away from home. It was clean and comfortable. My mom and I were able to cook a complete Thanksgiving dinner with the kitchen supplies. My kids loved the jacuzzi tub upstairs and the hot tub outside. It was in great proximity to Pigeon Forge. The only negative would be the nearby mobile home park with the constant traffic in and out and the kids who liked to use the street in front of the house to skateboard. Overall, the positives definitely outway the negatives and we would stay here again.

Tom our vacation at Smoky Mountain Memories was definately one of the best vacation's we have ever had...a perfect location to everything that there is to do in the Smoky Mountain's ! Any activity or attraction you could ever wont to do was so close..We celebrated my father's 76th birthday at Calhoun's Resturant great food and then went to County Tonite show , which was awesome . Great family entertainment. Tom was wonderful to work with and i have already recommended this cabin to my friends..

Tom..Our visit to your cabin was very nice.. You're place is beautiful ( picture's don't do it justice) you really need to work on the picture's..We had a great time visiting Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge... Fall in the Smoky's is breathtaking the leaves were beautiful..We went to Ober Gatlinburg snow tubing and had a ball, riding the tram was so exciting for the kids. We ate at Cherokee Grill in Gatlinburg and the Old Mill in Pigeon Forge both had terriffic food highly recommmend..We will be coming back this spring and will be calling you to make our reservation's...

Tom your cabin is beautiful inside we loved having the 2 king beds and the large Jacuzzi in the upstais was heavenly loved it ! ..The kitchen had everything that we needed , we will never go back to renting a motel after seeing what all you get by renting a cabin..We really loved the location being so close to everything we wonted to see and do..What a wonderfu vacation we had could not have been better...

What a wonderful time we had at Smoky Mountain Memorie's ...We have been to the Smoky Mountain's lot's of time over the year's and have never been entertained by the Bear's before they put on a great show for us...They were so beautiful a mama and 3 Cub's..The Cub's was so much fun watching them cimb the tree's from the back deck in Smoky Mountain Memorie's..i know that this was a once in a lifetime thing setting on the deck watching them but it was a wonderful memorie that we will all cherish a lifetime...This cabin is totaly awesome and the owner's so nice and friendy..What a vacation we had !

BEARS are hanging out in the back in the wood's a big mama bear and her 3 cub's we watched them from the deck it was so GREAT..LOVED watching the cub's playing and climbing the tree's NEVER HAVE I ENJOYED staying in a cabin so much it was wonderfull...We will be back gosh we all hated to leave the kid's cried cause they wouldn't get to watch these bears no more...It was the PERFECT vacation.

We loved staying in your cabin it was great,comfortable ans so nice that we could bring our Dog.We highly recommend white water rafting and ziplining.We wish we had time for Kayak too.The highlight was definitley white water rafting.Saw Bear's at Cade's Cove .. Great resturant's was Calhouns,The Mill and Carinos..We had a great time and wish we could have stayed longer we will definitly tell all our friend's about this cabin...

We had a great time at your cabin.Our kids are ready for thier driver's licence after all the go-cart racing they've done.Rafting was the highlight of the trip..However the very best part was being together and your cabin facilitated that and for that we are very grateful..

Our stay here was very comfortable.We felt right at home.The weather was stormy our weekend here.but we still managed to swim and use the hottub.There is so much to do in Pigeon Forge.We visited the Titanic,Dixie Stampede,and the Aquarium.The girl's loved shopping at Tanger's.Your collection of video's also came in handy when it was stormy in the evening..Thank's again for making it a nice vacation for our family..

Thank you so much for sharing your Cabin with my family & me over our Spring Break.It was a beautifu weekend and we were able to do a lot of things.We went to Gatlinburg to the Skylift.then ate at Blane's for a quick bite...Then me and my Dad rode the tram to Ober Gatlinburg that was really cool& there are a lot of cool things to do there.The whole family had a blast.Another thing we checked out was Wonderwork's it was fun.I held my hand in the water from the Titanic for 5 minutes,think you can beat me? We also went to the arcade,and went mini-golfing twice..Thanks again.

We realy enjoyed our stay at your cabin.We (the Mom & Dad)got the whoe upstairs and that in it's self was terrific!We looked at some other place's we could have stayed,and we are thrilled we went with you.Accomadtions were great,we had everything we needed.Loved the large jacuzzi bathtub.We shopped at little,went to near by cities,the Gatinburg Space Needle,Sky Lift and the Lost Sea Cavern's.But mostly we just relaxed and it was heavenly.You can be sure we will call and stay again !

What a great cabin!!!! Perfect location - VERY close to the activity, but not in the middle of the craziness. Clean and comfortable, it was a great place to come "home" to every night. Loved the jacuzzi....needed it more after shopping with my daughter than hiking in the park, :) Tom and Lois were so very nice to deal with. It was a little too warm out to use the hot tub, but it did look inviting. Our trip was perfect and this cabin was part of the reason. Thanks!!

Tom..We had a wonderful vacation at your beautiful cabin..We loved being so close to everything..hate spending all my time driving in the traffic ..You provided everything we could have ever needed for a vacation..the cabin is so peaceful,cozy, we felt right at home..We had a picnic at the picnic area at the pool its really great to be able to set in a covered area out of the hot sun and watch the kids swimming..Woodridge Village is a beautiful resort you feel like you are way out in the country but only 1 mile from the parkway..I will highly recommend your cabin to all my friends and family..Hope to be back real soon...

We had a awesome time at Smoky Mountain Memories..The location is perfect to take in all the shopping and the activities of Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg..We enjoyed the beauty of the Smokies as we hiked to Grotto Falls,Clingmans Dome ,Abrams Falls & Laurel Falls ( we saw a mother bear and her 3 cubs-AWESOME !!! ) we sure loved the Hotub that night...LOL..Your cabin is so homey and equipped with everything we needed and your cleaners are awesome..we will be back soon

Tom we had a terriffic time at Smoky Mountain Memories...we loved the location on the cabin..We have rented cabins over several years and have never got a cabin for the price you charge per night ..that had the perfect location to visit all the attraction's, and had such nice ammenities as your's does..The pictures on the internet don't do your cabin justice (you really need to work on them) LOL...We loved watching the snow and setting in front of the fireplace so cozy & homey ..felt so private but so near everything..We had a wonderful time and look foward to coming back.....Thank You !!!

Our stay at Smoky Mountain Memories was wonderful just way to short hated to leave.The cabin is beautiful so cozy,clean and well equipped with everything we needed.The twins loved the large oversized jacuzzi they thought they had there very own indoor swimming pool...LOL...I guess the best thing IMHO is the location so close to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg so convenient for Dollywood,Shopping,Dinning out..it was a perfect mini-vacation....We will be back but a longer stay next time..

We were pleasantly surprised at the wonderful decor and comfortable furnishings at Smoky Mountain Memories..The cabins location was perfect for our vacation, love not being on steep mountain roads or 5 miles or more out from the attractions of Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg..My mother-in-law was happy about the step in shower on the main floor & the level driveaway and easy access into the cabin she is 80 years old and cant get around to good any more...The kids was wild about the WII game we all had a wonderful vacation...We will be back soon !

We have rented several different cabins in the Smoky Mountain before and your cabin exceeded the rest by far..It afforded us ever feature we could have wonted in a cabin rental..and then some...Smoky Mountain Memories is in immaculate condition and obviously very well taken care of.The quality and condition of all the amenities surpassed our expectations.The location & cabin could not have been ...exactly the get away we needed! Wow! What a wonderful time in the smokies.Our first trip but will not be our last.We hiked in the great Smoky Mountain National Park and went to Dixie Stampede " Great Show & Dinner" and enjoyed spending time in the cabin.This place is beautiful,well-equipped with everything and so clean. Its so homey , warm, inviting LOVED IT!

Just wonted to say thanks for a wonderful stay at Smoky Mountain Memories.We've stayed at several different cabins in the area and this was one of the cleanest and well kept cabins we have ever stayed in.We only got to stay 3 nights,hated to leave...would love to come back real soon for a whole week.The ammenities and decorations were great.It was very romantic for our March getaway setting in front of the beautiful stacked stone gas fireplace while watching the 32 in LCD TV was terrific.Tom you and Lois were extremely courteous,professional and a pleasure to work with.We really LOVED the location PERFECT!!!
