We loved this place! It is a perfect location near downtown and a short distance from the University of Arizona. The large patio area is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. The pool and spa are a plus! The kitchen is well-stocked and the entire place is very clean. The owners obviously love their home and keep it well-maintained. The decorations are an eclectic mix of the sourthwest and hispanic cultures and we loved the Halloween decor. Everywhere we looked we found another interesting art piece. Another plus is that it is very close to one of our favorite Tucson restaurants, El Charro (authentic southwest, hispanic cuisine). We had a variety of ages staying here (from early 20s to 70s) and all thought it was a perfect place. We were even able to have some family friends over for a barbecue and they loved it, too! The owners were very prompt in answering my questions prior to our arrival and while we weren't able to meet them in person, they were quite nice on the phone and through emails. I definitely will recommend this property to my family and friends for their stay in Tucson. And the next time I need a place for multiple people to stay in Tucson, I definitely will look this home up first!

What a great two weeks we have had here at 233 n main. Weather just about perfect, as was the back yard setting. places to read, sit, sun bathe, swim, Jaccuzzi-it, hang up laundry .. Thanks for making all this possible Kristi and Mary Jo and Klaus and Jija. The house suited our needs and Downtown Tucson setting an unexpected pleasure.

Perfect spot to base a Tucson golf trip from. Very well furnished interior (TV, kitchen stock and bedding all are an A+) and a back yard to die for. Pool, spa, fountains and landscaping makes you just want to stay there all day. Convenient location for walking to restaurant and bars in downtown and the upstairs owners are friendly, knowledgeable and very hospitable. Book it, you'll love it!
Recommended for: families with young children, girls getaway, pet-friendly, tourists without a car

This is an old historic house with lots of charm and character. Unique rooms well furnished, beautiful courtyard with plenty of seating, pool and hot tub. Easy access to freeway and within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and historical points of interest. Owners make sure you are comfortable in surroundings.
Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

This was a grat house to hold a family reunion. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The Wii was a great game to play. I really appreciated the owners they were very accomadating to our needs. Thank you for the going out of your way to assist my Mom and I during this time in our lives. This will be a memory she will nevery forget.

This was a great vacation for us. The kids rally enjoyed the Wii and band hero collection.. The hot tub was wonderful at this time of the year. Thanks alot fot the restaurant suggestions, we enjoyed! The kids will miss your wonderful and social dog Klaus .

This was a trip of a lifetime. We had such a wonderful time I just cannot explain. I wish we could have had a little more time to relax by the pool but the softball was very time consuming. The house was fantastic and the dogs were awesome, it made us miss our little Bailee who was left home in wisconsin. Mary Jo was so helpful , what a wonderful woman. I will definately recommend the house and maybe we will be able to come back again.

I can not stress enough how wonderful the ladies were and how comfortable the lodging were.
It got to the point that I felt I'd known Mary Jo for years and I love her very much. The dogs became friends too and I would not hesitate to recomment the place to anyone. A beatiful location too, an easy walk to the Tucson Museum of Art which was a revelation. The balmy weather in the winter reminded me of my home in Australia and I'm sure would be the perfect destination for US citizens who reside in colder climates at this time of the year. Thank you so much for a homeaway from home.
