Everything we expected and more

This rental is the way to go whether you are a group, couples or family. We were excited about our vacation and rental before we left, but upon arrival we were blown away by Casa Tulipan. It is very spacious, clean, comfortable, not to mention beautiful. There are three bedrooms with beds big enough for a couple, a large fulle equiped kitchen, and a nice dining open area. We fit 6 adults and two children at the table without any trouble. We also loved the location as it was far enough away from the busy centre to be calm and Mexican, but close enough to go there when ever we needed. Perfect for us with two little children. The beach is beautiful for tanning, swimming, surfing. playing in the sand, and watching the famous Puerto Escondido sunset. There is a small "down-town" by La Punta with lots of Mexican fare and rapidly growing with other shops and restaurants. Taco stand kiddy corner to the rental is AWESOME. Housekeeper and landlord are both super nice.
In the evenings there are mosquitoes; the beds are all protected with netting, but I recommend purchasing repellent.
Overall, we would definitely stay there again. Thank you, Maura.

Recommended for: families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

A Great Time

We had a wonderful time staying at your house, lounging around, eating, drinking... We tried many restaurants as well as cooked at home after buying fish, shrimp, vegies at the mercado.

Holiday 5 week stay

Our trip in the Casa Tulipan have been a real pleasure. All was so beautifull. Jake is realy kind and helpfull. Cleo is also kind and realy clean! We enjoyed so much and we will refered our friends to you if some want to go to Puerto Escondido.

Thank you very much for all and we hope have the pleasure to come back to Escondido in next years.
