My family had a wonderful time at "suite view " last weekend. The unit truly exceeded our expectations. It was bright, nicely decorated, spacious for our family of four, and super clean. The hotel staff was friendly and professional as well and the complex grounds, pools and hot tubs seemed to be clean and well kept. We were also pleased with the quick check in at the front desk and loved the convenience of the keyless entry. Thanks for offering a great vacation condo for a great value. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay in this unit.Communication with the owner was great and reservation was easy. Check-in was quick and easy. The unit was very clean and neat upon arrival. Though it is very small and our family of 5 had difficlty moving around during the day, sleeping arrangements were very comfortable.The bed in the bedroom was a dream! The bunkbeds were comfortable for our two youngest boys, ages 8 and 10, and the futon couch was very comfortable for our 12 year old son who is the size of any 16 year old.We did not need to pull out the hide-a-bed, so I can't say anything about it's comfort. Since we were out and about during the day doing other activities, this unit served our purpose very well.
I would suggest to any future guests, be sure to pack all house hold necessities, such as toilet tissue, paper towels, extra bath towels, etc. There was one bath towel per person in the unit, but since our stay was for 3 nights, it was necessary to run down stairs to the conveniently located laundry room and do a quick load. Also, the one roll of toilet tissue supplied was quickly depleated, but the unit is also conveniently located to a Wal-Mart literally just across the street, so there was an easy fix. This is also a nice alternative to packing all necessities.
Overall,this unit is very nice and would be perfect for a couple's get away. But for the price, it was just fine for our family of five as well.

This was our first stay at Suite View. The condo was very clean! We visited Galveston at the best time before Memorial Day, and the pools were and hot tubs were usually empty so that was awesome! The area was surprisingly quiet at night. Condo was proximal to a fishing pier and nearby restauraunts were within walking distance. We recently booked another stay at Suite View. We are excited to stay here again!

The condo was very nice. The complex was quiet and clean. The staff at the condo was very friendly and helpful. It is right across from the beach and in an area that is less hectic than a couple of blocks up the street. It is in the best location. I had a great time and would stay here again.

We arrived for a family Thanksgiving weekend on Wednesday afternoon to a very clean and nice condo. The views from the deck with a glass of wine was spectacular. It was close to the beach, stores and very convenient to everything we needed. The only glitch I had was that I brought all of the fixings to make Thanksgiving dinner and there wasn't an oven. That wasn't a big deal, there were 2 grocery stores and I just readjusted dinner plans. My entire family had a good time and would definitely rent the place again.

Owners response: The condo has a large microwave oven but not a convection oven. However, for future renters we are going to provide a counter top oven that would be able to roast a turkey or do any other oven baking or cooking.

I had a great time here. The condo was clean and comfortable. i will recommend it to anyone and i will book it again. The owners were kind, profesional and responded promptly to any questions i had.
Beautiful view from the balcony and you can get some owesome pictures too.

We enjoyed our stay in this condo very much. The space was just enough for our family of 4 (with 2 small children) and grandparents. Everything was ready and clean upon our arrival. Communication with the owner was flawless; he promptly responded to all emails. We highly recommend this condo and will try to rent it again when coming back to Galveston.

Dirty Upon Arrival but Owner was Professional

We arrived the condo around 4:30 PM on the day of check in after a day of travel and sightseeing ready to unpack and relax. The condo had not yet been cleaned from the previous guests. All beds were unmade. Trash cans full. Bathroom dirty with towels all over the place and no toilet paper. Refrig was still full of frozen leftover food from the previous guest. Dirty sponges stuck on kitchen sink. Cups full of pistachio seeds left about. The patio had trash (empty ice bags) all over and one of the two patio chairs was busted and left propped up in a corner so it would stand. I called the owner and he had the cleaning personnel there within 15 minutes. However, just having to deal with other peoples dirtiness was stressful and tapped into my vacation time. The carpet is very dirty and the entire condo could use a thorough cleaning. For the price we paid, overall the condo complex itself was nicely maintained and the both pools were well kept. The location was decent and the bed in the front bedroom was comfortable. This condo meet our needs for a place to sleep and shower. Due to the owners considerate and professional response to our situation upon arrival, I would recommend this property based on the owners resolve to correct the issue we experienced. The owner of this property is truly committed to their guests satisfaction.
Tips about Galveston- Ride ferry to Crystal beach. The beach here was very good and it seems that IKE has had a positive impact on the amount of trash that used to cover the beach. Avoid eating at Landry’s and the Spot. Landry’s has declined in quality and service from previous experiences and the Spot was just awful.

Owners response: The cleaning of the room was scheduled before the guest's arrival but the housekeeper made a mistake and didn't include it in her day's cleaning schedule. This is the only time this has ever happened, all other guests have been very complimentary about the condo as you can see in other reviews. We corrected the problem quickly (within 15 minutes) and refunded money for the inconvenience.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here at the Victorian Condos. The condo was spacious enough for our family of 5. Clean bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. Spacious patio overlooking the kid pool which my children enjoyed. Convienent location. My family and I will stay here again. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Time in Galveston

We went to Galveston to spend time with our son, his wife and our 2 yr old granddaughter before he leaves for Iraq. We live in Idaho and had never been to Texas. When I found this place and emailed Byron, he contacted me back quickly and answered all of my questions. The condo is right on the Seawall and is very clean and up to date. There is a warm pool for the adults with a beautiful waterfall and a pool for the kids, however this was very cold. The hot tub was great as well and everything was well kept and clean. The room was quiet and even though there were allot of cars in the parking lot on the weekend, we did not feel at all crowded. The room was very nice and had everything that we needed. You can walk or drive down the Seawall to get to the beach area. Lots of places to eat and shop close by. The only down side was not enough towels for 4 people for 4 days, but we did not have to pay for laundry service so we did our own in the laundry at the unit which was much less expensive and it worked great for us, so if you go just bring extra towels. Thank you again for a great stay Byron and I would recommend your place to anyone we had a great time.
