I would love to start with Beverly being an excellent person to deal with, she made our experience very easy to book and an easy person to reach when we had questions. The cabin is beautiful!! It is at the end of a lane that made it very quiet. The décor of the home is very nice and cozy. We will be returning in May 2013 with another set of friends and family and we hope this is open for this time period also. We will be returning. I cannot tell you how nice this cabin truly is and a break from reality for a few days. The beds are very comfortable, there are board games (a plus for us all), conveniently located to all attractions, the pool table & air hockey was a plus for everyone. Just spoke with Beverly again today to reserve for May, she is still so polite and a very nice lady to deal with.

Great Cabin

My husband and I met our son and wife and their two children in Tennessee for the Christmas holiday. The cabin was great. Very well equipped. The two small children enjoyed the downstairs two bedrooms and living room and games and called it their "apartment". We had plenty of room and plenty to do. It is not too far up the mountain so it was easy to get to. The views were fabulous. Four fireplaces were plenty to keep it cozy and warm! Very convenient to get to downtown where there is so much to do it was hard to pick what to do. Would recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking for a clean, comfortable and well-stocked cabin! Thank you so much and we are looking foward to coming back next year.

Thank you for letting us rent your beautiful cabin to celebrate my parent's 50th anniversary. Besides the surprise of the weekend with the reunion of family, they loved the cabin and the accommodations. The cabin is conveniently located to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We loved the spaciousness of the cabin. We loved the game room and the 3 level decks. Thank you Michael for making the weekend a memorable one for all of us.

Cabin was perfect...location was great, view was gorgeous, layout was awesome for family....lots of climbing up and down stairs to play games and reach other bedrooms but 1 bedroom available on main floor was very nice for guest that cannot climb. If baby on board, take security gates. Having a second living room down stairs was nice. Not many channels available on Direct TV for adults to watch (plenty for children) so rent or bring DVD's to watch for down time in cabin. Property was very clean and well maintained, plenty of towels available for use. Owner was immediately available, upon arrival, via phone for a couple of questions. The property is definitely worth going back to. Due to time of year, we did not use any of the resorts facilities. We attended the Hatfield and McCoy Dinner show, The Lumberjack Show, Cirque de Chine...out of the three Hatfield and McCoy was by far the best food, The Lumberjack was the best show. Cirque de Chine was ok but would not recommend. The $25 wrist band for 5 visits to Golf, Laser Tag, slick track racing was well worth purchasing. Our all time favorite place to eat in Pigeon Forge is The Old Mill. If you are used to sleeping with a fan, bring one from home for downstairs bedroom, no ceiling fan or TV in one of the rooms. Kroger's is conveniently located on the way to the cabin. Area of cabin was easy to find and very nicely located to get to attractions, entertainment and restaurants.

This was one of the best cabins we have stayed in so far. 3 family getaway with teenage girls. The bedrooms we great and it was nice for the girls to have their privacy. The hot tub was great. Not sure how it would be in the winter but we would stay here again and again. The only down falls were the TV (either we could not figure out how to watch some of the channels or they were just not available) an no internet (but we did get to feed off of one sometime at night). Thanks again for letting us stay here in your beautiful cabin.

A wonderful family get away!!

We just spent the weekend at Rocky Top and had a wonderful family time! Our family of 8 adults and three little ones had plenty of space and thoroughly enjoyed our time together that we could not possibly have had staying in a hotel. The cabin was beautifully decorated, clean, and provided all the amenities we could have asked for. Mike was excellent to work with and even called us on Friday evening to make sure everything met our expectations. I was very impressed with that! My husband and I have already decided that we want to rent this cabin for a week next time and enjoy some quiet time before the kids all come for the weekend! I highly recommend Rocky Top and have already done so to a lot of my friends! Thanks, Mike, for working with us so that we could enjoy a wonderful family weekend in the mountains!

My family of 9 adults and 3 babies (all 2 years old and under, had a fabulous stay at this cabin. We all said that we would come back again and have already reccomended it to other families. We were able to get an excellent rate even at such short notice. We had a total of 4 couples and 1 single (who slept on the futon). Each couple had their own space which was great too because of the children. Everything was excellent. Mike is so easy to work with and made sure that everything was satisfactory. We all enjoyed the pool table. The swimming pool is just a short 2 minute drive from the cabin. The cabin is very nicely located in relation to the attractions around town.
I would recomend bringing 2 gates for the stairs if you have small children.
Again we had a great time and highly reccomend this house!

This is a great cabin. We would definitely rent it again!
The cabin was beautiful! It was well maintained, very clean and the perfect size for our family of 8. We even had a little room to spare. The pool table, air hockey and fusbol were a hit with all. The 3 levels of deck allowed for beautiful views of the Smokey Mountains. The big kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, etc.-- all the things needed to eat in.
The location was great for both p
Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg attractions. It was located just minutes from each while still providing a log cabin retreat nestled in the mountains.
The owner, Mike, was a pleasure to work with. We were in contact with him through both email and phone. At all times he was both helpful and professional.
This was one of our best family vacations and will be recommending to family and friends.

Loved the cabin and had a great week there. Pigeon Forge was close by and easily accessible. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay with our 5 kids. The private pool area was a great plus as we heard a couple of nearby renters complaining that they only had the community pool available (5 or so miles away). The weather was rainy but the cabin had enough to do and a great layout to make it very enjoyable for our family of 7. The owner was very helpful throughout the reservation process and accessible via email which was very helpful. We will rent the same cabin again the future.

This was the best vacation I have ever spent with my family....my nephews!! The property was beautiful and accomodated all 7 of us. Michael was wonderful in providing good customer service. He provided us with an excellent rental rate. He did not stop there. He made sure that we were satisfied and that we had arrived safely and were happy with the cabin. It was beautiful and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We really did not want to leave when the time came. The cabin provided something for everyone. Hot tub, swimming pool, rockers on the deck....games for the family to play. My nephew enjoyed the pool table best of all. It was on top of the mountain and provided a spectacular view. I can hnestly say that the peacefulness was exactly what I needed. We were close enough to town to enjoy outside activities. I highly recommend this property. Michael is the best to work with. We will be coming back!!!

This was absolutey one of the best vacations we have ever experienced!!! Michael was wonderful to deal with and gave us such a super deal on the cabin rental. He made sure that our vacation had all the comforts of home. The cabin was great. The cabin had everything we could possibilly need. Located on top of the mountain was just awesome!!! It was in a great location only a short distance from town. It was quiet and very relaxing. Pigeon Forge offered something for everyone in our party. Most of all we looked forward to getting back to the cabin each evening. This vacation rated A+ with my entire family. Thanks Michael for being so accomodating. We look forward to returning next year!! I highly suggest that you try this cabin. It was the best!!!!

We stayed at the cabin for a week.It was our first trip to Tennessee and was
hoping for a view of the smokies so we were a little disappointed.
We had some trouble with scorpions in the lower level and also thought the cabin could have been cleaner.
It was a nice vacation though and we did alot of things.
Cades Cove is a must! The views are beautiful.

This cabin was everything we were looking for and more!! The three levels was perfect for privacy if you wanted it and still be close to everyone too. Very clean and convenient to everything!!! We truly could not think of a better place to stay, we are in love with this place! We just got home and my son already wants to know when we can go back to our new home!! Can't wait to stay again! Hopefully soon!!

Great cabin, great time

We looked at over a hundred cabins and landed on this one. And it was the best decisions we made ever during all of our vacations. The cabin was on top of a mountain, yet still convinient. We love it that the bedrooms are at different levels so that everyone could have their privacy while staying together. It was beautifully and tastefully decorated, clean and well-equipped. We love it that it was all wood, even the walls.
We had six kids ranging from 4 to 15 in our group. All of them enjoyed the cabin. At the end of a long day out in the mountains and with activities, everyone looked forward to coming back to this little piece of heaven.
Thanks Mike for a great home away from home for us. Like our kids said on your guest book: Best time ever!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying in this cabin. The cabin is absolutely beautiful. It was even better than the description. It was great having our bedrooms on separate levels. We could enjoy family time and private time. The pool table, air hockey, and foosball were an added bonus. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the decks and looking at the beautiful view. Michael was really great to rent from and it was so easy to take care of everything with one phone call. We are already looking forward to spending our next vacation here. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends.

Great Vacation In the Smoky Mountains

Wow!!! We had a great time in this wonderful cabin. All 10 of my kids loved it! The cabin was clean, well equipped, and beautiful. The AC, kitchen appliances, TV's, hot tub, all worked great! The resort area is beautiful with a really nice view. It is close to most of the stuff we wanted to do in the Smokys. I would love to come back again. This cabin was somewhat special for the Black Bear Ridge Resort as it was on the end of a drive which gave us extra privacy and parking space. The owner worked with us on a great rate and we were super happy with our week long vacation!!

Just fell in love with this cabin, beautiful clean and breathtaking views. Cabin was very clean and affordable with great ammenities, the kids had a blast. Owner was very accomodating and prices were affordable. Will definately stay here again our next visit to Tennessee. lastly cabin was very close to most attractions.

What a great spacious cabin with electric fireplaces so you get the feel of the heat without the mess. Almost too much room. TOP of the mountain. Owner aims to please. Will definetley stay here again!!!!
