I Love this Condo

We could not have asked for a better stay on South Padre Island. The photos do not do this property justice. It is very well decorated, clean and comfortable. The owner was very prompt in securing my reservation and communicating with me any time I had a question. His recommendations for restaurants were very helpful as well. I have been recommending this property to all of our relatives and coworkers because I was so impressed. The bed and couch were very comfortable. The condo is immaculate. The owner thought of everything including a dehumidifier which made the atmosphere inside the condo very comfortable (other beach rentals we have stayed in can get a little muggy or humid). We followed the advice of other reviewers and brought wasch cloths but when we arrived we found that the condo had some and actually there was nothing we that we needed to supply for ourselves outside of toiletries and food. We are planning to stay here again on our next trip to South Padre. Thanks Mario!

The restaurants we would recommend are, first and foremost, Manuel's ( worth the drive to Port Isabel), Chef's, Daddy's, Dirty Al's and we absolutely had the best time at Clayton's. The food at Claytons is good and the live bands were a lot of fun.

Cute Condo with Amazing View of the ocean

Arrived to a beautifully decorated condo right off the ocean in South Padre. The condo was beautifully decorated inside with a beach theme. The balcony was large with several chairs and a table to sit at. The owners were amazing; they called upon arrival to make sure we got checked in and a couple of more times during our stay to make sure everything was good. Everything was provided in the kitchen to cook and serve meals. The location of the condo was perfect. We were close to the largest bar in Padre, close to the ocean and restaurants. The entire time we were down there we were trying to figure out our next vacation down in South Padre in this condo. Thank you for everything and we look forward to staying again soon.

Great Vacation

My husband, 6 year old son, and myself recently stayed in Mario's condo for 7 nights. This was our first time visiting South Padre Island, and we loved it. The condo was great. The description and pictures were very accurate. My son loved the Murphy bed and the King size bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary items needed to prepare meals. There is a Wal-Mart located close by where you can purchase anything you might need during the stay. We bought groceries and fixed most of our meals at the condo. Mario was very easy to work with and checked in on us during our stay at the condo. He wanted to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We really appreciated the extra effort he put into making us comfortable.

We arrived at the end of Holy Week which brings several extra people to the beach. We had difficulty finding parking over the weekend due to the extra traffic in the area. After the weekend passed, parking was excellent for the remainder of our stay. There are many things to do on the island or you can just relax on the beach. My husband and son went on a fishing trip which they really enjoyed. We also went on the Black Dragon Pirate Cruise. This is a great cruise for children. It is very interactive for the whole family.

There were a few minor issues but they did not effect our vacation. Wash clothes are not provided, so we bought and 18 pack at
Wal-Mart for $4 to use while there. If you have a child, I would recommend you pack a small hand held broom and dust pan or buy one when you get there. This would have come in handy during our stay. It would have made cleaning up a little easier.

We would definitely recommend this condo. There was plenty of space for the 3 of us. It is located just steps from the beach with easy access. Thank you Mario for sharing your home with us. We greatly enjoyed our vacation and I'm sure we will be in contact in the future.

Relaxing Getaway on South Padre

We spent a wonderful week in this lovely condo on South Padre Island.

First, Mario, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. He took a genuine interest in making sure that our vacation would be perfect. Great communication from before we signed the contract until after we had turned in our keys and left. He's a very nice guy with a beautiful property, & we'd be happy to rent from him again.

The condo is just as the photos show. It is neat, clean, and nicely decorated. The ambience is very peaceful. The balcony has a terrific view. It is a shady place to sip a cup of coffee in the morning and listen to the waves, and in the afternoon, the balcony gets full sun. The kids (ages 10 & 13) liked to have dinner outside & play board games on the bar-height table after a day at the beach.

The pool is very close, just within the courtyard. It is immaculate, as are the grounds. The pool was a fairly quiet place... While the kids swam, I relaxed on a chaise lounge and read. We were surrounded by palm trees & hibiscus. In late March, most of the other residents of the Tiki were retirees, but our kids did meet a couple of other midwestern families with children to play with. The pool was nice & warm as well.

The Tiki is located on the quiet north end of town, which was perfect. We visited the Sea Turtle Rescue Center, which is just across the main strip from the complex. I also purchased a week-long pass to the SPI Birding & Nature Center, which has lovely boardwalks for a peaceful morning or sunset walk where you will definitely see an abundance of wildlife. Perfect spot for birders & lots of sightings of South Texas birds that you won't see elsewhere.

There are several restaurants very close by, but the condo is fully equipped to allow renters to cook their own meals. A small IGA market is just down the street, and a big WalMart & HEB supermarket are just across the causeway -- Very easy to keep a stocked kitchen. You can walk next door to Claytons for a burger for either lunch or dinner. Other casual restaurants are just down the street.

We hope to stay again next year in this condo during our spring vacation. It is a perfect spot for a family, a retired couple, or anyone who is looking for a relaxing getaway on South Padre. Thank you to Mario V. and his family for being such delightful hosts. A+

Perfect choice

All you would have to do is look at the number of reviews to know that this is an excellent choice. We have been here for 5 weeks and and the place is perfect.
The location is amazing, the condo is updated, clean and has everything you need. The furniture and the bed are comfortable. There is a large south facing deck, that has a patio door in the living room and the bedroom. Part of the deck does get shade in the afternoon for when you have had enough sun. This is an older complex, but it is well maintained. The pools are clean and nice and warm. There is plenty of updated pool furniture. Thank you For sharing your home. We will be back next year.

View Of The Beach--Awsome!!!

Nice and clean. Mario called to make sure everything was ok. The few from the deck was great!!! Sat out every morning having my coffee. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful. We would recommend this property to everyone. The best part, the beach is right there for my shell hunting every morning! Loved It!!!

This condo was so close to the beach with a great view of the ocean. It was very clean and easy to stay in. Also, it was pet friendly as is the whole island. We had everything we needed to make our stay great. Also the onsite pool was in great shape and very clean for the days when you did not want to be at the beach.
We even got to know our neighbors in the 2 weeks we were here. We got to know more about the island and would recommend the island culture to travelers. It is a laid-. back culture so it is easy to relax. We also liked watching the kite surfers from our balcony. Winter Texans Come On Down To South Padre and This Condo!

I loved the condo! Thanks for the hospitality and a great stay. This condo was perfect! You can tell the Villarreals take pride in their home. It was very clean and welcoming! There were also many extra amenities that made the stay easier and more pleasant. I also appreciated Mario making everything hassle free and quick! He even called to make sure we got checked in ok and that everything was going well. I would recommend this condo to anyone.

Best Birthday Gift Ever!

My son and his wife paid for three days in this beautiful condo for my birthday. It's the best birthday gift I could ever have asked for. I loved the beautiful view from the balcony, the modern and fashionable condo equipped with everything we needed to cook at home, the spacious and upgraded bathroom, and the comfortable bed for 9 hours of sleep every night! I don't want to wait for my next birthday to stay at this lovely condo--I want to stay a week! We had perfect weather and spent lots of time of the beautiful beach just steps away from our door. Thanks again to the owners who were in touch with us when we arrived as well as when we checked to make sure our stay was perfect. Can't wait to come back!

Just right!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this condo for 5 nights in September 2012. Padre Island is quieter during the school year so the beach is not as crowded. This property is located near the northern end of the island which is less congested and it had the added benefit of being right across the street from the sea turtle rescue organization and the birding center, both of which we visited during our stay. The condo itself is quite roomy and well appointed. It is clean and bright and welcoming. Each morning we sat on the balcony with our coffee or headed down to the beach just a few steps away to watch the sunrise. We were able to rent an umbrella and chaises for sitting on the beach and they were waiting for us each morning. Just needed to go out there and plop ourselves down! Lots of great bird-watching, people hang gliding, warm water and refreshing breezes. Our favorite time to sit out was right around sundown--the magic hour. We also appreciated Mario's attention to our needs and his making sure everything was going alright with our stay. Thanks Mario for the little extras like the bucket for the foot dip at the front door. We had a very relaxing vacation--just the ticket!

The ocean balcony view was amazing!!

The condo was very nice and clean. Mario was very helpful during our stay and was easy to get in contact with. The condo is less than one minute from the beach. The two pools were nice as well. The ocean balcony view was amazing especially at sunset and sunrise. The Condo was further down the island so it wasn't overcrowded and the addition of Claytons Bar and Grill right next door was very convenient. Overall it was a very nice place and we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

I can't say enough about this condo rental! The Villareals have provided a nice, clean, convenient, safe place to stay when visiting S. Padre. Very comfortable furnishings, flat screen TV's with Direct TV, fully equipped kitchen, large patio with an awesome view, and pet friendliness make us want to return. Great location on the beach in the Tiki Condos which also have two pools. Mario even called to make sure things were going well! Excellent customer service all the way around! Thank you to the Villareal family for making this a well remembered vacation for us!

This was our first vacation to South Padre Island. What a treat it was to stay in this condo. It was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and right on the beach. I loved that it was on the third floor. This gave a fabulous view of the beach . The property was clean and well-maintained. Mario checked in as we arrived and when we left, to ensure our stay was pleasant. The restaurants recommended by Mario were excellent. I noticed the relaxed, friendly attitude displayed by all the restaurant servers. Everyone was pleasant and easy to deal with. My children loved the easy beach access and the condo swimming pools. The condo kitchen was well stocked with supplies, making it easy to cook during our stay. We had a great vacation staying at this beach paradise.

The condo was beautifully decorated. The pictures offered on the website did not do the place justice; it was much more than we had expected. The view from the balcony was amazing and the walk to the beach was just a few steps down the stairs. Claytons Bar next door had nightly live entertainment as well as great food and drinks. The owner was eager to help with anything we needed, however, there was nothing more that we could have asked for. I would highly recommend renting the condo, as the price was comparable to any hotel room on the beach, but had so much more to offer. Hope to visit again next summer.

Truly enjoyed our stay

We truly enjoyed our stay in the condo. Leading up to our visit, we looked at all of the photos of the condo and wondered if the pictures were true to life. They were. Our kids slept in the Murphy bed, they loved being able to watch TV in bed. The master bedroom was wonderful with a sliding door out to the balcony. It was nice to hear the sound of the waves in the morining and evening.
We ate most of our meals on the balcony with the ocean in view. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. The bathroom was very nice. You will be able to see all the nice details that the Villarreals put into every room of the condo. The best part of the condo is that it is less that a 2 minute walk from the front door of the room. The decorations of the condo made us feel as if we were in a very expensive hotel.
We would recommend the Villarreals condo to all of our frends planning a trip to SPI.
If you have small kids we highly recommend the Black Dragon Pirate Cruise. It was very kids and adult friendly and it was the highlight of our trip.

This was a vacation that our kids will talk about for years to come. Mario was very helpful throught the entire experience from the time we booked the trip, during the trip and afterwards. He called me the first day we arrived to make sure that we got checked into the room and also to make sure everything was fine. That just shows the care he has for everyone that stays in his condo.

We rented this condo for a week for our family vacation. This was our 1st trip to S. Padre Island. Communication with the owner was A+ as well as the accomidations at the condo. The owner called us a few hours after we arrived to see if we needed anything. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bed is by far the most comfortable bed we have EVER slept in. The condo is much bigger then what we expected by the photos and it is obvious the owner wants you to feel at home when you rent their condo. The property is well maintained and there was securitythat walked the grounds to ensure anyone parking at the complex or using the pools had the appropriate permission to be there. The staff was very nice and friendly. We will return to S. Padre Island and we will rent this condo again!

Beach access is literally less then 1 minute from stepping out of the front door. If the beach is not your thing you are also the same distance from the pool. There are many activities within walking distance for all age groups.

Thank you to the owners for allowing us to rent the condo and for providing us with A+ accomidations, A+ customer service, and A+ communication. I would not hesitate to recommend this condo to anyone! Thank You!

Adorable Condo

I rented this very nice condo for a week. It was very nice and clean and we didn't want or need for anything during our stay. The pools are very nice, the property is well maintained, the staff were very friendly. During our stay, the owner checked in to ensure we didn't need anything.

Getting to the beach in less than 30 seconds, also makes this an ideal vacation spot. We went next door to the bar and grill, the food was good and the enterainment was also good.

I highly recommend this condo for anyone wishing to go to So Padre.

Great place for R&R

The pictures on HomeAway accurately reflect what we found when we opened the door to this beachfront condo. Very clean, efficient 1 bedroom 1 bath, newly updated kitchen, bath, furnishings and bed, cheerful colors on walls, comfortable sofa and 2 big screen TVs. The porch is fantastic, partial shade at all times of day, great view of the Gulf. Unit is quiet with solid construction. The owner is very responsive and the front desk helpful. Birding Center walkways right across the street make for great sunset walks to check out the wildlife. Turtle Rescue Center also across the street. A few restaurants within walking distance along with a liquor store and small market make for excellent location at the quieter northern end of the island. Beach is highly walkable, flat and stretches for miles. Dogs are allowed on leashes. Found a few gems at the Paragraphs Bookstore and delicious food at Cafe Kranzler, great pesto and chef very flexible to special dietary needs. Grapevine Restaurant opens early and has a lot of gluten-free options. Can't wait to return!

Five star experience

When we arrived at our unit our first impression was that we were walking into our own home.It was very clean,tidy and well decorated with pictures and wall hangings.The unit is well equipped with all the essentials for home cooking as
well as a washer/dryer, iron/ironing board etc.It is quite spaceous with a patio door off the living room. The king sized bed is nice as well as the patio
door off the bedroom. The balcony offerred an excellent view of the beach area.
Being situated near the end of all the busy hotels meant not having to deal with hordes of people while still being in walking distance of restaurants, grocerery/convenience stores etc. If you like to party there is a nice outdoor bar close by.If you do not have a car, there is a FREE bus service covering
South Padre and Port Isabel that you can catch at the end of the street.We found the owners of the unit to be very freindly and accomodating and highly recommend it as a vacation getaway.

February Retreat

The condo was everything as described on the rental sites. The owner has made several improvements and has kept in contact with us to make sure everything was going smoothly. The ocean view from the balcony and the continue breese will be sure to please any guest. The unit was very clean and well maintained.

We would recommend Daddy's for seafood and Gabriels for pizza. Teds was a good place for breakfast. We enjoyed the walks on beach, the fishing from jetti, the boat tour of the Brownsville ship yard, the turtle rescue, and the trips to Progresso Mexico.

We chose the perfect place to stay on SPI

My husband and I are frequent travelers and we often rent a home through web sites like VRBO. We spend a lot of time reading through the details and reviews before making up our mind. This was by far the best decision we made. This unit is better than it's description and had all the amenities we needed. The wifi wasn't working when we first arrived but they were working on upgrades, so it was fine the rest of the month. The owners have this condo tastefully decorated and pay a lot of attention to fine detail. The kingsize bed is one of the most comfortable we've ever slept on. It's in an older complex but when you walk in you are just in awe. The grounds and the unit are meticulously maintained. It is on the 3rd floor with lots of steps to go up so be prepared. The view of the ocean and the listening to the pounding of the surf make it all worth it. The unit is on the south side so plenty of sun shines onto the balcony in the afternoon unlike the units in front or on the north side where it's mostly shady. We recommend Clayton's Beach Bar nextdoor for a delicious hamburger and happy hour from 3p-6p. Our favorite restaurant was Blackbeard's and we would go on Monday night when they run their specials on steak. The owner, Mario, was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He is outstanding in communicating any time we needed to and he also calls to check with you upon arrival to make sure everything is okay. He is just the nicest person and wants to make sure you're completely satisfied. In fact we loved it so much we made our reservations to return next year. We stay for a month and it is the best so why look for anything else.

Fantastic Value

This is a very nice condo in a great location. The pictures provided are accurate, but really is much more spacious than it looks in the photos. The balcony is more than adequate in size. We even had our two dogs with us, and it didn't seem crowded!

The kitchen is well stocked, we were able to cook a nice Christmas turkey dinner without problems! Be aware that there is no automatic dishwasher.

The bed and other furniture is indeed, very comfortable. Very easy to settle in and relax. The location is great--away from the touristy area just enough, with the beach just a shout from the condo.

Even though it was Christmas, the grounds were kept very clean and the outside trash cans were always empty when we had to dispose of our extra trash! It seems to be in a very safe area, we walked to several places without any issues.

The bar next to the condos is expanding with good food and lots of seating. They have beach volleyball nets up as well.

Mario is very interested in making sure everything is ok, and you won't have to worry about a thing. I would definitely rent here again.

Fantastic Newly Remodeled and Up-To-Date Condo with Balcony... Highly Recommended

My wife and I had never stayed on vacation to anywhere other than a hotel, so we were a little apprehensive about renting a condo online. However, it was better than either of us imagined, and all of our fears diminished quickly. The Villarreals ask you to treat the property like home, and it absolutely felt like it, other than the beautiful beach decor and the sound of waves just outside. We really enjoyed ourselves, and look forward to staying here again on our next visit. The condo is well stocked with the basic amenities of any kitchen, the furniture is very comfortable, and the bed is luxurious. We slept in till past 9am each day! That's something we can never do at home. Remember, there is a pool behind the unit (we didn't find it until our last day).

Overall, I think renting this condo really made our vacation the relaxing retreat we had hoped for. We really appreciated Mario calling us after check-in to assume everything was satisfactory, and called after check-out for additional feedback. We went for Thanksgiving and it was very nice. Great location to the beach!!!! We loved Clayton's too!

Nice and clean....comfortable bed which is always important. The property and condo was clean and well maintained. The cable reception was bad, but we figured it was due to the high winds. We spent most of our time outside anyway. Loved the balcony! The heated pool was a nice treat too.

We would stay here again!!

We stayed at the Tiki condo and were extremely satisfied. The accomodations were comfortable and clean. The view was phenominal for both sunrise and sunset. The only negative was the cable reception and I spoke with other owners who, unfortunately, were experiencing the same. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed our stay ans would recommend this unit for anyone wanting a great SPI experience. Mario, thanks and hope to visit again.

25th Anniversary

My husband and I booked this condo for our 25th wedding anniversary and we were very pleased. We booked our trip around the Sand Castle Building event and the event was just a few steps down the beach along with a fun beach bar. We had a great time. The condo was full of everything we needed and very comfortable and affordable. I would definitely go back and stay at this condo again.

Best Vacation Ever

This rental was really great. The listing didn't do justice to the condo as it was just beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. They had every gadget anyone might need. It's only a few steps to the beach and the water was perfect - warm and clear, even in October! Our favorite thing to do was to just walk for miles along the beach, pick up shells and watch the beautiful array of birds. I never slept better - it was like sleeping in my own bed. The first night we arrived, the owner called us to make sure we were comfortable. He was very attentive to our needs. Next time I stay at SPI, I will definitely stay here and will highly recommend it to my friends and family. We also went dancing right down the street at Isla Grand and stayed until they ran us off. There's so much to do at SPI.

Good Experience

We stayed at this condo for a week and had a great time. The description and pictures are accurate. The condo is very cute and clean, perfect for a couple. The bed is very comfortable and there is a full kitchen to cook if you don't want to go out. There isn't a dishwasher, so bring paper plates/cups if you don't want to wash the dishes by hand. There were a couple of toilet paper rolls, a box of tissues, two trash bags, and dish soap provided. So bring extra of these if you are going to be there more than a couple days.

The condo is right across from the Sea Turtle Rescue (a must visit) at the quiet end of the island. Great location. The view from the balcony is also great, looking out to the ocean. If mobility is an issue, the condo is on the 3rd floor with no elevator.

WiFi worked great. No problems with it.

We did have a little trouble getting hot water for a couple of days, but the front desk said it was being worked on and to keep trying it thoughout the day. No one's fault, we just had to take a couple of cold showers.

A lot of the condo has been updated. The tub/shower needs to be replaced and the couches weren't very comfortable. Overall, we had a good experience at this condo. Mario had great communication throughout the process and was very helpful. For the price and location, if you don't need anything fancy, this condo is a great option.

Although The Tiki is an older complex, it had all the amenities we wanted. This unit is beautifully remodeled. Loved the 3rd story balcony overlooking the beach. Lots of peace and quiet and long walks on the lovely beach. But still so convenient to the bustle of town. A weekend to remember! Thank you Mario!

My husband and I stayed at the condo for five nights, and we were so pleased with our experience. The condo is beautifully furnished and maintained, from the comfy king size bed to the sleek flatscreens to the granite counters. The patio was a great place to get out of the beach sun but still enjoy the ocean view, especially in the afternoon when it's fully shaded and cool. Mario provided outstanding communication and service. We will be back, for sure! Thanks again.

Perfect Island Getaway

We had the greatest time at South Padre Island staying at this condo. It's perfect. Literally steps away from the beach. The view from the large private balcony couldn't have been better. We spent each morning having our coffee on the balcony over looking the surf. The decor of the condo was so spectacular. I wouldn't have changed a thing. It had everything we needed. We did have problems connecting to the wifi in the condo but it was accessible by the pool area when we needed it. We cannot wait to return and will definitely be staying at Mario's condo. He did an excellent job of checking in on us shortly after we arrived and even called us as we were driving home to make sure everything was okay. We had so much fun on SPI. The beach and coastline were comparable to the beach and coastline we had in Playa del Carmen last summer. We played on the beach, fished from the beach, para sailed, fished from Pirate's Pier, and the Sea Turtle Rescue center across from the condo was neat to see also. There was so much to do on the island, but we always enjoyed coming back to the condo to refresh and eat. It was so comfortable and roomy for our family of four. Thanks again, Mario, for providing such an awesome place for us to stay on our vacation. We made memories that will last a lifetime this summer!!!

We loved the condo!!! It was beautiful and we were right on the beach. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us and it had everything needed to make you feel at home. The kids are asking when are we coming back!! The owner and his wife were very nice and helpfull.

Everything about our stay here was perfect. Mario provides excellent customer service. The condo is very nice, clean, everything you need is there, and right on the beach. The location was less busy and crowded than a hotel strip area. We enjoyed the beach, pirate criuse, snorkling,and the sea turtle rescue center. Our kids are 12 and 6 and had a great time here. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to go back again ourselves.

I've returned home relaxed and refreshed. This place is a hidden treasure. I didn't know Texas had a beautiful beach to vacation. I arrived at the Condo and it was super clean, which made me feel great. The linens and towels were top quality like a spa. The beach was steps away and the balcony had great, refreshing views of the beach. Our son truly enjoyed boggy boarding and body surfing. (He wanted to stay longer) We were able to cook daily at the well equipped kitchen and drink our morning coffee on the balcony with the ocean view and sea breeze. The owners made sure every detail was met by calling us after we checked in. This was our first time renting through the internet on our own and we had a great experience. My only wish is that we should’ve stayed longer…, but we will definitely come back to this condo and stay longer.

We had a wonderful time at this island getaway. The condo had everything we needed: fresh towels, lush linens, fully stocked kitchen, tastefully furnished, etc. And let's not forget it's right on the beach. What a dream!

Clean Comfortable Condo

We had a great time staying at this condo in South Padre. The condo was very clean and comfortable; the king size bed and linens were a dream. Plenty of closet space and soft towels in the bathroom. The kitchen was well supplied with everything I needed and more to entertain friends.
We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning having coffee and in the afternoon with a glass of wine - all without excessive wind.
Check-in was quick and everyone with the complex was very polite and accomadating. The beach was clean and just steps from the condo. It has to be the best beach on the Island. We have visited South Padre at least once a year for the past five years and I can assure you that we will be staying at this condo again if there is an opening, it looks like it is booked solid through out the year and now I understand why !!
We appreciate Mario checking on us throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We were able to meet the cleaning crew before we left and were very impressed with them - they do a wonderful job of keeping the condo clean and Mario did a great job of making sure we had everything we needed to enoy our stay. I could go on and on about how nice our stay was but you need to see for yourself.

Little slice of Paradise

The location of the Condo is fantastic - only yards from the beach and a fantastic view from the balcony! The condo is clean and very neat, and decorated very tastefully. The staff and neighbors were very friendly and helpful. The pictures on the listing are very accurate. The condo has all the amenities required for your stay, and is very comfortable. Mario, the owner, is very pleasant and accommodating, and remains in contact throughout the rental process.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a pleasant beach getaway. The local restaurants offer menu's that will please all ages and appetites, and are priced reasonably for a resort area. The shelling on the beach is so-so if you are interested in that type of thing. The dunes at the end of the road are a must see if you have not experienced them before. There are several nice restaurants and bars with sunset views on the Bay side. The shop owners along the "main drag" are pleasant and accommodating. Hope this review helps those that trying to make a decision.

This was the most relaxing vacation ever---we loved it. Mario was wonderful; he called when we arrived to make sure that everything was satisfactory. This property exceeded our expectations. It was very nice, clean and well decorated. The king size bed was very comfortable and we loved being able to keep the door open and hear the ocean. The kitchen was equipped with everything that a person would need. The balcony was awesome to sit, relax and enjoy watching the water. I cant say enough nice things about our stay, but I would love to go back.

This condo is an excellent retreat for a weeks vacation. It is clean and supplied with all ammenties including extras such as hair dryer, iron,washer/dryer etc.
The balcony faces the gulf side for a fantastic view and also shelters you from the wind which during our trip was well needed. The sunrise was outstanding in colors.
Mario was in contact to make sure all was well with us which we appreciated.

Perfect Thanksgiving Break

This was our first time staying in this unit, and we would definitly return. We went with our 2 small children and the condo was perfect for us. You could see that it was recently updated, giving it a very comfortable, modern feel. We loved the mounted TV's (up away from our kids reach), the comfortable bed and couches, the well stocked kitchen, the vaulted ceilings (its on the 3rd floor), the washer and dryer in the unit (so convienent with little kids) and most of all, the view and location to the beach. Our 2 year old loved playing out on the balcony and being able to see and hear the ocean. It was great to be able to put the baby down for a nap while the other parent took her down to the beach to play. We slept with the door open and fell asleep with the sound of the ocean. It's located at the quiet end of the beach-toward the park-which we really liked. But it's still just a minute to 5 minute drive to anything on the island. It's also very close to the convention center, which was very nice since we were there for a basketball tournament held there. It's also right across for the sea turtle exhibit on the island.

Beautiful Beachfont Condo

My husband and I stayed at this property for three nights, starting September 29, 2010. The condo was recently renovated so everything is new and super clean! New tile, new paint, new appliances and furniture, two wall-mounted flat screen TVs, comfortable bed with high quality bed linens, great soft bath linens, very comfortable living room couch and love seat. Kitchen and bath have beautiful granite counter tops. Kitchen has everything you need - dishes, glasses, silverware (service for 8), pots, pans, cooking utensils, coffee pot, toaster, blender, etc. There is a large balcony with a perfect view of the beach. We spent our first night sitting out there until almost midnight enjoying the sounds of the ocean. The beach is literally steps away - maybe 30 steps to the sand and 30 more to the water. The pool nearest us was very nice and clean. This was our first trip to South Padre in September. The weather was beautiful, water was warm (about 84 degrees) and the atmosphere was relaxed and peaceful. The owner of this property was very helpful and answered all of our questions.

A great place to stay

For those of you looking for a place to stay in S. Padre, you need to consider this place. The condo was very clean and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The view from the balconey is incredible and you are just steps away from the beach. There is also a grass area between the condos and the beach where you can sit with your lawn chairs and enjoy the beach without the sand. I highly recomend this place for a relaxing getaway.
