Review submitted: April 28, 2013   Date of arrival: March 30, 2013

This property listing is all that is claims to be. This was our 4th year returning to the home. This year we were entertained by dolphins swimming close to the shore and the fishing was amazing. This is a great property to relax at. The property owner is excellent to deal with and his staff is very conscious about keeping the property clean. Our family loves this place so much that we have already booked for next year!

Fantastic time in Melbourne Beach!

Pam (Jefferson City, MO)
Review submitted: February 19, 2013   Date of arrival: February 5, 2013

We traveled with two other couples to Melbourne Beach for a short vacation and stayed at this property. It was fabulous! The location on the beach was wonderful and we spent our days sitting in the sun and watching the water! The house was perfect for the 6 of us, we each had our own bedroom and bath. The open great room and kitchen worked well. Very enjoyable and would love to return!

A Piece of Paradise

Dan (Switzerland)
Review submitted: February 11, 2013   Date of arrival: January 26, 2013

We had a great time in Melbourne Beach. We stayed for one week in the upper section at the end of February 2013. The contact with Daniel, the owner, was pleasant right from the beginning. The listing description was accurate in every way. The place has three bedrooms and also three bathrooms, more than enough space for two people. But we booked it because of the spectacular view onto the sea. And that’s how it was. Especially the sunrises were absolutely wonderful: To have breakfast outside on the red deck, with the sounding of the waves and pelicans flying by, it’s like catching a piece of paradise! The flat itself offers everything you need and if something is missing or broken, Zak, the friendly property manager, helps instantly. We found the place clean and well furnished. The only thing we missed a little was a stereo for our music. But that’s a detail. The house is nice, the spot at the beach is perfect (you can walk on the beach for miles, starting just at the door) and you can do a lot of other things like probably each kind of watersport. We also took a trip to Orlando. And we were able to watch the launch of an Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral at night, right from the deck, a very special moment too. – We really loved the place at Melbourne Beach and we would go back there anytime!

Fabulous Stay

Review submitted: January 7, 2013   Date of arrival: December 22, 2012

We rent a house in FL each year for the week of Christmas and it is always on the beach. Upon arrival to this property we were extremely impressed! Sometime the was things look in pictures is not as they are in reality. That was not the case here. Daniel does a fabulous job of ensuring that those who rent from him get a honest perspective of the place. The videos are wonderful. You can not beat the location of this home. Right on the ocean, that is not crowded what so ever! We have a fabulous week and would recommend renting this place to everyone!

Family Reunion / from Colorado and North Carolina

Review submitted: November 27, 2012   Date of arrival: November 17, 2012

We just returned from a fabulous family reunion and this house was largely responsible for giving each of 4 families the space they needed but the ability to gather, eat, play, and enjoy together! The listing was right-on, the photos accurate for the rental's appearance and amenities, and it was clean and well-maintained. The owner was helpful in answering our questions and concerns from the moment we were in contact to rent through our return home. The property manager was helpful and attentive to our needs. The locaton on the beach was perfect as well as the location to attractions such as Kennedy Space Center, Universal and Disney, and even a playground and nature walking area just a few blocks from the house. We had other Florida family members stop in and they could not believe what a great place we had found!!! It is a beautiful house with many thoughts given to a renters needs and activities. Everyone from 2 years old to 71 years old had the best time! We highly recommend this house and we would love to return!!!

This oceanview home was just as beautiful as described on the site. Any supplies we could have needed were provided (i.e. beach equipment, kitchen supplies, linens). The owner and property manager were responsive and ensured we were having a good time. I couldn't have asked for a better vacation rental experience!

The listing did not do justice to the magnificent house and accoutremants that we found. It was over the top. Our entire family continully raved about the house and trhe surrounding area. ood restaurants and nearby were facilities for fishing, kayaking and all other water activities Golf was also available nearby. We cant wait to go back.

Great house, great owner

sledge (United States)
Review submitted: June 20, 2012   Date of arrival: June 2, 2012

My family (11 people, 1 baby) had a fantastic week in Melbourne while renting property 277643. The walkway to the ocean led to a beach that was all our own...so needless to say...the beach was the best part of the week. The house is very clean, everything is new and the spacious layout makes it extremely group-friendly. The Wi-Fi was strong, great flat screen televisions, and everyone had their own bathroom...which is a first. The distinct separation of the up and down stair floors are both good and bad. Good because it allows people to have their own space (and my family needs it sometimes), bad because there's sometimes noise made in transition (you have to punch the house combo when you move between floors). Nearby the house, there is a park for kids, a gas station about a mile away, and a Publix about seven miles away. Dealing with the owner is a pleasure and everything is professionally handled during all transactions. I highly recommend this property and hope to come back again when my other brother gets married.

The house is beautiful with all the furnishing and supplies you need for your family We had plenty of room and the beach is incredible here. You have your own beach but still our close to shopping and Disney is close enough to do one day up and back.

This was our third year at this beach house and it was better than I had remembered. Every year we look forward to relaxing on what our kids call OUR beach. The weather was fantastic, the water was warm and the fishing was great. The owner is very pleasant to work with and his staff (if you need them) respond quickly. The home has plenty of beach chairs and toys for the kids to play on the sand with. My kids had a blast surfing and boogie boarding. You have a clear view of the beach right from the home. We are looking forward to next year!

Wonderful time away for our Wedding/Honeymoon

JB (Phildelphia, PA)
Review submitted: September 21, 2011   Date of arrival: September 6, 2011

My husband and I were very happy with this rental property. It looked just like the pictures described. The house was very clean, open, and inviting. We were greeted with a bottle of champagne, a picture frame, and a card to celebrate our upcoming nuptials. They were a nice surprise.

My favorite parts of the house were the Master bedroom and bathroom and the main view from the living area. The bedroom had a nice walk in closet, spacious room, and the soaking tub and walk in shower was the best. A little better water pressure would have been nice but that didn't affect our overall stay. And there is nothing like that view of the beach and ocean that you are greeted with when you come up the stairs from the front of the house. That view never got old.

The sand on the beach was soft and the water was warm. The waves were a little rougher than we would have preferred, probably due to the recent hurricane that had come through the week prior. But we still enjoyed our time on the beach. We even were able to witness some sea turtles creating their nests to lay their eggs. Amazing!

We also had the pleasure of spending time at the other rental property in the area. It was so spacious, updated, and comfortable. The pool was a great addition. And it was the perfect backdrop for our wedding. We held both our ceremony and reception at that house and we couldn't have been happier.

We loved every minute of being there. We were very sad to leave. And we would definitely return to either of your properties in the future. Thank you for the perfect backdrop for a lifetime of memories.

Our stay at this property was even more enjoyable than we had anticipated. The house itself is amazing. It is very spacious, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable, with all of the amenities you could hope for. The beach is beautiful, and quiet enough that it felt like our own piece of private paradise. We even caught a few fish in the ocean! In addition, Daniel and the property manager were so accommodating, and did everything in their power to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Over the past 12 years we have rented 4 different beach front properties for our family reunion. This property was hands down, not just the best of the lot, but was simply amazing. The listing was accurate, but not even the pictures prepare you for the breath taking view that awaits you as you reach the top of the stairs. The rooms were very spacious, the kitchen was state of the art and access to the beach was perfect. Dan was extremely accomodating and did everything within his power to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We will be back and recommend without reservation this property.

Stunning home in a stunning location!

Rachellee (Anderson, IN)
Review submitted: April 3, 2011   Date of arrival: March 26, 2011

We rented the entire house (both upper and lower levels) at the end of March for our group of 14, consisting of 8 adults and 6 kids. The house is even more beautiful than the pics on the website reveal. There was so much open space, it was easy for everyone in our group to be in the house and not disturb one another, yet be together. And, with two kitchens, two living areas, and two dining areas, it made it easy for each of the families to do their own thing if they wanted. My favorite part of the house was the upstairs great room and kitchen. My mom and I absolutely loved the kitchen! It was just beautiful and so modern with lots of unique and luxurious features. It was fun to cook meals and even to clean up! The fireplace is also a very nice feature that added to the ambiance of the upper living area. And, the view of the beach and ocean that the wall of windows allowed from the upper living area was just perfect! We got to watch a couple of amazing storms, a gorgeous full rainbow stretching across the ocean, some beautiful sunrises, and lots of dolphins and pelicans that we might have missed if we hadn't had all those windows! The view from the lower level is also nice and very tropical feeling with the ocean view beyond the lush tropical landscaping surrounding the decking. And, we really appreciated having all the beach gear we needed already supplied, like extra beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, and sand and water toys. We really didn't need to bring any of our own! And, we practically had the beach to ourselves, even though we went right in the middle of Spring Break time! There is a public access just a bit down from the house, but only a few fisherman and maybe the occasional couple would come there. And, then there are a couple of houses and a really nice beachside restaurant in the other direction, but there again, rarely a person on the beach from that side. And, the location of the house was convenient to grocery and other shopping, gas, restaurants, and certain attractions, like the Kennedy Space Center and Orlando. So, all in all, the combination of such a nice, clean, and well-maintained home to stay in and a beautiful, uncrowded stretch of beach made for a perfect vacation for us! We would recommend this house to anyone and hope we can make it back sometime soon! Oh, and the owner is really so easy to work with and so very kind and helpful. It was a real pleasure dealing with him for our vacation needs. Thank you so much Daniel!

No Surprises!

Chris (Brooklin, ON, Canada)
Review submitted: March 27, 2011   Date of arrival: March 19, 2011

After reviewing the other positive responses and the videos, everything was as advertised--even the great weather! The toys, chairs and umbrellas were on the observation deck. The fishermen and dolphins were there as well. The privacy was definitely there too! The upper part of the house is perfect and accommodated my family of four (with 3 year old and 11 month old) with three grandparents in tow with plenty of room for great family meals, yet privacy at night.

Perhaps the biggest plus is dealing with Daniel. Prior to leaving I inquired about a high chair being on the premises. Just before leaving he notified me that a new one had been purchased! He is quick to respond to emails, helpful and very professional to deal with.

Relaxed in Melbourne Beach

Review submitted: March 15, 2011   Date of arrival: March 5, 2011

This was our second time staying at this property and It exceeded our expectations once again. The first time we stayed on the bottom floor, this time we rented the top. The views are wonderful and the beach is so peaceful. The listing and photos can't really capture the true beauty of this home. We were able to watch whales and dolphins swim out in the ocean from our deck as we drank Margaritas- how great is that?! The owner of this property, has property managers that check-in with you to ensure that everything is going well. They were very nice and helpful. There is a bar/restaurant that you can walk to from the house. They had great food/drinks and outside deck area that made it fun to eat on the beach. The home is clean and tidy, I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone wanting to get away from it all.

We had a large group, ages 6mo to 50+, from two families. Rented both floors. The home is roomy enough that everyone had their own space. We loved the views. We went to see the Shuttle launch scheduled for Sept. 16th, which had long been rescheduled, we didn't want to reschedule our vacation. We saw sea turtles laying eggs, and sea turtles hatch. Walked for miles up and down the beach. The hurricane was progressing up the coast, past us, so the ocean was magnificent...what a rip tide. Space Center and Disney are an hour or so away. Kayaking all around. Lot's of fishermen down at the State Park, just to the south. I wish I was still there today. Everyone had a great time.

We saw sea turtles, dolphins, crabs, and lot’s of fish! My 12 year old daughter even became a member of the Caribbean Conservation Council to support the protection of the turtles and sea animals. Our Favorite Vacation House in Florida!!!

Amy (Orlando)
Review submitted: August 30, 2010   Date of arrival: August 1, 2010

We spent two weeks at this wonderful Melbourne house using both the up and downstairs units for our extended family group of 14. We have rented large homes up and down the eastern central Florida coast and this was by far our favorite! The house was spacious and easily handled the seven kids (ages 7-17) and seven adults. We all loved the quiet, beautiful beach and the wonderful deck upstairs. Highlights of our stay included spotting dolphins on an almost daily basis and seeing sea turtles climb up to shore at night to lay their eggs - awe inspiring! We also encountered volunteers who work with the sea turtles on several mornings and most evenings. The younger kids in our group were even given a chance to release baby sea turtles into the ocean. We spent a morning at nearby Sebastian Inlet State Park and actually got to swim with manatees!! Both levels of the house were well-equipped and beautifully maintained. Making meals for so many people was a breeze. There was room for everyone and their activities - puzzles, games, quiet reading, movie-watching, and just hanging out. Outside, there were umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards and sand pails for the kids. This made setting up everyday on the beach as easy as could be. My husband, a trained chef, loved the fact that he had nice Weber grills upstairs and down, not to mention the grill in the upstairs kitchen! To say we ate well and had a blast preparing meals is an understatement. We're already looking forward to our next vacation here for the reasons listed above and so many others.

Probably the first time that we mach a lot of things in one beautiful vacation.
The size and stile of the apartment, location of the house, private beach with extremely clean water, were just some of the grate things we enjoyed there. Very clean house with amazing things inside. You will be surprised especially with the kitchen and plenty of possibilities that gives you during the meal preparation.
For the major bathroom, I’m not going to say anything. Let be a surprise!!!

Exactly the place for the piece of mind, relaxation and self-recover period (specially on the front deck, during evening hours, while you are looking the huge ocean).

What a beautiful house! My extended family and I just returned from a wonderful week in Melbourne Beach. Our stay at this property was thoroughly enjoyable. We rented the entire house (upstairs and downstairs) and loved it. It is spacious, very clean and affords a fantastic view of the ocean. We especially enjoyed having two full kitchens, three refrigerators, two washers / dryers; excellent for a large group. We have stayed in many beachfront homes on the East and Gulf Coasts and this house one of the nicest we have ever rented. I would recommend it to anyone (in fact, I already have). The home itself is nicely furnished and comfortable. The beach location is great and restaurants, RonJon, and other attractions are nearby. Their is a nice deck and boardwalk to the beach and the owner provides high end beach chairs, umbrellas, boards to ride, etc. The beach itself is beautiful. The water was refreshing and their was a great breeze the entire weekend, and the waves were great for surfing either on boards or body surfing and morning sunrises were spectacular.

It was a pleasure renting from Daniel and meeting Zak who checked with us just after arriving to make sure everything was OK.

We rented the top floor unit. It was wonderful and we enjoyed every moment of it. The owner was great to work with. He responded immediately to any questions or concerns we had. We did not meet ZAK, the locate contact, but he did call and check in to made sure we had everything we needed. We loved it and would definitely rent it again!

We loved our stay!

My family recently stayed at this house (upper level) and not only was it as beautiful as described but doing business with Daniel and Zak (the local contact) was wonderful. They were both accomodating and available for anything that we needed. The beach is beautiful and practically private in that location. The house was clean and had top of the line amenities. They even have beach chairs, boogie boards, bicycles and other beach toys. We had a couple of friends stop by who wanted to stay with us rather than the condo they own because it was so nice. We would love to come back and book the entire house in the future.

AWESOME BEACH RENTAL!

Review submitted: April 13, 2010   Date of arrival: April 2, 2010

My family and I rented both the upper and lower sections of the house over Spring Break this year. We had a terrific time and the house was everything we had hoped for. It was exactly as described. The house was very spacious and well equipped. It was very clean and well cared for. The beach was terrific. There is no parking on the street so you have to be staying at a home to get to the beach. It was basically our own private beach. We're already talking about renting it again next year.

FANTASTIC LOCATION! GREAT VACATION!

VegasFamily (Las Vegas, NV)
Review submitted: April 9, 2010   Date of arrival: March 27, 2010

This is a 2 story house with two units, 1st floor & 2nd floor. We rented the top floor unit. We couldn't have asked for a better location! It's far from the public beaches on a stretch of land populated by houses, not hotels. This means the FEW people we saw on the beach were from the surrounding houses. We were there during Spring Break and while the public beaches were packed, our beach had a handful of people scattered as far as we could see in either direction.

The house appears to be newly remodeled. It has an amazing gourmet kitchen & spectacular views. The 2nd floor unit has a huge deck that runs the entire width of the house and looks out onto the ocean. The rooms are large and the living area is more of a Great Room. All the furnishings were new. Beach gear is provided - chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and beach toys - which is a nice touch.

The pictures truly don't do it justice. The walkway pictured comes directly off the huge deck. You step off the walkway onto the beach then walk approximately 20 feet and you're in the surf!

This was our first trip to Florida, we generally go to California, so we were pleasantly surprised by the clarity of the water. It's warm, clean & clear (no seaweed!) and there were lots of shells on the beach.

The property manager contacted us the day we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. He provided us with his contact information but we never had a need to contact him.

Overall, this was an amazing place! Thanks for an unforgetable vacation!

The Fishing is great!

Review submitted: April 8, 2010   Date of arrival: March 26, 2010

My family and I spent a week in this wonderful home. I was able to get up every morning and fish right in the backyard. The kids were so excited to see what we would reel in. We were able to enjoy a fabulous beach, neat, clean and safe. My wife would go for long walks every morning and night and come back with pockets full of shells. The house is in a great location, you feel like the ocean is there just for you, it's peaceful and the sunsets were unbelievable. The view right from your deck was magnificent, we were able to see the moon & stars at night from the telescope (that was provided). The owner of this house was great to work with. He responded immediately to any questions or concerns we may have had. He also has excellent staff working for him (ZAK) was available, in the event you need something. We found this listing on line and would NOT hesitate returning or recommending it to anyone. In fact, we are making plans to go next year with friends.

Relax in the sun

My family and I stayed at this house for a week. Unfortunately, it wasn't long enough. It was beautiful and incredibly relaxing. The location of this house is amazing, its right on the beach. The beach is so clean and there was plenty of things for the kids to do. My husband was able to get up every morning and fish. (the ocean is right out your door and across the street is the River). What FUN!!!! I was able to run every morning on the beach to the sound of the waves or on a bike path (in front of the house) that runs for miles. The house was stocked with great beach chairs and toys for the kids to play with. My only suggestion to the owner would be to increase the amount of kitchen cookware for the person who likes to cook. The kitchen needed a couple more pots and bowls. Overall we loved this place and would highly recommend it. We are planning our next visit and can't wait. Did I mention that we had 3 Pilot whales beach right in front of the house? It was amazing! Sea World Rescue and Research team came by boat, plane and land to rescue them. What excitement!!!

Great beach, well furnished house

The house comfortably slept 12 people and was very nicely furnished. The new beach chairs and umbrellas were also an awesome added bonus. For a beach front house I don't think you can do any better for the price. The beach was excellent, house was excellent and you got the feel of a private beach while only being a couple minutes from a supermarket, shops and good restaurants. Very glad we went with this house, our vacation was a blast.

We enjoyed the time in Florida and especially the house at Melbourne Beach very much! The house was clean and we found all we needed to cook in the kitchen. The washmaschine of course is a plus! The view and the beach are fantastic - our little family and our friends had a great time :-)

Great place to stay and the view was spectacular.House in very private spot and what was especially nice was beach was not crowded and most days only a few people could be seen or none.
House was clean and roomy and kitchen set up well for cooking which we did a lot of while enjoying the view.
Zach the caretaker was pleasant and accomadating to our needs and Daniel the owner did his best to make our stay as enjoyable as possible calling and connecting with us to see if everything was ok.
We hope to return to this little spot of paradise and recommend it as a nice spot for a holiday.

Four would be golfers spent a week in late January at Daniel's house on the beach. Wonderful ocean views, the large top floor unit was clean and modern, the flat screen TV was a big hit on NFL playoff day. We thoroughly enjoyed the overall ambiance of the home. We sampled three of the many golf courses in the area and although humbled, enjoyed our experience. All would return with no hesitation.

Spent a week at this great home in Melbourne Beach. The house was clean, welcoming and well set up for an extended stay. The views of the ocean and the access to the beach couldn't have been better. Daniel was a great homeowner to work with. He was prompt and response to all inquiries and he made the set up process very simple. It was a gret stay and I plan to return in the near future.

We enjoyed the stunning views and spaciousness of this beautiful home in Melbourne Beach. Our stay was brief so we were unable to enjoy all the area has to offer. We were very comfortable in this clean, relaxing, inviting home. We plan to come back when the weather is warmer so we can fully utilize this great property.

We would like to share how much we were delighted with our stay in Melbourne Beach at Daniel’s fabulous house! Waking up every morning to the panoramic ocean view was totally unbelievable (and unforgettable), it was like being in captain’s quarters of a cruise ship – but with a difference that we would also walk down the deck stairs to the sand and the ocean! The house has just been totally renovated top to bottom, there are lots of luxury finishings inside, especially the upper level kitchen and the master bath, and the furniture is brand new. We were impressed with the spaciousness of the place, plus everything we could possibly need was provided. Very nice landscaping around the house, seems to be maintained meticulously. The driveway is huge and has enough space for a 40-ft RV with all RV hookups right there. We loved the Sebastian Beach Inn restaurant just a few houses to the north – great food, and Sunday reggae night was a blast. Most importantly, it is all about being right on the ocean and the beach – and the beach is as relaxing as you can imagine, sometimes we were the only people on it as far as we could see. We liked the place and the area a lot and are planning to be back again.
