The loft was all that promised, the location was wonderful we walked daily to all we wished to see. We had a slight problem with the TV Ashton quickly solved it. The parking pass was invaluable, a must in Charleston. A perfect place for your visit to Charleston.

Thank you Ashton for letting us rent your loft. What a great location and it was quiet! I have several friends who want to make this trip someday and I am going to recommend they contact you. This was our first experience renting a condo, and we loved it.

Stayed in October 2010. Great place; centrally located; clean and comfortable. All the amenities of home. The stairs could be tricky if you are not careful (wooden floors, etc.). No problem parking on street with parking permit, even on busy weekend. Ashton a treat to work with but need to get check-in info. a little earlier than two days before traveling to Charleston.

My husband & I stayed here for a week in October 2009 - our first time in Charleston. The location is excellent - you can walk to almost everything and there are numerous restaurants less than a block away. I highly recommend the loft if you are visiting Charleston.

During the first week of August 2009 my son and I vacationed in Historic Charleston. Our location on East Bay at Lodge Alley was ideal-as were the accommodations. If you are looking for THE FEEL of the OLD SOUTH in a courtyard setting with fountain and a first class rental location-look no further. We will return as soon as possible. Enjoy!!!

We had such a great time staying at the Lodge Alley.
The loft itself is lovely and the location is superb. The
owner is very professional and working with him was a
pleasure. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We came here for an October vacation and it was lovely. The location is perfect. Being right on East Bay street makes getting around town very easy. And the condo has everything you need. We cooked a couple of times, and found it quite satisfactory. However, it's right down the street from some great restaurants (and Baked, my new favorite coffeeshop/bakery!). A couple of mornings I jogged down East Bay and into the S.O.B. neighborhood. It was really lovely.
Overall, Ashton's place has a great location, provided a good amount of space for us, was very comfortable, and was super convenient to get in and around Charleston. We'd definitely use it again were we to come back to Charleston.

I had the most marvellous time staying here. Location fantastic. Room clean. I was on my own but it would be good for 2 people. The lock on the door was a bit tricky at first but I soon got the hang of it. Ashton was great, very useful up to and during my stay. I wanted to stay again a few weeks later but he was booked up. If it's just one or two of you and you want to be in the heart of Charleston, then this is great value for money.

When my boyfriend and I visited the condo, we were
very pleased with its central location the most. The
place was decorated very home-like and the
atmosphere is definitely somewhere I would like to
stay again.

While attending a high school reunion in downtown Charleston, we needed a room to congregate before and after the reunion itself. This location was perfect! We needed a refrigerator, seating and bathroom facilities. Located right on East Bay St. and easily accessible to blocks of sightseeing, shopping, dining or whatever your reason to come to our beautiful city. This suite was absolutely perfect!

The loft was perfect - right in the heart of downtown. Couldn't have been happier with the location, the amenities, or the price. If you don't take well to stairs, the spiral staircase up to the loft may be difficult to navigate, but other than that I highly recommend it.

We loved the location of the loft. Walking out the door to the street and you are right there in the best part of town. We also liked the spaciousness and the price was reasonable. It could use some small amenities like a functioning ironing board and iron and a hair dryer. But overall very nice.
Owners response: We now have a full iron board, iron, and hair dryer. We hope everyone gets to enjoy Charleston as much as we do!
