The house was a easy to find, clean, & it was exactly as the pictures showed. The neighbors are very nice, and even offered for us to stay in their basement when some bad storms rolled through. Guntersville Lake was gorgeous, and anyone who loves to eat fish should definitely go to "Top of the River" for supper. Excellent weekend & stay!

Wonderful place to stay

My family and a few of our friends stayed here over July 4th weekend. We had a wonderful time. The house is very clean and spacious. You couldn't ask for nicer neighbors and the owner is the nicest lady you could ever meet. We had four 11 year old boys with us and they caught an 8 pound bass right off the pier. The fishing is great. The yard is large enough for kids to play and it is very quiet and peaceful. I would definetly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a fun weekend getaway.

Stayed there this past weekend with all the kids and their wives and two grand kids, it was a great place to stay. Right on the lake, your own dock if you have a boat, a real relaxing place to stay and get away from it all. The house had everything you needed. I will definitely be staying here again. Thank you for opening your house for others to enjoy.

My family and I enjoyed the sweet, clean home. We have small dogs and take them with us everywhere. It was nice to stay in a pet friendly place, but you couldn't tell any pets had been there. It was very clean. We really enjoyed the porch and rocking chairs. We put our boats in and pulled them up to the dock everyday and took them out on the water just a few yards from the house. The owners were easy to work with and very nice and understanding. She has a wonderfully sweet and intriguing shop in Boaz that you MUST visit when you are close. The neighbors were very kind and treated us just like we lived there. We would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation on the lake!

Owners response: We are always ready to meet new families and understand that many people's pets are their children. Your pets are always welcome, if they are house broken. Our home is a place that we enjoy sharing with families and fishermen. We have found many people enjoy meeting their familes from other states to enjoy fishing at the Great Guntersville Lake. We would recommend a shopping trip to Boaz, Alabama for the ladies to enjoy visiting our unique gift shop, Crystal Corner. It has room after room of gifts, collectibles, and is also a discontinued china and crystal matching service.

The directions to the house were right on the money. Good layout. Perfect for multiple families. Everything we needed was provided. The kitchen has every utensil one could imagine. We were able to get to just about everything in town within 10 minutes. The neighbors are very friendly and helpful.
