Spectacular! We recently celebrated my 50th Birthday at 'Greystone Estate' with friends and family and had an amazing experience. The concierge, Donna, did a wonderful job setting us up with a great wine tasting appointment and when we all returned to the house for lunch there was something for everyone to do: gather around the pool table, take a hot tub, play bocce, tennis, make a fire, the guys even played flag football on the sprawling lawn. The home is perfectly and impeccably appointed - and my husband (the chef) loved the kitchen. Wonderful meals, and lots of great memories were made. Thank you Donna for an amazing time. We all can't wait to visit Greystone again.

Devine setting in Wine Country

3 days in wine heaven with good times, food, vintage and the setting divine. A big thanks to Greystone Estate for such an amazing experience. We have had a fabulous experience with our group. What a setting! We'll always remember this!

We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Tennis, swimming, the owls :-) and in such a bucolic setting. Three of us have birthdays in June and the "trifeta" celebration here @ Greystone Estate was absolutely fabulous!! We hope to come back again.

The kitchen is great

Greystone was great! The accommodations and the setting were more than we could have expected. When we got to Greystone I found and could hardly believe the gourmet kitchen. It had all the condiments and spices that I could possibly want! The herb garden inside the airy greenhouse was waiting for me. I found the basil (used it all) and made the best pesto and my family cheered. The only thing missing was a chef’s hat.
Thank you for thinking like a cook and having such a well prepared kitchen. My family also thanks you too for I was an even better cook in your kitchen!

a family reunion

We decided to have our annual family reunion at Greystone so we could all stay and spend more time together. We picked Greystone after seeing the aerial picture on a web site.
From Sacramento and San Francisco and El Centro we came. All of us are brothers and sisters and in-laws.
What a joy to share our family memories over wine in the Jacuzzi – have late morning breakfasts and day after day contests over who makes the best deserts.
We were all refreshed and delighted by the accommodations and we were the pool table champions!!!!

California Time!

Our grand tour last spring of California was wonderful but for all of us the very best part was Greystone.
My Grandkids (and my husband and I too) were really ready for some serious down time after we started in San Diego. We visited the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Knott’s Berry Farm, Disneyland, Hearst Castle, the Monterey Aquarium and finally Pier 39 in San Francisco. We made our way up to the Wine Country and we were really ready to relax. We did not know California was so big.
Our last days in California were spent sleeping, swimming in your lovely pool, while the kids played and played enjoying your beautiful and spacious surroundings at you’re “grand” estate.
Thank you. We will tell our fiends.

A Great Family Time

We had been wanting to have a family reunion for some time, but it seemed difficult to find the right spot for everybody. Some of us wanted to go to Hawaii but others wanted to go to the wine country, and some could only come for a long weekend. After doing some research on the web, we found the perfect place to meet everybody’s needs. Greystone had all of the amenities we were looking for: tastefully decorated with every quality amenity including a wonderful kitchen, a pool, tennis and beautiful grounds. And the great news was that we didn’t have to pay for airfare or take the better part of two days to travel – it only took us 3/4 hours to get there and we had our own car.
Having a huge home and separate guest quarters for our family reunion was the best – no small cramped hotel rooms; no having to go out to eat for every meal; and complete privacy with no other hotel guests to deal with. When we compared the cost of airplane travel, car rental, the days lost in travel, as well as the costs and inconvenience of constant restaurant dining - we realized huge savings and had a vacation that was fabulous.
We plan to have another family reunion vacation at Greystone next year!

a great vacation

And what a vacation it was!!!!!!!!
We had first planned to take our family to Hawaii. But in doing some research on the web, we found our better choice. Greystone had all of the amenities we were looking for. A pool, tennis and beautiful grounds. We didn’t have to pay for airfare and we drove there in less than 2 hours.
Not having small cramped hotel rooms gave our kids the full freedom to run and play that they needed. We discovered when we compared the cost of airplane travel, the days lost going and coming, as well as the costs for restaurant dining we could save huge costs and there was no comparison.
We plan to vacation at Greystone next year with our friends!

We were delighted with the Estate and the accommodations. Greystone was the perfect location for an off-site. The privacy allowed our meetings to be highly confidential and without interruptions. The layout allowed for our teams to break into small groups for our strategy sessions. After our productive day "which had heightened our creativity" we had a fabulous Winemakers Dinner arranged by the Concierge. All of our meals were outstanding. The Estate was well-appointed and very comfortable.
We will plan future trips to enjoy this region of the Wine Country with our friends.

"We were treated like royalty at several wineries including lunch at the winemaker's house for a tasting...will definately be staying there when we return in 2011.

What a beautiful Home! We brought our family - children and grandchildren. Everyone enjoyed the tennis court, pool, etc - we used all the facilities. Your garden is lovely - a tranquil spot to relax. We couldn't have picked a better place to spend our vacation.

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary here w/ 4 couples who are close friends. It was great to have our friends from around the country (Colorado - California) come to play & celebrate with us at your wonderful house.
We used everything, pool, tennis court, pool table, air hockey, ping pong, exercise room. We failed to find the dart board until the last morning, so we will have to return.
