we came to this property as a group, to go to a wedding in dallas. it was in a perfect location with a lovely pool.
There were 3 super double bedrooms and one childrens double not so good. our teenage sons slept on an air bed provided which worked well.There were a few things missing in the house but all in all it was really great. and the tv and sound system were amazing. I would stay again if i needed to be in the area.

We had a great time in America. The house was very comfortable, spacious and clean, it was situated in a good spot and convenient for the local amenities. We loved the swimming pool and the owner was welcoming and keen to help.we would certainly recommend it to others.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Everything we needed was provided and it allowed for our team to have "down time" together after a full day at the conference. It enhanced unity in our team in a way that no hotel stay could have accomplished.

We stayed at this house for a week-long conference. Three couples and two singles, we were comfortable all week, with plenty of room to spread out and get work done. Robert is a great host, he has thought of everything, the house is wonderfully furnished and stocked. Our only regret is it was too cold to swim!

Great place for a long weekend getaway. House has all amenities for a fun weekend for the family or a group of friends. Plenty of sleeping space and hang out areas. The owner is very welcoming and accommodating. I would certainly rent this house again.

I rented this house for my family over Thanksgiving and I must say it was perfect. The house was absolutely spotless when we arrived. The unit is very spacious and large-group friendly; the office, kitchen and family room make for an excellent community space. All the rooms were clean and the beds were quite comfortable.
Bathrooms were also in excellent order and all utilities functioned without issue. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, silverware, etc... for all our cooking/living needs.
The large entertainment center in the family rooms is great for watching television, movies or streaming video. Wireless internet was easily accessible. Let me not forget the swimming pool! The back patio is perfect for entertaining a large group and the pool was in pristine condition.
I am familiar with north Dallas, and this house is in a great/safe area and only minutes from the highway to get downtown.
Finally, the owner of the unit was excellent in terms of honesty, accommodation and communication. Every detail was covered, from directions to local places, to wireless passwords and even a key chain with store 'membership cards' so we could save money at the local grocery store : ) The owner was very friendly and made our experience as easy as possible -- I have absolutely zero complaints. Also, he was very prompt in returning our deposit after we concluded our rental period.
Overall, I give this property a 5-star review. We will definitely use the property (or any property from this owner) the next time we are in Dallas, I recommend it highly.

this is a perfect place for a family coming to visit relatives or a reunion house for friends. My buddies and i rented this location for a football weekend. despite our disappointment in the outcome of the game, we were glad that we had this wonderful home to come back to and spend time together which was the real purpose of our being in the DFW area.
the house flows well and the amenities (pool, grill and easy access to all the things we wanted to do) made for a great time!

We recently had our annual pilgrimage to Dallas for my friends and I hosted at "Casa de Murjis." Although the football game was disappointing, the accommodations were anything but. We spent much of our time cooking and enjoying the beautiful backyard and catching up with friends while watching football in the comfortable living room area. Robert was a very gracious host and has included everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The location was terrific as the street is nice and quiet, but only blocks from a plethora of dining and entertainment options. I not only recommend it but plan on returning next year!

Robert was a great host. The house is VERY clean and comfortable. We spent three days during the TX OU weekend and had a great time; lounging, grilling, swimming in the pool and relaxing. The house is located close to grocery stores and liquor stores so quite convenient.
Overall, a very good experience and we are planning to use the house again next year.
Owners response: It's always great to see college friends reunite. Numerous collegiate groups have gotten together in the past at my rental properties. What a great way to share life's memories with old friends and have a great time too. So go ahead and call up those old school friends and suggest a collegiate reunion at my Dallas vacation rental. You'll be glad you did.

This is a home away from home. It is family friendly and the owner is not there to just rent a house but cares about the tenants. He is friendly and welcoming. It is in a good area and easily within reach of many good spots in Dallas. I recommend it strongly.

This house was great! It was everything that we expected and more. It was very spacious and clean. It was also close to grocery stores. Great place to just go and relax. We had our family vacation there and i would not think twice about coming back here.....And not to mention that our host was super nice!

We rented the house for a week with another family as our sons were attending a hockey camp. Every thing was great. The pool, gas grill, interior with great room and big screen entertainment center. Great area of the metroplex, easy to get everywhere. Couldn't have been more pleased. Owner was easy to work with and very helpful.
Owners response: It’s interesting to note that Dallas is a Mecca for youth sports camps. Many families have stayed with me over the years with the intent of bringing their kids to specialized sports camps that allow them to become much better athletes.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Location perfect for our needs. Roomy, all the comforts of home, and an owner who is second to none. In fact, I left my laptop at the residence. I called the owner and he promptly mailed it back to to my attention. I highly recommend this home when in Dallas.

We recently stayed here (June 2012) for a two week family vacation. I would recommend this home to anyone with children and/or a large family looking to spread out but still have plenty of quality family time. The house is very nice and very clean. There was plenty of bedding, towels and kitchen utensils to meet any needs. Robert is a wonderful host and just as committed to being an excellent host as his bio says. The best part of the rental was the pool. It is very well maintained and kept the children endlessly entertained. Priceless! It is conveniently located near shopping and entertainment but out of the chaos of the 'city' area.

Owners response: Elly and her family came from Mississippi to Dallas to watch and be part of the Brazil versus Mexico soccer match that was hosted in Cowboys stadium in Arlington. In addition to this international sporting event they enjoyed some really great shopping and entertainment. But above it all it looks like the swimming pool was the biggest hit for the kids. No wonder they left with pruned fingers and water logged ears lol.

Perfect For Small Family Reunion

The Southpoint Manor home proved to be just what our group required for a small family reunion of 10 staying at the home, and four others commuting from local Dallas addresses. Clean, well-appointed, two refrigerators, two ovens, microwave, DW and W/D, all in perfect working order. Extra large coffee mugs! Nice home-y ambiance. Plenty of sleeping accommodations, bathrooms, media center with large screen HDTV, cable, Netflix, wifi, sparkling pool that the owner cleaned several times during the week. Convenient from DFW and DAL, easy access to expressways, nearby grocery stores, restaurants and local attractions. We went to the Dale Chihuly glass sculpture installation at the Dallas Arboretum, a beautiful garden estate on White Rock Lake. Very nice walking trail a block over from the house for the fitness-minded. ADA note - there is a step-down to the sunken living room from the foyer and kitchen, and a step up to the pool patio. Overall, very pleased. We had a lovely time. Will definitely come back, and would recommend.

Our host, Robert, met us and gave us a guided tour of his rental house that we choose for a short family get-to-gather. Robert was always just a phone call away in case we needed anything. The house had a nice floor plan for a family reunion. The layout included a pool that could be fenced for the safety of the children and a wowing entertainment center. The amenities created the atmosphere of a home away from home. For those looking for something in the North Dallas area, this could be your perfect match.

Some properties have lots of reviews but they are written by the owners themselves. Others have very few or none. I feel that for a review to be authentic and informative it needs to come directly from my guests. When most people have an extraordinary and positive experience at one of my properties it seems that they are compelled to share that experience with others. Other than coming to visit me multiple times there is no greater compliment than when a guest actually takes the time to write a review. I guess when your whole goal is to meet or exceed your guest’s expectations writing a positive review appears to be the end result.

We had a family friend's wedding to attend in Dallas and this house was an amazing location! There was enough space for us to spread out (5 adults, 3 kids), and the pool was a huge hit! Definitely recommend!

Great golf vacation

I brought a group of 6 golfers to spend 5 days golfing in the Texas sunshine. I found the house to be a perfect size for the group. It was conveniently locate to the freeways. BTW, the area golf courses are fabulous. The home had 4 nice sided bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. Perfect for the guys. It had all the amenities you need. Plenty of towels, a partially stocked kitchen. The living room area had it all: surround sound, direct TV, netflix, full stereo. There was a large area out by the pool for entertaining. Gas grill, plenty of seating. There was a nice pool, but it was a little cold for swimming. The only thing missing was a hot tub. I found the owner to be very accommodating whenever we needed anything. We had a small plumbing problem and he was there in 15 minutes to take care of it. I would definitely recommend staying here.

It's about customer service and the entire lodging experience from the beginning to the end". Although it doesn’t happen often, stuff does happen. After owning seven businesses throughout my lifetime I can honestly say, "I get customer service".

House was located on quiet street that was conveniently located to all our needs. Home was clean and well fitted for our group of six golfers. Great room had all of the electonic gear that you would require and pool area was great place to relax at the end of the day. Owner was very responsive and spent the time on arrival to explain the home and how things worked. Appreciated that and also the departure process was well organized and efficent. Our family of 5 spent a week here. We loved the pool and outdoor grill. The location was super convenient to absolutely everything. Robert is an attentive host who wants his guests to be comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and the master bed super comfy! We hosted several family get togethers and all were impressed with our vacation home. Quick to return email and phone calls, Robert is easy to deal with and attentive. While not a negative; there were a few things not mentioned- there is only seating for four at the kitchen table, and the house backs up to a very busy street ( if you are a moderate to heavy sleeper , this will never bother you).
We would certainly stay again!

We had 7 family members stay here for Christmas 2011 for a family reunion to see a new granddaughter. We appreciated the spacious floor plan, gas fireplace, 2nd fridge, and 2 ovens. We spent 2 relaxing weeks here in September.
The house has everything you would need, is excellently situated for all major Dallas Fort Worth attractions, and the owner is welcoming and helpful.
Notable features of the property include an exellent entertainment centre and a refreshing swimming pool.

Hi Robert I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our week. Your house made our stay perfect. It was only minutes away from all the things we did but in a quiet community setting what was very safe. Pool was awesome for the kids. Owners response: Dallas draws a lot of conventions and shows. Tiffany, a doctor, brought her entire family out with her while she attended a doctors medical convention. Not only did Tiffany get her professional work done but her mom, kids, and husband went to all the local attractions during the day. Better yet, they were all together in the evening having dinner together as a family and sharing all of there experiences. How cool is that? I know they had an ENORMOUSE vacation/work experience!

The house worked well for three adults traveling on business and I am sure it would be very good for a family. The owner was very attentive to any concerns while also able to stay out of the picture so to speak.

With a media center, hi speed internet,WiFi, and conference tables with office chairs you can get a ton of work done in an relaxing and comfortable environment and not have to drive anywhere.

We had a great reunion as we got together after more than 30 years! Would highly recommend Robert's house.Robert is very straightforward on all of the requirements and any questions. The layout was perfect with 4 bedrooms and 4 baths. We recommend this house to groups wanting a great time hanging out together for several days and wanting the space and bathrooms (important) to do it. The park and walking trails are very close and we used them every day. Krogers and Dunkin Donuts are right down and street. Do it!

We had to be in Dallas for an extended stay and a hotel suite was not what we were looking for. Thankfully, we found this property. The location was great and it made our stay in Dallas so much easier. I would recommend it to anyone who was going to be at Medical City for more than a week, especially with children. Robert: Thank you for letting us borrow your Dallas home during the Super Bowl. It was very clean and spacious. The gas fire place was outstanding in that we experienced some pretty frigid temps while we were there. We had more than enough towels. The beds were VERY comfortable. We stayed a week around Christmas time at this house and my family and I had the time of our lives! We have family scattered in a few different states so we thought it would be ideal to get together and stay in a house. It was fantastic. Great space. Great kitchen. Robert was especially great - came over whenever we had a question working an appliance etc. Great neighborhood. We really enjoyed the house and our stay and definitely plan on being back!
Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

This house is highly recommended. We spent an entire week at this house over Christmas in 2010 and it was a great experience. The house owner explained all the features of the house and really made us feel welcomed. The house is completely furnished and has everything that you would need. The house was clean and organized and it was comfortable as soon as we all moved in. My family plans to return to this house in the summertime and/or Christmas.
Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway
