The owner clearly described the property accuratly. I would go back there in a minute. The property was clean and well mainatined. There are lots of things to do in the area. A short drive will get you any attraction you could possible want.

Wonderful vacation at Barefoot Contessa!

Just returned from a wonderful vacation at this lovely home! "Barefoot Contessa" has everything you could want in a vacation rental! We loved the fact that each bedroom had its' own bathroom which came in very handy when our kids and grand kids came for the spring break week! The kitchen has every appliance you can imagine and is incredibly well stocked! It was really helpful to have the golf cart, especially to take the grandkids and all their stuff to the beach! Although we didn't use the pool because of the cool weather, it looks very inviting and there are lots of deck chairs for sitting in the sun in the good weather!

There a so many things that made this holiday enjoyable, but here are three things that really made it special:

1) the fireplace! It was very cool the month we were there, and we started each morning with coffee in front of the fireplace!
2) this is a "pet friendly" rental! Our golden doodle Charlie had a great time and there were so many nice places to walk him!
3) The owner! Adrienne truly is the best owner we have worked with in the 10 years we've been renting properties! She genuinely cares about making your stay as enjoyable as possible and she was always very prompt in getting back to us regarding any inquiries!

We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a large pet friendly rental. We hope we have the opportunity to return at some point in the future!

Holiday Reminiscing

After 25+ years my family wanted to return to Myrtle Beach where we'd vacationed for years growing up. We remembered little and figured a lot had changed, but we knew we wanted to be by the beach, away from the fray and couldn't leave the dogs at home. After stumbling across the Barefoot Contessa, we knew we'd found a place. That decision was just reaffirmed after exchanging emails with Adrienne - she couldn't have been more organized and helpful. Even better, once we arrived we felt right at home. The house was perfect - gas fireplace at night was the perfect compliment to mornings on the beach (which is just a quick walk down the street). We were close enough to everything - exploring downtown Myrtle for some arcade adventures and even venturing out to Georgetown. Shopping, mini golf and dinners at home (made easy by every convenience you could want in the kitchen) rounded out a perfect holiday getaway. Would highly recommend Barefoot Contessa for anyone looking for their own memories.

Welcoming and Relaxing

My three sisters, one brother-in-law, two dogs, and I had the most relaxing vacation ever. The house was so welcoming with is beach decor and spaciousness. Everything we needed was there and the kitchen was well equipped. The house was very clean when we arrived and felt like home. The screened in porch was so comfortable and the pool area was very inviting. The beach was beautiful. We will definitely be back and are looking at possible dates for next year.

Love the Golf Cart!

We had a wonderful time at the Barefoot Contessa. The weather was perfect and we thorougly enjoyed the home. Highlights include lazy mornings on the back porch enjoying the spring breezes, sunning by the pool, everyone watching the NCAA championship game on the large sofa, and most importantly exploring the area in their golf cart!

Adrienne provided excellent customer service and was very responsive. Her home was very clean, well maintained, and is larger than the photo's indicate. We would love to come back again.

First Visit to Myrtle Beach

Not knowing the area...I took a risk at finding a house and ensuring it was in the right location. I hit the jack pot! This beautiful home met the needs of our family. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. It had all of the amenities that we needed (as clearly described by the owner before our vacation). The home is quite spacious and we loved sitting on the back porch every morning and evening.

This was also the first time I brought my two dogs on vacation. I not only enjoyed walking them on the beach everyday, but also through the neighborhood.

The owner was very effective in communicating the steps required for the rental process as well as the expectations upon arrival and departure.

On our trip home, we already started talking about returning. We would love to go back!!

Perfect Vacation!

We stayed at Barefoot Contessa over thanksgiving weekend with our family and I must say it far exceeded our expectations! House was clean, very roomy (even if we had more people there would have been plenty of space) and had everything we could possibly need... especially in the kitchen! It is absolutely close enough to walk to and the golf cart makes it even quicker.

It was so nice to be able to bring our dog with us as well... we hate to leave home without him. Adrienne was so pleasant and accommodating. All in all we couldn't have picked a better house and location and we will definitely stay here again!

Everything and more!

In a nutshall, Barefoot Contessa was everything and more that anyone could ever ask for in a vacation rental. My family and I loved the beautiful private swimming pool and the golf cart that we used to travel to the beach and nearby restaurants. The fact that dogs are welcomed sold us on this bright and cheery house, since we own two Bernese Mountain Dogs. We were planning to grill during the week and noticed the racks to the grill were missing. One phone call to Adrienne,the owner(who is available ALL the time) a manintenace man was there the next morning. Not only did he repair and replace it, he cleaned the whole darn grill!! Everyone is so friendly! I would recommend this home to anyone with small children also, very safe location. We had a ball!!! ps..we loved relaxing on the most comfortable leather recliners after a full day of playing. Triple thumbs up on this one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Family Vacation-2011

Our vacation was fantastic and we would definitely return. The house was clean, well-maintained, has a fabulous kitchen and was close to all attractions. The owner provided excellent customer service and was very accommodating and willing to please. We mainly cooked our meals but went out to eat a few times. The pool was refreshing and the golf cart was a definite plus. The beach was clean and the grandchildren enjoyed it every day. The open layout of the house allowed us to enjoy one another's company. We would definitely rent the home again.

A Very Nice and Clean Home! Loved it! Beautiful!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Barefoot Contessa! The only thing I disliked, was that our vacation was not long enough! :)

The house is very spacious (big kitchen, big living area, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms just to name a few), very clean and extremely accommodating. The front deck is perfect for lounging or for a quick rest all while enjoying the beautiful sun and air. The golf cart provided us very quick and easy access to the beach and the home's pool is just beautiful and a great way to relax throughout the day and even at night after dinner or shopping. The pool is also screened in so its great at keeping the bugs out! The home's location is in an excellent area, very close to everything including the beach, but very private at the same time. The enclosed parking area is also great; it keeps your car nice and clean and there's always plenty of parking (unlike hotels). We just can't say enough about how much we loved our stay! And our furry kids loved it too!

Adrienne has done a great job at making sure you feel right at home and she is always SO helpful! We've been on plenty of vacations, but none have ever been as enjoyable and as pleasant as our stay at the Barefoot Contessa. We will definitely be back to stay at this lovely home each time we visit Myrtle Beach! Our long days of searching for the perfect place to stay each year on vacation [that is both clean and very nice] are over! We have found all that and more in the Barefoot Contessa. If you're planning a trip to Myrtle/North Myrtle Beach don't miss out on this charming place! We loved it! Thank you Adrienne!

Great Vacation

We had a good time the place is much better than the pictures, Adrienne was so pleasant and cool. There were allot of things in the kitchen to help with preparing meals. Lots of space nice location, you couldn’t ask for anything else, because its all there. This is the total package.

Wonderful vacation home

Leave your worries at the door when you check in at the Barefoot Contessa. The house is gorgeous ( clean and brand new) and has everything you need.
(including a hair dryer)
The pool is so refreshing after a day at the beach. The golf cart made taking chairs and umbrellas to the beach so much easier.
Barefoot Landing has a lot of food choices and a great atmosphere.
I would definitely recommend the Barefoot Contessa.

The pictures don't do the property justice! I t was wonderful and more than we expected. Very comfortable for my family of 7 adults and 5 children. The pool has toys for the kids, we loved the enclosed pool. Also loved the tv's in each bedroom. The kitcen had everything we needed including spices, blender, etc. Would recommend this for anyone...Adrienne was a pleasure to deal with...made some great memories. We hired Tara Photograpy for beach photos, she was great and very patient with the kids!
