We loved our stay at Galway Lake. The owner, Peter, was very accommodating and even brought us food from his restaurant one night! The location is ideal, and being right on the lake was great for our grandkids. We were able to use the kayaks, the canoe and the paddle boat. (and the innertube as well)
We would definitely try to stay here again and would recommend it to others. The lake is very quiet and peaceful, which we enjoyed.
Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway

our time at the lake was wonderful...peter was very thoughtful and helpful. he brought pizza from his Schenectady restaurant for us and delightful pastries and sweet delicacies from local restaurants. the cabin was fully equipped and the lake boating options suited our family's needs perfectly. we enjoyed the canoes, paddleboat, kayaks and dock and deck!! i plan to go again!!

My husband and I stayed and celebrated our 5th anniversary here.the weather was the only unpleasant part. The house was very clean. The view from the deck was beautiful. They had lots different amenities, we made use of the kayaks. Peter was incredibly kind. I definately recommend this place.
Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway
