A Great Place to Holiday

Review submitted: February 22, 2013   Date of arrival: February 2, 2013

The condo is located in a small complex that is quiet and peaceful and the beach is just a short walk away. The condo is very, very clean, comfortable, well equipped and nicely decorated.
One day from the balcony, we were able to watch a pair of Yellow-crowned Night Herons search for food in the water. We identified the herons, egrets and ibis from the guide left by the sliding glass doors.
There are several restaurants and a variety of grocery stores, a short drive away. In addition to shopping at Publix, we bought fresh seafood at The Reef, juice and fruit at Yellow Banks Grove and pastries and croissants at Café de Paris. We enjoyed lunch at Guppy’s and dinners at the Salt Rock Grill.
The main road (Gulf Boulevard) through Indian Shores has walking and biking lanes along each side. There are plenty of crosswalks along the boulevard that allow for easy access to the beach.
Patrik and Eva were very good to deal with and were always available to answer questions or provide suggestions.

Absolutely gorgeous decor and condo! We had a few days of rain early in the week, but cleared up to be a beautiful week. Every fish possible to catch on the intercoastal was caught and dophins played every evening. Couldn't ask for a more relaxing vacation! We will be back in the future!

Patrik and Ana were great to deal with from the beginning to the end. They really want to make sure that you enjoy their home as much as they do. It was a very spacious condo great for stretching out and relaxing after a "long" day at the beach! Our boys loved the movies and video games. We appreciated all the extra's especially the wagon and beach toys and the kitchen with everything you could think of for cooking. Next time we are in Indian Shores we will deffinately be back.

Your condo is beautiful! Our boys 7 & 10 loved the games and the movie library. It felt like home when we werent at the beach or pool. Our boys were occupied with all your condo has to offer.

The weather was beautiful while we were here and we had a great time enjoying all the sunshine! We used the trolley a lot to spend time at the pier and at St Johns Pass. We also enjoyed a Pirate Cruise on Captain Nemo's ship. A great time was had by all.

Today is our last day and we plan to spend it at the beach. We love looking for shark teeth and unique sea shells.

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful condo with us. If we come back to this area again we will definitely be in touch to come back to your beautiful home!

What a great condo you have here! We had a wonderful ntime being able to spend family time together.

We really enjoyed the beach and the fishing from the pier. Had a "local" Great Blue Heron hang out with us while we were fishing. We started to refer to him as "Hank". He got his fill of fish this week! Also saw a manatee one evening at the pier.

We took a road trip down to DeSoto park and we can really recommend this beach to all when visiting. The beach was beautiful and the water was perfect. Enjoyed finding many shells and sand dollars.

Smugglers Cove golf was really neat and my nieces thought feeding the alligators was awesome.

Thank you for sharing your most beautiful home for this week. We look forward to visiting in the years to come!

We were extremely happy during our stay here. Thank you! The weather was beautiful with 85 - 90 sunny all week. We enjoyed finding shark teeth on the white sands and watching the sunset. We spent time at John's Pass waverunning and going on dolphin tours (well worth it!) We also had fun at night in Clearwater Beach. We watched the Tampa Bay Rays beat Toronto and also spent a day at Busch Gardens. Go to Shepherds for great people, ocean views and all you can eat crab legs!

We couldnt have asked for more in the condo + the location. I fell in love with the place. Very relaxing vacation and we hope to come back!

We had a lovely time in your very comfortable apartment. We enjoyed sitting by the pool, talking to the neighbors and walking along the beautiful beach. We ate at the Conch (very good) and the Friendly Fisherman at John's Pass - my favorite.

We loved the trolley - and travelled right along the Boulvard - both ways - using the Senior Go Cards - good value for $2.25 per day. We looked at all the other resorts and decided that Indian Shores was the best.

Thanks for helping us have a brilliant holiday. We will return.

Our family of 5 (plus one friend) stayed here for spring break and had a fabulous time. The condo is very clean and nicely decorated. There is nothing they have forgotten. The setup is so smart. The kids stayed in the master suite with plenty of room and their own bathroom, video games and movies. The other bedroom is at the end of the hall...very quiet and cozy with a bathroom directly across the hall. Lots of privacy. The beach wagon and toys were used daily. The walk to the beach was short and easy...even with 4 kids in tow. The beach was beautiful and uncrowded. We had a great time and could not be more pleased with the entire transaction as the owners were pleasant to work with and always easy to reach with any questions. I'm a happy happy vacationer. Would be thrilled to stay here again.

This was our first vacation to Indian Shores and what a wonderful experience it was! From the very beginning, dealing with Patrik was very easy. He was very helpful with answering all of our questions.

We were amazed with the photos of the condo. We were further amazed when we walked into the condo! As stated in other reviews, we too were surprised how spacous the condo was. The condo was nicely decorated and very clean when we arrived. Patrik & Eva made us feel very welcomed in their home. They provided everything one would need on vacation.

We loved spending the days at the uncrowded beach and the kids loved spending the evenings in the pool. Our older kids enjoyed taking the trolley to John's Pass.

We will definitely be visiting Patrik and Eva's condo again!

Review submitted: February 21, 2012   Date of arrival: October 29, 2011

We chose Indian Shores due to the proximity to Disney (little under 2 hrs and only 3 turns!) after finding this condo I'm sure we have found a place to return. We loved this condo. Our two little boys absolutely loved the video games during the evening while we were able to enjoy opening the sliding doors and enjoying the breeze (the sliding door is the entire wall, it opens all the way to allow a great breeze in with no direct sun). Although the patio only offers a view of the small canal it's still very quiet and private. Beach access was very easy especially with the beach wagon and toys that were in the huge garage! The beach is beautiful and very quiet.
Patrik was so helpful in answering questions prior to our arrival as well as helping to get us settled once we arrived. This condo worked wonderfully for our family... the master bedroom allowed us all to stay in one room and the pack-n-play is larger than standard ones which was great for our youngest (the high chair can in very handy too!)
I would highly recommend this condo... you will not be disappointed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo at Indian Shores, Fl.

The condo was very nicely decorated with hardwood floors throughout, a modern kitchen fully outfitted with cooking / eating ware, comfortable bedrooms and baths, and a comfortable living room with a large flat screen tv.

The owners provided a guest book with valuable information about the unit such as wifi access, instructions to operate all appliances, and information for local shopping, restaurants, and attractions.

It was also a special touch to be greeted with a handwritten note from the owners accompanied by a bottle of wine and bag of chocolates. THANK YOU!

The owners sent us emails during our stay checking in to insure we were having an enjoyable time at the condo and if there was anything that we needed.

We enjoyed our stay so much we will be back again in November!

Thank you Patrik and Eva for maintaining such a wonderful condo for your guests.

Thank you very much for opening up your home for us this week. This was our first official family vacation - it's safe to say it will be unforgettable, for many reasons.

The weather has been wonderful, 70s - 80s. We had some great beach days and some cooler days to open the sliding glass doors and enjoy the breeze.

Our oldest was very thankful for the Gamecube and all the Star Wars games.

Thank you again for helping us get settled in and also for the high chair and the Pack'n Play, they made life much easier!

This is a great Condo with loads of space for a family of 4/5 it is beautifully decorated has everything you need and just feels like a nice place to stay.
the owners communication and helpfulness is to a high standard, they go to lengths others don't by providing little touches that give you confidence in the rental of the property and that make you feel welcome as a guest as well.
It was our third week in Florida but we still didn't want to go home

The location is great for exploring the west coast of Florida, being equidistant from Clearwater and St.Pete's, Bush Gardens is about 45 minutes and we drove over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge to Bradenton, which is higher than all those rollercoasters.

If you are looking for a quiet stay in comfortable surroundings and with great beaches this makes a great holiday or as an addition to visiting the themeparks it is a great respite.
A car is necessary if you want to see the best of Tampa, but it my opinion it is impossible to holiday in the U.S. without a car anyway.
All in all you won't go wrong with this Condo .

Amazing Condo

Review submitted: August 16, 2011   Date of arrival: August 5, 2011

On arriving at the condo our kids first words were WOW !!
Patrik and Eva's condo is just as in the pictures, immaculately clean and has everything you will need, the only thing the pictures don't show is how spacious the condo is.

The location is amazing with the beach just across the road, while we were there the beach and pool never felt busy.

My husband turned 40 whilst we were at the condo and after a busy 2 weeks in Orlando it was a lovely relaxing way to spend his birthday, we spent the day on Honeymoon Island.

Patrik always responded very quickly to any questions I had prior to our stay and once we had arrived patrik emailed to check everything was ok, perfect host which made us feel very welcome at their condo.

I have already recommended this condo to friends who are traveling to Florida next year and we would defiantly stay their again ourselves.

Wonderful Condo and Wonderful People

Review submitted: July 25, 2011   Date of arrival: July 9, 2011

We were very impressed with the cleanliness and order of the condo. It looks exactly as it does in the pictures, only better. The kids were excited about the boogie boards, floats and sand toys that we didn't have to BUY and leave down there, since the Albertssons already have everything you need. The beach was perfect - we had a "regular" spot we stayed at each day, and the best thing was how relaxing and not crowded that area of the beach is. The kids spent most of their time collecting shells, digging in the sand and making sand castles. The best place we ate was Crabby Bill's, and one night we went into Clearwater on a sunset catamaran cruise. Patrik (owner) was extremely quick with email replies, so it really makes staying here more personal than renting from a management company. We would definitely stay again!

First let me say that dealing with the property owners, Eva and Patrik was the most wonderful experience. They are so friendly and helpful, providing the best in service that I've ever experienced.
Secondly, their condo has to be one of the best places that I have ever visited. The photos that they have posted on the site, do not do the place any justice whatsoever. The amount of space in there is remarkable! We had a full house almost everyday and we never felt crowded. This I think really made for a great vacation.

Though I live locally, I've never been in the Indian Shores area and I have to say that it's really wonderful. The condo is in an ideal location located extremely close to the beach which is literally less than a 5 minute walk away. The beach was quiet and everyone was so friendly. Even on the 4th of July when the beachs are typically over crowded, it was nothing like when you're further down in the Maderia, St. Pete beach area. There's also a little pier at the back of the complex and my father (who lives overseas) enjoyed it immensly spending hours back there, sometimes engaging with friendly neighbours or just enjoying the scenic views of the Gulf. This place just has everything you need for an escape.

The condo is also ideally placed for some of the nicest restaurants in town. We visited Salt Rock Grill, a mere 3 minute drive away as well as some other local delights, though sadly we never did make it to The Pub, which I've heard is excellent too.

So thanks again to Patrik and Eva for really helping making our vacation an excellent one. You really do know how to make someone feel as though they are home away from home.

We were all instantly comfortable. The wagon to haul the beach stuff was awesome. We cant say enough about the beach! It was very sad for us to have to leave. It was a wonderful start to our holiday. You have a beautiful condo and we enjoyed it so very much. There are so many added touches from a BBq grill & toys for children to an area for us to use the computer, a DVD library with a 52" flat screen TV! It is a great place to relax and enjoy each other even if it is cold and rainy, or sunny outside.

The beach was gorgeous. The water and sound of the waves on shore could easily put you into a most restful sleep. In case you hadnt guessed, we had a wonderful stay!

Great Property!!!

Review submitted: May 15, 2011   Date of arrival: May 4, 2011

We were pleasantly surprised at how efficient and well maintained the condo was. The property was even better than described. It has everything you could possibly need and more! The kitchen was stocked with every dish, utensil and appliance known to man. TV's in every room, cable, video games, DVD's (although we did not use them...it was nice), linens, beach towels/floats/toys and a garage space. The property has been recently updated and was very clean as well. We have a child and were pleasantly surprised that there was a crib and highchair for him.

The owner provided excellent customer service before, during and after our stay. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and hope to stay here again next year. The beach area was very secluded and clean- we pretty much had the whole beach to ourselves.

My only complaint was that the mattresses were uncomfortable on both beds but I suppose this could just be my preference.

We found a great restaurant on Park Blvd called Cajun Cafe on the Bayou serving New Orleans style cuisine and it was delicious...we went back twice. The coffee shop just south of condo was great too.

Hope you stay at this property and enjoy it as much as we did.

We were really tired of all the snow and cold here and came down to this great condo and warm, spring break weather. The condo is located in a very quiet area even though it is just a stone-throw from the beach. The condo is very, very large, and had absolutely everything we could wish for including couch and eat-in space for our whole family of six. It is beautifully furnished, like out of a home and garden show.

The owners were very helpful and promptly returned the deposit to us within a week. We are already excited about coming back next year so we can escape the Canadian winter again :)

Sarah (Springfield, Vermont)
Review submitted: March 27, 2011   Date of arrival: March 12, 2011

We just returned from spending 2 glorious weeks at Patrik and Eva's condo. It is exactly as described and pictured, except EVEN BETTER!!

The view and privacy of the condo is exceptional; to the rear of the condo where the balcony is, it is just a lovely little waterway and forest area, not another condo to look at like so many properties in the area tend to have. Everything you could possibly want (and wonder if you should pack) on vacation is there in the condo: iron, nightlights, beach toys, and anything and everything you can imagine for the kitchen. We were delighted to find a pack-n-play, highchair, plastic dishes and sippy for our children; but if you do not have kids you will certainly not be overwhelmed by kids' stuff. It is stored discreetly; if you need it, it is there, otherwise it is not in your way. Above all, the condo was SPOTLESS upon our arrival. No dirt or dust anywhere, even under the beds.

The size of the condo was even better than expected also. There is plenty of room for a large family of 5 or 6; or for two small families; or even a small family and a set of grandparents.

The condo is within walking distance of many things; restaurants, stores, etc. and of course the wonderful Indian Shores beach and the property pool (lovely and quiet and warm). We found the neighbors to be very friendly.

We enjoyed exploring some of the offerings of lovely Pinellas County, especially the Botanical Gardens and Heritage Village, both within 10 mins drive and crowd-pleasers for all ages.

We will absolutely recommend this condo to friends and family. We can't wait to return next year!

Picture perfect!

The condo was really clean and gorgeously furnished. Absolutely not like the beach condo we rented last winter, much, much better. The pictures looked good but they dont do the condo justice. Plus it is really big for a 2 bedroom condo.

The owners were easy to deal with and we got the security deposit back quickly. All in all highly recommended!

Condo on Intracoastal in India Shores

Review submitted: February 4, 2011   Date of arrival: January 2, 2011

I'm a rower and was looking for a place to row during the month of January. This condo, which is on the Intracoastal, worked very well. I could water launch from a sandy patch and there was plenty of room to store my 24' single in the two-car garage in windy conditions. Only problem was the boat traffic after 9:30 in the morning. I just got out early.

The condo is extremely well appointed and very comfortable. Patrik was most accommodating and tended to our every request within minutes. This is really a lovely property and the sunsets on the beach across the street are memorable.

I'm thinking of returning next winter with a rowing buddy.

Highly recommend!!

Beautifully furnished!

We rented this condo in early December 2010. The weather could have been warmer, but it didnt matter much because this condo was a real gem! It is absolutely beautifully furninshed (even better looking than in the pictures) and it is fully equipped with everything we could wish for. It is much more like a home than just an impersonal apartment for rent.

The owners were very easy to deal with, the location is great (close to the beach, very quiet, but with restaurants within walking distance) and the price was very good. We can really recommend it.

This is far more than a condo rental, it's a charming, well appointed, tastefully decorated home.
The location is excellent and the beach" as all florida beaches" is beautifull.
The beach trolly stops directly in front of the entrance a great help on the day we walked 6 miles south along the beach and decided walking back was not an option.
Dealing with Patrik was a pleasure. He answers e-mails immediatly and was helpfull with any questions we had. This property is a great find and I would recomend it.

Simply fantastic!

We stayed here in September 2010. We had a fantastic time here. The condo is really just as beautiful as in the pictures. The location is ideal, close to the beach, not much traffic around and very quiet. We loved the fishing pier, my niece got her first fish ever there! The price was very competitive, lower than most of the other comparable two-bedroom condos in the area. The condo was in great condition, with all the amenities we needed including three TVs, two DVD players, full kitchen with all applicances and a washer/dryer. The kids appreciated the video games and the 100+ DVDs in the evenings after we spent the entire day at the beach. Our only regret was having to leave after one week. We will definitely be back.

In summary, everything was great, from the initial contact with the owners (Patrick and Eva) to the quick return of the deposit after we came home.

I had stayed there for Christmas 2009 and thought it was great. However, I just came across the updated listing with the condo totally redone and it looks absolutely FABULOUS! Great job Patrik! This now makes it an unbelievable bargain for Indian Shores. Anyone would be silly not to rent this gem! Best Wishes!

Great place to stay!

We stayed there for the last two weeks in July and as we walked through the door, tired from our long flight, all I can say is WOW!
What a great place, the recent renovations have given this huge condo a really classy feel, with tasteful decoration and furnishings.
Close enough to the beach to keep the kids quiet and and the pool is about 20m away.
It's well equipped in every area and we would definitely stay there again.
A real gem! Thank you Patrik and Eva.

Spring Break Rental

MIbeach (Grand Rapids, Michigan)
Review submitted: April 19, 2010   Date of arrival: March 6, 2010

We visited in early March with our two college-aged daughters. The condo was very large and had everything we could ever need. Clean, plenty of extra linens, kitchen was well supplied. Garage was a nice perk. Beach access was just across the street and down a little bit. Never crowded. Ice cream parlour and convenience store within walking distance. Nice big dock on intercoastal for fishing. Boat rentals just down the street. Condo location was central to John's Pass to the south and baseball spring training parks to the north. Would rent this one again. Received good communication from owners and prompt return of our deposit.

January 2010 stay

Mairian (Ballwin MO)
Review submitted: April 7, 2010   Date of arrival: January 1, 2010

My husband and I and another couple stayed here in early January. The accomodations were first class and close to good eating. It has close access to the beach and other attractions and certainly close to fine and casual dining. As our primary interest was golf, the location was also fairly convenient to some of the area courses.
Enjoyed our stay and will return.

I had the pleasure of staying here between Christmas and New Years 2009. The condo is exactly as pictured and in a great location between Clearwater and St. Pete. Clean and quite and a more than enough room for our family of two adults and two children. Recommend it and would stay here again. The owner was wonderful to deal with.

Five Star rental and at a wonderful rate!
