After seeing reviews on Trip Advisory I was a little freaked out about the stay but I had already booked it and the reviews from this specific room # 231 were all rated well. Mark was very accommodating and professional, his response was quite prompt when I had emailed him a question. The resort is a bit rundown but the room was a great value for the location. I did see a cockroach the first night so I made sure to keep any food put away and kept the place tidy & we didn’t see any more bugs throughout the week. All said, I would recommend this room & would like to come back for a second trip ?

The room at Ocean

The room was great no hidden items from the advert, for the cost I think it was superb, furniture and fittings all good and clean, all electrical items were in good order, The Xfinity was a plus I had to work on computers for most of my stay and the internet was better than any hotel or property I have stayed at, with the exception of home. Room was well stocked with bathroom and sundry items, in fact I need not have packed half of things I did.

The Tiki bar was a plus, food great and service friendly. Tokyo Blue Resturant was good and the half price 2 hour period was a nice surprise .

Hotel is under refurbishment so lot of noise etc but didn't bother us much.

We think everything was perfect, but......

Would be good with a little more shower towels.
It rained in the window.
We thought it would be beach chairs.
It would be entered into a cleaning

It felt luxurious with valet parking.
Very good beach restaurant.

Great Location

The Ocean Manor resort is a bit older but still well maintained. It was a short 5 min drive to many local great restaurants. The room was nicely renovated with modern decor and was very clean and comfortable. Best part was that the resort was right on the beach with a nice large pool and convenient Tiki bar with good food and nice atmosphere. All in all it was a great experience. Thanks again!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

Amazing Room!!!

I just came back from a 10 day vacation with my 4 children and we always stay at the Ocean Manor and I need to tell you that this is by far the best room we rented!! It was beautiful, clean and up to date. It had everything you could think of. It even had splenda (LOL) which I use. It was like staying in a Hotel room you never ran out of towels. It had all the comforts of your home. Even the beds were comfortable. Everything in this Condo is high end I give it five stars.

If your thinking about renting this room then you should rent it!

I want to thank Mark for everything you have done for my family on this stay.

Ocean Manor on the Beach in Ft. Lauderdale

I just came back from a fabulous vacation in Ft. Lauderdale at the Ocean Manor hotel. The room we stayed in had just been gutted/renovated and very nicely furnished. My husband and I had read some negative reviews about Ocean Manor, but we decided to try it anyway, for a long getaway weekend. What a surprise! We opened the door to our room and felt like we were truly in paradise. It's gorgeous! Gleaming floors, 2 queen-size beds, a futon/sofa and even a lovely table and 4 chairs. The frig and microwave were an added bonus, and the wine glasses and other upscale features were superb! Being on the beach and having such a great place to relax in couldn't have been better. We'd recommend this to all our friends.

Great place for a quick getaway - beautiful accommodations equipped with everything you need, a lively tiki bar open to the beach with music nightly....lots of fun! A well-kept secret! Rob's properties are top-notch!
